I was looking forward to coming here so much! It was our first time here and it looked lovely through my research. So, we went on Saturday, early afternoon. We walked through the market entrance and were greeted by two female members of staff who just looked at us. No smile, nothing. One looked like she was making coffees, the other was just talking to her. Both continued on with their conversation. Very unprofessional and not all customer friendly. My brother has profound additional needs and so I am even more disgusted with their service. They could tell that we looked a bit confused and no offer of assistance. What is expected I suppose without a smile and/or hello to greet you. Anyway, ALL of the tables in that area were filthy. Yes. Filthy. Spilled milk, toast crumbs, spilt tea marks and some had been left there for a while....Remember, one waitress is just having a conversation... I state fairly loud for the waitresses to hear me that all of the tables in here are dirty so we will look in the other area. I was just met with unimpressed facial expressions from the two of them. We walk into the other area. It is really pretty. There were a group of women on one table, a few people outside so, they were not even busy. I have worked in this industry and it is no excuse having a place that dirty. More staff is not even needed unless it is to replace the unfriendly and lazy ones...So again, tried to find somewhere to sit and it was the same problem. I had to explain to my brother that we were going elsewhere. Thankfully, he handled that well. If the dining areas were completely dirty, I could only imagine what the kitchen area was like. I told my brother that we were leaving as this place is dirty and there are no clean tables. The women even looked on at me. I have to be careful with my brother's immune system. I was not risking it there. As I was leaving, I said again indirectly to the waitress that we were going because this place is dirty with no clean tables. I can honestly say that I am NOT surprised because we left the way that we came in and none of the tables were cleaned!! NONE! Blimey! It must have been one good conversation that they were having... So, we went to Milano's which is across the street which was stunning and spotless with fantastic customer service, especially in regards to my brother. It looks rundown on the outside but I highly recommend it. Whoever was working here at Casey's though on Saturday at around midday, shame on you. What on earth are the manager's doing???

Went this morning for breakfast with my wife and 2 kids, the breakfast was amazing. The sausage and bacon especially tasted great. My 5 year old daughter is a very very very fussy eater and even she demolished a doorstep sausage and bacon sandwich which she never does! Staff were great and the food was even better.

My 24 year old autistic brother came to your pub last night as he desperately needed help. He’s autistic is a lovely, kind and very trusting young man. He was stranded in Bridgend by a so called friend. None of us are familiar with Bridgend. His phone had run out of battery and he needed to get home to Barry. He was alone, drunk and he is very vulnerable! Without being able to use his phone he couldn’t call an Uber or phone home for help. He came to your pub to ask for help, just needed to charge his phone for a few minutes so he could call an uber, but the bouncers/security on the door would not let him in. He told them he was desperate, practically begging... What absolute disgusting behaviour from these power hungry so called men. He was alone in a place miles from home. He just wanted to come into the pub to ask for help and to charge his phone for a few minutes! My brother was extremely anxious! Luckily a takeaway place helped him. They let him charge his phone so he could order an Uber. He came home at 330am! Extremely upset and my mother was out of her mind with worry. Maybe you should learn that a little kindness to somebody who is asking for help, who is clearly and visibly vulnerable, goes a long way!

Really keen drinks prices in this sports bar. No longer any food other than crisps, etc. Now has 4 darts boards.
