Had a lovely time here! Been 2 times now and this place doesn’t miss!! Me and the mrs love it as she is celiac and can’t find many GF options however this place has an extremely large availability for her which always works for us! Thank you so much for the great food!! Will 100% be returning!

Friendly staff. You can either order at the bar or use the barcode to scan on your phone and order. Food wasn’t great to be honest. But overall an average experience. Won’t be making plans to return here but if I’m around the area and need a quick bite to eat - I’d pop in.

Very special place with very special staff who go far beyond to accommodate person with serious allergy as they did with me. I was not at any point worried about having food that I'm able to eat. Staff is happy doing their job with smile and kind word. Been Cassio lounge a few times. Never had a bad experience here and the food has always been good quality. The inside of the lounge is always clean and presentable and the staff are always polite and on hand to help with any question. Latest visit I tried the chicken bacon & Avacado burger and it was fantastic. The tapas plates are also very good and worth the price.

Don't know Watford at all - and on a rainy morning this was the first place we came across. Quirky looking place - and service was friendly. Decent enough breakfast - but really odd for a sit down restaurant you had to go and order at the bar if you didn't want to use the QR code.

Nice place! Have a lovely cappuccino and Steak Frites 8oz 28-day-aged rump steak with garlic butter, veggie parmesan & rocket salad and fries. And also Chipotle Beef Brisket Burrito with Soft flour tortilla wrap with pulled brisket, spicy rice, mature cheddar, tomato & red pepper salsa, guacamole, pickled red cabbage and chipotle soured cream. Love it so much.

Great food. It was my third time on the triple tapas and wine to wash it down. Delicious food and refreshingly good customer service ( compares to poor or mediocre in many places)

Nice lounge. Pets welcomed. Water bowls, blankets and toys available for dogs.

Food and service were excellent. They had a live singer and she was just a bit too loud so any conversation was more difficult. Have used the 'Lounge' chain before and never had a bad meal and great value for money.

Was really impressed with our lunch experience. The food was top notch, the service was friendly and efficient. The kids loved their meals and the relaxed atmosphere complemented everything. I highly recommend.

An ideal location with a decent atmosphere, completely thrown out the window by the poor service and disrespectful staff. Waited 20 minutes for two drinks and when approached to clarify what was going on, the pale-faced vampire-looking lad behind the bar decided to completely disregard his mistake by tossing the blame at myself (instead of apologising) for “not waiting around for the drinks” despite saying he would bring them over to the table. All while having a smug look on his face and no realisation of his actions. To make things worse the manager entirely condemned his behaviour and when called out for this her solution to the matter was to roll her eyes and tell us to leave. Thanks again Cassio Lounge! You do have great foot rests though I have to say.

Would have been 5 (for a lunch time visit) but the chicken soup in a mug was far too salty. Not healthy!

Food is decent but service is very poor. The staff is very rude.

The food is nice but no kids menu to be seen so lady at till had to basically read all the options out to me. I don’t know if there had been food burnt or dirty oil or something in kitchen but it was quite smelly inside and my hair and clothes stank after i left. Like cooking. But burnt oil cooking if that makes sense ?

Cassio Lounge(I believe named after Cassiobury park or the calculator brand)was excellent today. It’s ideal if you want to come here after the cinema/puttshack/boom battle bar for a meal. We just had desserts today. The GF chocolate salted caramel sundae was delicious. Also very generous with the brownie peices which were delicious and beautifully decorated and presented. The watermelon ice tea was alright. Fairly reasonable pace for food to come out,friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Spooktacular Halloween decorations,I think it goes so well with the lounge vibe and decor that it should be kept up all year round. Love the lounge chain,I hope to visit back.

Attractive family friendly good food 🥐🥑 Polite and calm population.

It was something like hummus, and it was delicious! Sweet potato fries are delicious in Korea, but they are better than gamfries!

The staff are casual and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My daughter and I ordered the 'full English' but before we received our breakfast we were asked if we wanted to sample one of their main courses - chicken with chorizo. Absolutely delicious and they parcelled up what we didn't eat as a takeaway 😊 I remained in Cassio while my daughter went shopping and the staff couldn't be more helpful, no rushing me out and left me in peace with another pot of tea. Will be back and highly recommend 👌

Ordered a philly cheese ciabata Out of stock, Ordered 2 teas no tea spoons. Place is a quarter full. Asked for soup of the day sorry we haven't got soup 😔

Service was slow but being a Saturday that is partly expected but 45 minutes after ordering was a bit excessive. Food was good once it arrived. Fresh and hot.

