Carlton Lounge in Brent

Curry was very salty. I read this issue in comments from others after going here. It seems this issue is not addressed. Not good!

The chef added way too much salt, every dishes are salty, so can’t really comment on the actual taste. If you like very salty food you can try this restaurant. You must add yougut to all dishes to balance the saltiness. They should reduce the amount of salt. The price are expensive compared to other India restaurants I have been to

I have been here a few times as they always show live boxing, and the atmosphere is decent, but really poor standard of food.

I ordered takeout. Really good. Well presented. Freshly made and tasty. Packaged well. I have just returned from India and was craving Indian food still. I ordered the samosa chaat and tandoori lamb chops (4) which were tasty and generous in portion size. My small negatives were that the chaat needed a little more flavouring from the chutney and more yogurt. The lamb chops were very spicy but good. Probably better to eat it at home with your hands so you can mess!

A very chilly evening but made our way to our favourite restaurant who serve in our opinion the best curry in London. The chef is amazing and the staff welcoming and always look smart. Lovely and warm when we entered and beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. I have a vegan Carlton lounge masala aloo and my partner lamb bhuna which is not on the menu but chef prepares for us. We had papadams to start which were fresh and still hot. A generous chutney tray. A nice pint of cobra. We are very lucky to have such a fabulous restaurant nearby. I go to lots of restaurants and to me it is still the best. Definitely we would recommend The Carlton Lounge.

A really friendly greeting on arrival, good seating and atmosphere, a great selection of dishes and reasonable priced, the food was delicious in taste & flavour with the portions large enough. A definite favourite which I hope to return on the future

We live locally and come here occasionally. The food is generally always good and tonight was the same. We had paneer tikka, chicken handi, daal makhani and the usual sides of rice/bread. Plenty for two people and it was a special occasion so we had some tasty margaritas to boot. Always consistently good. Also had an attentive waitress Jaimini

We visited Carlton lounge for my friend’s birthday we enjoyed lot and food was very nice and service given by Jaimini hardik and vaidik was very great and polite will surely visit again.

I write this after spending all night on the loo. It was my 1st and last time here, and I had a feeling it was going to be rubbish. 1st thing I noticed the menus are really old and covered in sticky fingerprints . We should have left then, but I foolishly thought, give it the benefit of the doubt. Food came up with in 5 minutes of us both ordering . Both our main dishes were oily and really salty ,although they were 2 completely different chicken mains, they both tasted almost the same. They don't do onion bhajee or mushroom. Overall, it was rubbish and was expensive . Both of us didn't much of the food because it was just horrible. When asked if we wanted the food boxed up to takeaway I told the waiter no thanks we didn't enjoy it. He then got the bill without asking why we didn't enjoy . At this point I couldn't be bothered to talk about it and I paid and left . Been o. the loo all night and all I keep thinking about were those filthy menus .Good luck if your eating in that place . Never again
