We have just eaten a pensioners fish and chips each and my goodness was it good! Freshly fried, tasty and very well proportioned too. Excellent price and friendly service. Will highly reccomend and will definitely be coming here again.

Absolutely beautiful fish. Very generous portions & very reasonably priced. Service is 2nd to none, always helpful and polite. Delivery is always an option, even the fryer man (Nemo) delivers but this will bump the price up but we have a holiday home on a Caravan Park nearby and they deliver to our door! If you phone and order with time you wish to collect they cook to your desired time. Eaten from most fish and chip shops, Catch 22 is our preference. Before the bridge family xx

The order arrived 30 mins too early and the Haddock was not very nice. It was under cooked and slimy.

Ordered fish and chips for my elderly residents, when I collected them they not only gave good portions but drinks and sauces all thrown in for free. Residents throughly enjoyed them.

Ordered a large cod two batterd sausage scampi with chips and dips and it was absolutely delicious I highly recommend everyone go to catch 22. Great atmosphere polite people and great service. I will definitely be going again.

The lady who served me was amazing and kind and lovely but the guys cooking in the back kept giving me odd looks, i then got home to eat my food and ripped the battered sausage in half to cool down quicker and i look inside and it was raw, the pig was still oinking inside it was disgusting!

Wasn’t as nice as usual fish and batter was very greasy the box was drenched in oil the fish was stuck to the box and fell apart on removal, in fairness we’ve not had this before so am looking at it as a one off the chips were great as usual

food was excellent as always but I'm fed up with delivery drivers ringing me to tell me they can't find my house - because they're in the wrong road! Employ drivers that can use a sat nav or read street signs, telling me that he's from London and doesn't know the area is not an excuse because so am I and I found the house alright!

First time we've used this courier but it won't be the last. Well done.

Been a couple times since moving back to the area and honestly been great each time. Recently got a kids meal since I'm not a big eater and it was perfect! Very generous portion for a kids meal and the chips were so well done.

A long time since Ive been here, but down for the day and hungry for some chips! I was keen to see if they were still as good here. I seemed to wait a while, but they were busy , and it means everything is fresh. Service was polite and friendly and a piece of lemon was tucked in as well. Fish was large for a medium , fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips were huge for a medium and again cooked to perfection. I sat on a bench across the road and enjoyed

Soggy batter and chips, tasted absolutely terrible and definitely not fresh. £50 worth of food for my family and 90% was left uneaten. When we called to complain they answered with “what do you us to do about it?”. Offered a free cod and chips next time but there will definitely never be a next time. AVOID.

Just had 3 fish (Cod) and large chips. The fish certainly wasn't Cod but it "was all batter

Chicken was cold - particularly in the middle.

We were hungry so this was perfect!

A regular chips is enormous and we had more than plenty for 6 of us. The two battered sausages we ordered were overcooked and tough and the batter was nearly impenetrable, same went for the cod roe, batter very hard which was a shame as everyone else in our party enjoyed the food.

I'm not sorry it was early, was hungry great food and thanks for being early 😋

was early but I was really happy with that, I was starving! Great food.

did not receive my order was given two time slots which both passed without any food after two hours went to the restaurant only to be told it was nothing to do with them ,I then had to cancel my order and make a fresh order in store which wasn't a problem but my granddaughter didn't get her takeaway until 9pm way past her bedtime ,a phone call from just eat or KFC to say they couldn't deliver would have been nice but not to get any phone call is very disappointing to say the least

I would off liked salad with my cheese burger as I know they do it when you go into the chip shop and looks very nice when my friend had one .

called by driver at 7.01pm he says outside noone there. I call him back. engaged. called again he says he on his way to me calls again to say outside I have to call to him about where I live. food been out for over 20 mins by time he got to me. not hot very disappointed

Greatest delivery I've ever had

Ive used Catch 22 quite a few times over the last year. Consistently good chips, nice staff, decent portions. Only not 5 stars as they took a long time to adapt to Covid risks and allowed too many customers in without masks. They are better at it now though. Edited two 3 stars as food quality became sadly inconsistent

great food and service. was booked for a trimmed delivery but came a few minutes early but that could just be the driver getting a good journey! Amazing portion sizes (a regular chips feeds two adults with plenty left over) and perfectly cooked!!

Catch 22 was recommended to me by a friend who lives locally. One of the best fish and chips I ever tasted! The fish was absolutely spot on and chips were out of this world 🌎!! Staff were so accommodating and also very friendly, my children absolutely loved the free lollipops. We'll definitely visit again when in the area.

The fish was rock hard you could thrown it at brick wall and could bounce back. Same as the cod bite same.. the protion are not that great for money.

said food would be delivered between 18.10 -18.30 but arrived 17.45 therefore had to try and keep hot as some diners were not coming in for dinner until 18.15, which meant food was a bit dried up