Food was OK but seriously a wait of 42 minutes for 2 burgers, a sandwich, 3 tapas and a salad. It wasn’t even that busy just a slow Tuesday lunchtime No apology for the long wait

I love Cassio lounge. Very good quality food and drinks. A great atmosphere and vibe. I love the decor it’s so interesting. Service has definitely improved since my last review which is why I’m updating my review. I now choose to eat here whenever in town as it’s got a good menu with tasty healthier food. I’m actually quite surprised it’s not busier during the day.

Absolutely amazing we arrived at 9 am this morning for my Nephew’s 30th there was about 30 people. Service was excellent, food was great and it was dog friendly, they had dog treats, dog toys and little blankets for the dogs. Would recommend to everyone

Always a winner for us...ambience is superb 👏 service is TAP THE APP or if you find it difficult they will manually take your order. Brekkie is superb and a big choice, lunch menu is plentiful and loads of choices...sweet/savoury...they don't rush you out...dogs welcome so plenty ramblers...our go to place

When we walked in we got seated at a table realy quickly and the serice of the staff was great. The food was quick to come even when there is alot of people. The food was well cooked and tested great. The atmosphere is amazing there is music going on I'm the back ground and the whole place is really clean

Somehow we did mistake when ordering food burgers and beer plus green tea but smiling Ms.Arijana sorted out everything even offered us complementary drinks.She was really very good with highest standard and very professional. Mr Omar who was serving food was excellent too and deserves to get highest marks very professional too.I and husband Alex are pleased with service and are coming back .

On a recent trip to Watford with my fiancé, we decided to try out Cassio Lounge. I was a little disappointed at the ordering system but it wasn't going to ruin my experience. What did ruin my experience was biting into my Chicken, Bacon and Avocado burger to find that the chicken wasn't cooked through. I took my burger to the front desk where I showed it to the lady whom I believe to be the manager (she never identified herself), said she'd deal with it. She came to the table and offered to take it off the bill and give me anything off of the menu that I wanted. My stomach was already turning at the thought of eating raw chicken, so declined any more food and opted for a drink to calm my stomach. I was then told that due to the way food is ordered (you pay by app or at the desk in advance) that I would have to wait for the head office to contact me to receive my refund. Disappointed, I left my contact details. This was a week ago and no one has contacted me or given me my money back. To make matters worse I did experience an "upset stomach" that evening and had to cut down time with my family before I left to go home. I would not recommend this place.

Fine place to have breakfast, the food was okay, the ambiance good, although the volume of the ’background' music could be one notch down. It’s a plus that next to ordering by phone/app, you can also order at the bar more humanly 😉

Shocking is all I can say. My husband and I popped in for some lunch. The guy that greated us was very helpful, we asked for a gluten free menu (nice menu) were told to find a table and order at the bar. The waiter just dumped the food on the table (1 plate at a time). My gluten free bread roll was rock solid, the brisket was barely warm and my garlic & parmasen fries were cold. My husband's food was just slightly warmer than mine. I asked the waiter if I could get my food hot. On his return he just put the plate in front of me and walked off. The brisket was a little warmer (minus the garlic mayo) but the fries were still cold. I personally took them back and said sorry they are still not hot. When the fries came back they were inedible. How hard is it to say 'sorry about that' Over all it was one of my worst dinning experience ever.

The food is absolutely delicious, especially their shakshouka and patatas bravas! We came here multiple times, however, the service is extremely bad! Tables are always full of old plates and dirty, nobody comes to clean them when they sit you, the staff look very unhappy, they don’t even bother to put a smile on when they bring your food or drinks and service is very slow. I would definitely recommend the food but the service does put you off coming here again.

Eaten here quite a few times and it is always absolutely spot on. Good value, quick service and the food is excellent every time. Highly recommend this place for a brunch or light lunch.

Staff seemed very preoccupied, despite ordering at the table via QR code and inputting the table number for your order I found it very unprofessional of some serving staff to walk around asking tables was it their order, they didn't appear to know the table numbers. Our table was filthy, but couldn't ask staff for additional napkins to clean it ourselves as they would literally drop off drinks/cutlery/food and run. Never checked in mid meal, never spoke to us. Felt like an inconvenience.

