We were passing and subtly heard the 60s music so decided it was time for a coffee. A fun experience….lots of Bowie posters. Great music. Coffee and cake ( vegan) were excellent and service was friendly. When we return to Ventnor, we will certainly visit you again. Thank you.

We loved this cafe for its great theme, and lovely welcoming staff. The staff put a lot of love into running this cafe with great customer service, and the food is lovely and fresh. They have a range of exciting things happening on the weekends too such as bingo, karaoke and a Sunday roast! Very reasonably priced too, would definitely come back.

We had a couple of hours in Ventnor before heading back for our ferry. Ventnor has some small quirky independent shops, and good quality charity or antique shops, but as it approached 11am we thought we'd better eat before heading off. What a find!! The Carnaby Cafe was not actually open, but we were welcomed inside and the lovely couple running it finished unloading their groceries while we chose from a menu (made of old LP covers). We are vegetarian but that was no problem, there was plenty on the menu. I chose a jacket spud and hubby an omelette. While we waited for it to be prepared, we looked at all the memorabilia (taken us back to our younger days lol) and we could hear the omelette being whisked with a fork. Food arrived, with plentiful side salad (unexpected) and my jacket had a huge amount of mixed grated cheeses. I have a condition which prevents me eating salad so hubby scoffed most of that too lol. The couple gave us guidance on the best route back to Fishbourne, avoiding the traffic heading for IoW festival. I highly recommend this cafe! Value for money, comfy and friendly atmosphere.

we visted Ventnor on our way to catch the ferry home. We were looking for something to eat, and came across this place. we enter just before opening time, but were made very welcome by the staff/owners. I had omelette and chips and my wife had a jacket potato. The food was great and more than enough and good value. The place is filled with items from the 1960's and brought back memories of my childhood. The place is worth visiting if you are in Ventnor and going for something to eat.

As Aussies we are critical of coffee as our culture is addicted to it. Here we had a coffee we were amazingly thrilled with. It was a REAL COFFEE with flavour, depth, texture and truly made with love thank you Emma for creating the best coffee we have had in the entirety of the UK xx

As 2 places with the same name, so not sure if this is the same place we went to , near the police department in Newport. This cafe is owned by a super friendly and funny Irish lady who came there in the 90’s and didn’t leave. I’ve never had such a delicious breakfast, as the menu was so different. My friends had some favorites from Ireland and we were all so impressed. I asked her to come to Long Island and set up shop there. There will be lines around the block.

We visited on my birthday for lunch and it was very cosy and seemingly quite popular. We enjoyed tuna mayo baguettes and the crunchie milkshake I had tasted great and was fully loaded. The only disappointment was they didn’t have any chocolate cake which I’d set my heart on, so I opted for the next best thing which was a brownie. I would gladly return in the future.

This is world class ice cream, service and price. It’s getting harder to get decent service but this place never fails.
