Visited this restaurant for the the first time on Friday night with friends. The food and service were amazing, really nice restaurant with a nice family feel to it. The garlic bread starters were a good size, with a nice thin and crispy base and the picante option had a great kick to it. We all ordered different main courses (pasta, veal and salmon) and deserts - all of them looked and tasted incredible. Plenty of options on the menu to cater for all tastes. Highly recommenced, we will definitely be back.

Such a lovely Italian restaurant. We came tonight with our daughter for her birthday along with the grandkids. A lovely welcome from the waiter/owner. The food as ever was gorgeous. Empty plates all round. We had 2 garlic mushroom starters 2 belly pork starters and some olives. All super tasty. For mains we had 2 seafood linguine 2 pizzas and a salmon tagliatelle with som3 bread to mop up the sauces. The seafood linguine was really tasty and cooked to perfection. Everyone enjoyed their mains. 3 of our party had desserts which included tiramisu cheesecake and profiteroles. More empty plates. Can’t fault anything and we most certainly will return.

As a special event we decided to book here for our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed in by Fidel, and Admirali We both had a starter garlic mushrooms and bruschetta, main courses of chicken Valdostana and Filleto Rossini, the fillet was cooked to perfection and probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. Will always come here as the food and service never disappoints

What a great find. We were in Sheffield for the snooker and looking for a restaurant near to where we were staying. Our host was frankly marvellous and couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. The food was delicious, full of flavour, well presented and generous in portion. Having lived and worked in southern Italy, it was great to be reminded of the tastes of the country and be able to chat about the area with our host. The pricing was very fair and the food more than good value for money. If you are in the area please consider this family owned business.

From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for you. We were made extremely welcome and the choice of food was excellent. When our food arrived it was amazing my husband and I had our honeymoon in Italy and it was like being back there. We all had three courses followed by hot drinks and everyone complemented the chef on each course. Most certainly will be going back and highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a top class Italian establishment that serves excellent cuisine.

We dined out here as a family of 7 for my daughter's 16th birthday. It was our first time visiting and won't be our last. The food was lovely and portions huge! The service was outstanding and we were not rushed at all, spending almost 3 hours here. The waitress was outstanding and couldn't be more helpful - didn't catch her name unfortunately but she deserves credit! We will be back.

Came here last night for my birthday and had an absolutely fantastic time! Exceptional service, amazing food (we practically licked the plates clean!) and a lovely atmosphere! We won't leave it as long to return this time, thankyou!

Booked a table for 7pm when we arrived all the tables were occupied, staff asked if we wanted a drink while a table became available. Unfortunately there isn’t anywhere to enjoy the drinks you have bought and you are left shuffling around busy staff go in and out of the kitchen. A table became available around 7.30 staff made the table ready and eventually came with menu’s and took our drinks order. Our wine arrived some 15 mins later with only two glasses and no ice bucket. Our order was taken but starters didn’t arrive for 40 mins, Very tasty, Our main dishes took a further 50 mins to arrive after our starter plates were taken by witch time we were all getting quite frustrated. It was very apparent that there was insufficient staff both in the kitchen and on front of house but they had continued to take bookings for the evening with the knowledge that they would struggle to manage a full restaurant. An extremely disappointing evening !!!!

The service was excellent Food was nice. We asked for non alcoholic and no parmesan. They actually took a bit more time than usual to serve the food but honour our dietary needs. The waitresses were very pleasant. One of them volunteered to help with our 9 months old child

Visited last Sunday for a booking of 8 people. Restaurant was very quiet for a Sunday with only 2 other tables. The restaurant has a big poster up for it’s Sunday menu - it’s no longer available. We were only informed as we started to order. Poster needs to be removed. However to be fair to the chef he did agree to cook something from the menu that wasn’t on the main menu. The waitress was very good - very attentive and drinks were good. Good interaction with our table. The problem was with the food - probably the worst lasagne we have ever had. Lacked meat, lacked substance and flavour and the pasta was way over cooked. The pizza was also poor. Second time we’ve visited - first was good food and poor service - this was the opposite.

The menu looks good with interesting options and the food was ok. The restaurant was not particularly busy for a Friday but food took over an hour to arrive, we had to ask where it was. We decided to leave rather than waiting on desert. We’ve been previously and it was much better. Underwhelming experience.

We’ve been a couple of times now so thought with family visiting it would be a great choice. It wasn’t. Of the two staff working, one was really trying but had just over a months experience (as we were told) the other was a rabbit in the headlights and was more hindrance than help. We ordered mains only, two fish dishes, a pasta dish and a rare steak. This took 40-45mins with, at time of ordering, 3 other tables of two (one of which was already there) to arrive from when the order was placed so should have been out way before that and we had to chase when it was coming, even then there was a delay between the first and second two plates arriving. The food was ok, not anything bad but certainly wasn’t worth the wait. Really need to up their game, an actual manager front of house (or somebody with restaurant experience) could make things a lot better - but until this happens I’d give it a miss. Used to be good, now not so much.

We have been here 2 times in the past already and this was our 3rd visit. We finally decided to leave a well deserved review. After being disappointed with italian food back on our holiday on whitby, Casa Italia was what we needed, delicious food from starters to main and amazing desserts. Italian food is all about flavour and if you don’t want to be disappointed Casa Italian your place to go. The Host/Owner is always accommodating and very welcome. This place deserves more recognition.. Bravo 👏

We were made so welcome by the owner as we arrived. The ambience, decor and staff were so friendly and accommodating. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and said we would definitely return. I have told lots of friends about our experience, so hopefully will create more custom.

We go to Casa Italia frequently. Food is lovely and service good. Any earlier issues have definitely been ironed out.

We went there to have a late lunch early dinner. The pasta was delicious. I had white wine, house white delightfully smooth. We shared a freshly baked bread. They’re tiramisu and American coffee is the best in town. The owner is super nice. Tiramisu deserves five star.