We chose this restaurant based on the online gluten free menu and was not disappointed. We both had burgers, I had the regular cowboy smash & miley had the gluten free cheese & bacon burger and we shared the gluten free halloumi fries with chilli jam both upgraded to GF sweet potato fries and it was all lovely and at a good price for the quality, taste and size. For desert I had the churros and miley had the gluten free brownie, again both very nice (chocolate sauce with the churros wasn’t brilliant but still fine) Should we find ourselves in Watford again we would 100% come back

I never usually bother with bad reviews but our experience at Cassio Lounge Watford was so terrible that I can't not bother. Our waitress was quite frosty with us on arrival and, considering how quiet the cafe was, it seemed a bit unnecessary and rude. The food, however, is what's encouraged me to leave such an awful review. Upon eating the Faux BLT from the vegan menu, I was left with the worst experience of food poisoning I have ever known in my entire life. Without going into extreme detail, I was physically and uncontrollably sick (all over myself, all over my clothes, all over the airport terminal and in front of the entire departure lounge) four time in Stansted Airport - and a further twice more on my flight - having eaten ONLY the Faux BLT that morning. I've since sent an email to Cassio Lounge to express genuine concern in the interest of it not ever being an experience someone else should have to go through again, and received zero communication in response. Incredibly disappointed, I should've paid a fortune and just eaten at the airport.

Came with a friend for lunch and we both decided on burgers. Delicious - even the gluten free bun. Great coffee too. My friend commented that the latte with oat milk was the best she's tasted. Praise indeed

Update: I appreciate the response I received from owner. Will try Cassio Lounge again and update my review based on that experience when I do. - - - - - - - - Entered Cassio lounge last night at 9:40pm. Was approached by one of workers and told to sit anywhere, to order food via QR code and collect drinks at bar. When trying to order food by QR code, it kept hanging. I ended up approaching bar at 9:48pm to say our orders for food and drink aren't going through to then be casually told by same worker, yes the kitchen closes at 10pm so you cannot order food now. Why didn't she tell us that as we entered? The website states it closes at 12am, if the kitchen closes earlier it should be stated on the website and workers should also advise customers on entry. When I asked if that was new, another worker then proceeded to tell me that is their policy. I just asked if the 10 pm kitchen closing was a new thing, I don't need to hear it's your policy and it's also not a good thing to tell customers after offering bad service. It just aggravates them. All in all a terrible experience here last night.

Popped in for a lounge breakfast this morning as just needed to escape the world for a bit. I think this place has everything to put one at ease. An assortment of nicely spaced tables and low volume relaxing background music. Add to this a freshly cooked breakfast which is always so beautifully cooked and presented you cannot go wrong. Staff are very friendly here.

Lovely place, clean and the staff was polite. Family and pet friendly with a mini station for dog treats and toys, which we found cute. Food was good and freshly made. There's lots of choice on the menu so worth a try. We'll be going back!

We had lunch today with some drinks like chicken burgers and sides.We enjoyed and it was very good. Atmosphere was very nice typical for Friday.Service was excellent.Specially the waiter Ashley whose service exceeded expectation contributed this.The company has to be proud of having him.We have also to mention waitresses Jana & Emma who were excellent.Definitely we will be back. Our group of friends to go place for a nice relaxing drink and a catch up. They have some sofas as well as tables for dining. Order at the bar or through QR code/website. No app needed. Unique and interesting decor.

All i can say is.... I love it there.. Totally my vibe, hippy, retro, artie all rolled in 1..and all staff r just beautiful people and always soo happy and happy to help... Its mine and my daughters/sons go to everytime we go Watford always got av a coffee /breakfast...and if u av dogs they r allowed in to and get slightly spoiled wiv treats too..

Arrived and told to go and find our own table. No menus. Had to find our own. Ordered using the app. Food took 25 minutes to arrive and was cold. Waiter arranged for the meal to be re-done, but his response was at best indifferent. Never again.

