Great location,great overnight stay,very clean,try it out for yourself.not far from brighouse town centre

Very nice first time visiting but will return the staff and management we're very nice and friendly.

What a wonderful experience 10th October greeted by Mia and Ella, went out of their way to make us happy and they did , way and beyond, just loved there charisma so good at what they do at work thank you both ,and massive thanks for upgrading us to a lovely room imad the manager was fantastic, this place has everything wonderful experience and I'm definitely coming back 5 star all day long JJ

You are crooks! Taking £59 for a room…really desperate. Reporting you to booking.com! You will not get away with it!

Been a blot on the landscape for years. Doesn't need new owners, needs bulldozing. Let the nearby residents have some well deserved peace after years of trouble and turmoil.

seriously what has happened to this place it's just over the years become really bad. Food has gone downhill the owners are always in trouble it needs to be sold and taken over and revamped by new investors

Closed down due to grow on site, had a birthday meal booked and didn’t think to inform us they had closed. Hope they don’t open again.

Excellent food including breakfast & the staff were really helpful BUT management need to be more aware of what staff are past over information wise or staff need to take more notice as 2 different members of staff knew nothing about the wedding going on & that some guests would be ordering food & drink pre paid for, I was also told what the bill was when all I had asked for were my drinks? Not that I'd come to settle the bill, very confusing & also stressful as I'd then been working for quite some time & simply wanted to go to bed. I was there for the wedding but as I was also working I had phoned the previous day to confirm I'd be there from 10.45am & would the room be ready, I was assured yes & due to circumstances I impressed on it or I could have travelled a little later. The room wasn't ready so my job was already made very difficult, around 1/2 an hour later I was asked if I wanted another room to be made up, I confirmed it was big enough to take a travel cot, I was assured yes but it wasn't, at least not for myself & my guest to be able to move easily between the tiny en suite & the bedroom & us also having a case & rucksacks & being able to easily open & close the window. There was also a portable heater as well as a fixed wall heater in the room so assumably the fixed heater needed a plumber? I couldn't move the portable as the travel cot was up & in use, very annoying. The tap was also fixed back to front so H was actually cold & C was hot, I was also sober just in case anyone reading was wondering. This was room 2, the mattress needs urgently replacing & a mirror needs fitting in the bathroom.

Lovely place visited Sunday for the 1st time and it was excellent

Called in for lunch at this superb location overlooking Cromwell Lake. Just a few minutes from the centre of Brighouse towards Elland, but seems a world away with the view over the water. Service was good and the food excellent. Not the first time we've been here and won't be the last.

Food was excellent. Three of us ate there, was given a fantastic table in the window, We all had starters and we had the Classic Steak on the Rock, its a real dining experience rather than just a meal. James and Josh run the restaurant like clockwork and don't rush you to finish your meals either. Go, Eat, Enjoy 😉

We had our wedding reception here, all staff were magnificent 👌🏻 couldn't fault them. The scenes of the lake really made it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you

Absolutely 1st class service and food. I had my sons 18th birthday meal here, 27 of us . Food was delicious with not a single mistake of the large order , came quick and hot. All staff couldn’t do enough for us. Had the best evening in a long time

A strange location at side of a busy road but once you enter you understand why - amazing lake views. Staff always friendly, food always spot on Italian & you have a piece of heaven right there.

Absolute brilliant experience of cooking your own fillet steak on blackrock (you can also choose for them to cook it to your liking). It's not the cheapest of meals, but I'm a firm believer that you pay for what you get and you get a 5* service. I will most certainly be going again, for those that want to try it out from further a field they also have rooms that you can stay in.

First time going to Casa Brighouse, easily one of the best meals out I’ve ever had

Came for food beautiful place had high hopes for the food but wasn't great the started didn't taste of anything and the bread was burnt (had garlic mushrooms) main was bland and expected a bit more than what we got. The room was so smokey we had to open a door as we couldn't stop coughing and the staff agreed it was bad! Staff friendly

