Great market. Excellent selection of produce, especially fish, at good prices.

Fresh products, I recommend visiting

Fantastic. Focusing on the fish, meat and veggies, this is what a market should be like. Live shellfish, hung game birds, boxes of scotch bonnets, offal, massive racks of ribs... Selection of independent cafes and food stalls with lots of variety (with normal people, a complete lack of bearded hipsters serving sourdough pizza), Altrincham take note! Toilets free and reasonably clean. Parking is run by NCP and £1.80 for an hour; busy on a Saturday morning, get there early and use the NCP app to avoid the queue for the parking payment machines.

Good place to shop around for your bargain. Many stalls including places to eat. Limited parking. Highly recommend. Always busy.

Many people, many people! All kinds of people. Come, come, vegetables, meat, fish, shrimp, this is a busy market, this is the wet and dry goods market in Pingtong Daman District, there are too many people, so be careful with your belongings.

Time limited, but the fish market was excellent. Service, quality of produce, variety of produce all really good.

There are fresh fruit, seafood and meat stalls, and the newly opened food court has delicious food.

Nice place to shop for fish, meat, groceries and vegetables. Some are reasonably priced and some aren't. Do a round to see the prices first and then shop to avoid disappointment that you could've bought things you bought from other shops cheaper. Car parking is a mess during the weekends (including Fridays). £1.8 for parking is okay but not many people parks their car in a good way. Can expect long queues over the weekend.

Not the great market of old where coach loads of people from all over used to come.

Agricultural market, you can find a wide range of fruits and vegetables. Here you can also find seafood and fresh fish at a very good price. Also here you can buy oriental products, clothes, household appliances.

The variety of goods is sufficient and the price is reasonable. If I want to buy the goods, the quality is good!

Bolton market is a great place to shop. Best fish and chips in bolton pillings-fish-and-chips.com Good food court , Now people are coming from all over the world 🌎 at pillings. we have had a gentleman from Florida who brought his fiance into see us. This man is originally from Bolton in his eighty,s and still loves Greenhalghs steak puddings.

Authentic Malaysia Laksa available in the market I give full marks for this Laksa noodles.

Look, Bolton had a beautiful example of Victorian wrought Iron architecture in its roof and set out in stalls and old style market economy.... It really did not need to be bastardised into the mall type modern copy we have been left with today. No one is interested in shopping here and we haven't got the draw left now to pull decent stylish marketeers .. instead we have empty stalls and spaces to let , and it's the same all over town. Ruined by idiots .. complete lack of character and what we have has been trivialised into unremarkable uninteresting and unvisited shops.

Very busy market where you can get a variety of things. I got a very lovely thick blanket perfect for winter. I would also recommend for food items and protein shopping 👌

It's my home town and I'm sorry to say this but every time I go back home I am ashamed of the place. It is dirty and grimy and no-one seems to have any pride in their surroundings

The food is good, smaller than what we expected but the three stalls that we visited had amazing food and we all enjoyed it

The cockney veg guy needs to sort his attitude and customer service skills out big time, was very rude to an Asian lady that wasent needed them I asked if they had an item and got a very sarcastic and unprofessional response….. plenty of other veg stalls to go to so no bother

The traditional market is fantastic. Great food outlets, Chip N go, Grumpy Baker, Bolton Viking, all amazing.

Really good place where I usually get fresh fish and fresh vegetables; fruits. Its lovely to go there on a saturday morning. They new area for food court is amazing, lots of halal food.

The food hall is great. There are plenty of options. Some great stalls. Diy bits and bobs, Petshop, sewing/knitting shop, card shop and a bar serving a variety of alcohol if that's your thing

You can buy anything in here.well almost..fresh fish..meat..veg..even a bar...let the lady's shop and have a pint and something to eat ..result..

Fantastic fresh produce.easy parking

Terrible. Looks like a secure wing with a lot of tacky looking eateries with no sense of any design or class compared to Mackie Mayor in Manchester this is terrible. Uninspired bench seating and a building that looks like a bunker for 5 million quid, that made no attempt to complement the historic facade of The Market Hall. I fail to see how this is an asset. I didn't eat there as frankly it looks no better than a bus station cafe. The markets great but this food hall extension is terrible.

Food hall round meat ect needs to be alot cleaner not a patch on Bury Market for hygiene

Lovely clean well managed indoor Market. Masses of choice from multi cultural stalls with friendly and helpful traders. Cashpoint and customer toilets within building.

Very difficult to park. Took me almost 1 hour waiting in the traffic lights as it was full.

Good price for fish and seafood, fresh fruit and vegetables 🥕 I miss to visit the food court

Great value for the meat and chicken

Great range of stalls.Very helpful staff. Only downside is the parking fare. They now have new tickets machines which allow card payment. Just be careful with the parking app online as it charges the same amount but the ticket is only for 45 minutes and not a full hour unlike a physical payment at the machine.

The parking area is paid, but there is usually traffic on it for 15 minutes.

A one stop market , especially for African food. Very affordable.

Bolton Market used to becthe vest and cheapest place for everything, now its cheaper to buy in the supermarkets

A large indoor market with five areas inside, namely restaurants, fish stalls, meat stalls, fruit stalls and dry goods area. Maybe everyone can fulfill multiple wishes at once by coming.

Popped in to kill some time before catching a train. The market was busy and bustling with people and all sorts of things were for sale from fresh produce to fabric. There were also lots of small independent cafes and food stalls. I loved looking at all the unusual items on the butcher and fish stalls. A great experience!

Nothing like it used to be ,the new food hub, the prices are shocking

Went on a bric a brac stall day outside. Not overcrowded and plenty of parking had a nice morning walking round both the outdoor bit and the indoor market.

Lovely to see the fresh food stalls, piled high with fruit and vegetables, meat and fish. And lots of interesting colourful textiles. A great asset to the town. I was on a visit to do some family history.