Where to start, came with my mum, sister and nephew. We all got our food but I ordered tapas and only 2 out of my 3 dishes arrived. After 10 mins I asked about my 3rd dish. I was told they would bring it when it was ready. So I waited another 10 mins, now the dishes that I did have were stone cold. I asked again and was told the kitchen forgot to do it. So now I’m waiting another 15 mins for all 3 dishes to come out to me. I was so over hungry at this point that I couldn’t eat it. However they did refund me In the end. Super disappointed as I heard this place was a lovely place to eat.

Visited for a quick snack and a drink after a busy week at work. Staff were really friendly and the food came out really quickly. The three tapas selection offers a good mix at a decent price.

A nice place to go for a spot of brunch if you have been shopping in Watford town centre. No big 'wow' dishes but the food is good. The service is excellent, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would pop in here again when I'm in Watford.

Went for breakfast. Lovely place, nice seating, lots varied food options to choose from. Food taste and quality upto the mark. Only one negative that I could mention is that the coffee was not hot..was barely warm. Looking forward to visit again.

It’s the same as every other ‘lounge’ in the country, perfectly fine, nothing special. Good for a quicker dinner option.

I always love visiting the cassio lounge 😍 the food is always amazing, I always go for the veggie breakfast and it's so tasty! Best veggie sausage I've tasted and the rest is banging too including the Spinach and pepper sides and Cheddar and sweetcorn fritas 😍 Being dog friendly I normally walk the dog into town and head in for a breakfast. The staff are always so lovely, the vibe and atmosphere is really chill and relaxed with sofas and the wicked decor, now I just need to come for lunch or dinner 🥰

I like the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff in here. There is always treats for your dog,smile and willingness to please you even when you order just a cup of coffee. Today I have asked for less water in my coffee and the sweates young barman added an extra shot of espresso with no charge, to make my coffee as I like. I congratulate the management for not sticking to formal staff uniform, which makes the place cosy, friendly on top of tasty food .

A first visit and a thoroughly enjoyable one. The team are polite, attentive and friendly. The food is very good and moderately priced. The decor and ambiance is great for couples, families or friends. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be returning again very soon. It's also dog friendly so our Goldie joined us too.

We chose this place because it allows dogs. They are very dog friendly. Dog blankets and toys are available, so they feel right at home. The decor and ambience were great. It is a good place to spend with family and friends for brunch. We tried to order from the app, but for some reason, it didnt work. We ordered breakfast from a range of vegan and vegetarian options. Everything we ordered was pretty good but we all felt there wasn't enough of it. Still felt hungry after. Not enough for brunch. I would go back again as its one of the better places for dogs.

Nice place in the center of Watford, an ideal place for a drink and in the meantime try some quick dishes. The restaurant is internally in full English style, with a relaxing atmosphere. The only flaw is the service: you pay first directly from the app and then the food arrives. Against those who get drunk and then don't pay 😂

Honestly from the beginning it was red flags galore. Got in. Stood for far too long considering the level of trade. I turned round to leave just as someone came over. Went to the loo- used the accessible one as I have just had surgery 4 days ago. No hand soap, toilet check sheet signed forward till 6pm. Other than that the loo was actually quite clean. Menu is unimaginative and predictable. But I chose the buttermilk chicken and my other half a toasted ciabatta. No ordering at the table either on the qr code or at the bar. He had to come back over as they couldn’t make the drink I wanted- I assume they didn’t want to order in the peach puree to avoid losing most of a pouch of stock as they weren’t too busy. Also the girl asked him if he wanted his change. He said yes. She said he’d have to wait for her to go and get some more change then from the office. So he said don’t bother. Very clever. Imagine doing this 20 times a day every day. Oh and his Diet Coke was as flat as a pancake. 40 mins for food. Someone else walked in, asked us how long we’d been waiting. We told them. They asked one of the staff who said the wait time was 20 minutes as they ‘weren’t busy at all’. 20 mins my butt. Food was cold. I have attached photos. Barely any filling. Dry and tough buttermilk chicken. Chipped crockery. Gunky old ketchup on the bottles. We were so hungry we ate it and left. You pay before you eat (clever) so didn’t bother saying anything. No one came to see if we were all ok anyway. I’m not doing their job for them.

Great gluten free lunch and was able to order from a huge menu with options. Staff members take allergens very seriously and gluten free meals arrive with small flags with GF. Really chill place to visit, especially during the week, and very fast service. Power sockets by some tables as well.