What a strange hotel. Initial bookings were stressful - some of us paid up front, some of us weren’t even asked for an initial deposit but assured we had a room. Many of us were told we had booked room 15. I’ve still no idea if breakfast was included or not - there was no menu and we were just asked if we wanted ”the breakfast” or not. Some of us were asked to pay for it upfront, some of us didn’t pay for it at all. I mean, the hosts were more than friendly - one of the men told us all that he worked there but was having a day/night off, which left us confused as to why he’d want to hang out at his place of work, but there we go. On arrival they told us our friend’s room didn’t have hot water. Although the hallway had ceiling panels that looked like they were about to cave in and a carpet that needed a good bulldoze, the rooms themselves were nicely clean. Well, my one was - my friend showed me a photo of her bed which had a mixture of thick dust and confetti all down the side. It was like the rooms hadn’t really been thought through, like, a kettle, but no plug socket near by. No cupboard/hang rail to put any clothes. No hairdryer. Certainly no space to open a suitcase. We randomly found out that the keys to each room work on every room, which of course is a huge safety breach. This needs to be rectified immediately. Nice view of the river and trees outside!

Some staff nice and helpful, others not so much. I was here for a wedding and felt that more could have been done. The outside area is amazing though and beautiful views across the lake.

We Visited Relatives in The Area on Sunday , Visited Casa Again and Had Sunday Lunch Option Sirloin Steak, Tomahawk Pork Chop With All The Trimmings Excellent Quality Food, Great Value, Superb Location Cannot Fault Anything

Been here a couple of times. Once for a meal and again for a wedding. The food is very nice and well made. Also the staff put on a great event for the wedding and had an amazing night. The room was very nice and clean. A little on the small side but well furnished and had a very nice bathroom/shower. Great views from the terrace overlooking the lake too.

Only ate location is epic , like something abroad almost classy. Steak on stone is impressive. Onion rings freezer bag... Pizza is hit n miss bar is good. Service wasn't 5 star nor food but would go again .

My son visiting me from Leeds insisted I took him for lunch. I'd never been and he had heard it was nice etc but OMG never again. They had one poor guy on his own trying to serve everybody. We stood 15mins waiting etc. The clientele almost drove me away to be honest. They let in all the local knuckle draggers and what looked clearly like drug dealers. Will never go back. Shame because sat outside in the sun with nice views etc They could have a super place. Had their casa burger which was nice a 7 out of 10 for food.

Poor service,downstairs bar closed on a Friday evening. Up and down the stairs to the bar, no waiter service. Then when you order your food to eat outside. They bring it to your table and tell you to get your own cutlery & sauces..never known that before. They're are cutting corners on service to save on staff wages..won't be going again.

We had a lovely meal. The seafood spaghetti was amazing. Service was excellent.

Strange place really. Tries to be quite smart, but has a mud car park and broken entrance step. Expensive drinks and food served by staff with no desire to communicate. Could be better, but not a place for me.

Food was simply beautiful with excellent service. Weather not its best but can imagine sitting outside in the sunshine with the picturesque view. Definitely will be back. Get yourself down there you won't be disappointed.

Shocking staff. Shocking owner. The fact the owner allowed wastes to flow in to the lake is one thing. The fact that he allows his staff to not care about customers is another. We won’t be back

This a great place, a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Nice polite staff and a lovely clean place. Nice and modern all about the place and it overlooks a nice lake on the back. I've had the luxury of staying here in the past and the rooms are nice, bright and clean. The breakfast was also lovely in the morning.

We went on Sunday with my wife son daughter in law and grandchildren. We all had Sunday roast. Beef lamb chicken . This really has got to be the absolute best Sunday carvery I/ we have ever had. Cooked to perfection.. taste out of this world and quality meat and veg.. real homemade gravy. If you get a chance to try this it's a winner every time. The management and staff are fabulous!! 5 *

Heard the food was nice from my family but the veggie options were bland and not many to choose from ,but what I was most concerned about was the boss as soon as I walked in within 5 minutes I see him talking to an employee like dirt, he even came up to our table and called them lazy! Waitresses were lovely despite him treating them horrible, kept a count on about 10 instances where he was horrible in my 2 hours there, twice right in front of my table, I’ve worked in this kind of environment and can tell it’s not just a little snap when he’s annoyed as it happened numerous times. Hire staff with experience and pay properly if you want perfect waitresses ,It’s a high pressure environment and their on stupidly low wages, and they’re probably burned out,your business isn’t their be all and end all, they were doing a great job! Give them a break.

Came with the family last night as my niece had booked for her birthday, food was OK but expected exceptional at the price they charge, restaurant manager was very attentive to us but noticed he was very rude to the waiting staff, don't understand why as they did a great job, they were very polite and helpful, amazing views but won't return in a hurry.
