Catalina's in Camden

Hold up, wait a minute, somethin’ ain’t right! Best hot sauce night you could imagine. Even comes with a complimentary shower head in the toilet for when you drop a spicy jobby! Massive shoutout to Henni and her amazing team, we had such a fun night - would highly recommend!

I went to Catalina’s with some friends for dinner and drinks and it was absolutely incredible! Across all of us we tried most things on the menu and every dish was better than the one before! Delightful selection of flavourful meets AND vegan options so definitely something for everyone! All of the recipes are family recipes and the atmosphere is so welcoming, it really felt as if we were in Catalina’s living room! The drinks were tasty and strong with a wide selection, I can especially recommend the classic margarita - best one in London in my opinion! The staff was very attentive, warm, and welcoming, even though it was really busy night. They even joined us for round of shots at the end of the night! All in all a wonderful experience and I can only recommend to everyone to go there for delicious dinner and drinks!

Food turned up stone cold and very greasy, when staff were asked if it should be warm, they said yes and took my food away. The same plate was returned seconds later and I was told ‘your food was made at the same time as everyone’s else’s. The staffs attitudes changed after this and they seems frosty and less friendly. We were one of 4 tables in this restaurant. I have worked in hospitality over the past 15 years and was shocked at the service in this restaurant. The toilets were horrendous, down some grotty filthy stairs with a mop bucket in the middle of the floor. Save your money.

Avoid this awful restaurant. Quesadilla burnt. Filling disgusting and sparse. Served with a tiny side of something? Less than a teaspoon of stuff??? Beers overpriced. Salad very basic so I had to ask for extra guacamole to add flavour. Honestly, a child could have cooked up a more appetising meal. The waitress add service charge and £10 for a tax?! Never in my ten years of living in London have I paid for an additional tax. £64 for tasteless meal for two. Just don't go there.

We had the best time! Six of us celebrating a friend's birthday and there for the chilli sauce making experience. It was a great evening; a heady mix of chilli, margarita's and great food - what more could you ask for. Henni fizzles with energy and she and her team did a fantastic job. It was fun and informative, and we highly recommend it.

This small, welcoming restaurant is an absolute gem. We traveled from Liverpool for a show and had scouted for a place to eat beforehand and booked here. The place is small but the welcome is big and the staff were just so lovely. The menu is small but packs a big punch! We ordered nachos with beef to start and two cocktails. We could see the cocktails being freshly made and tasted out of this world , they were the pirate bay and tequila old fashioned. The nachos arrived pulled high and we’re a colour sensation and the taste, wow every bite was an explosion in your mouth. We both ordered o de of each taco as we could t decide. They looked as delicious as they tasted. I stuck with the sauce that came but my husband went for the scorpion! Be warned he loves hot food and this was super hot! For cocktails we then went with the don espresso Martin for my husband and I had the coco gelleta- this is THE best cocktail I have ever tasted! And I’ve tasted a fair few in my time!!!!! We ordered a flight of ice cream to share for dessert as they had flavours we’d never had! So rum, pina colarda and champagne were ordered. Watch out for the rum one it wobbles my head with so much rum LOL all three were super tasty. We really enjoyed this place and would recommend any one to go give it a try! The whole experience is just wonderful.

We made a last minute on the day booking and were accommodated. The food was amazing - we got nachos to share followed by tacos and enchiladas. I tried one of each taco off the meat menu and they were super tasty. The cocktails that we all tried were delicious and the mojito came with an adorable glass cocktail stirrer with a little whale topper. The service was fantastic throughout, the lady who served us (whose name I didn’t catch) is a co-owner of the restaurant and she was really friendly, chatty and engaging, even having a tequila shot with us all! I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a desire for good Mexican food and we will be back!

Ein toller Ort, ob als Pärchen oder mit Freund:innen. Am besten mehrere Gerichte teilen. Die Nachos sind der Hammer. 😍 Das Essen schmeckt sehr authentisch und es gibt leckere vegetarische Optionen. Man muss sich einfach durch die Cocktailkarte probieren.☺️ Wir kommen jedes Mal hier her.

We visited Catalina's last night as we were keen to have nachos and in the Euston area. I did a Google search and Catalina's came up. From the minute we arrived to the moment we left we received the best customer service. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican ingredients and flavours with a great Vegan and Vegetarian menu. The lady who served us (sorry we didn't catch your name) was a co-founder and told us the history of the restaurant and was so lovely and attentive throughout our meal. Her customer service was amazing and it was so refreshing as we often go to restaurants were there is very little interaction or even acknowledgement. I highly recommend this restaurant it's absolutely brilliant! I'm looking forward to going back in the near future and trying the other delicious food and cocktails! Thanks again for a lovely evening and wonderful meal. :)

This is a very cozy place. When they say "pet friendly", you can't imagine how serious they are about it. I haven't seen other place so caring about pets (their own menu, pet host, water, and tons of love). Food is really tasty with original tortillas flavor (this is great). Cucumber and mint drink is refreshing and Nachos toppings are fantastic. Besides all this, their service is adorable. One thing to improve is the waiting time for food. Apart from that this is a place to go for a great mexican food experience!
