We have been living in harrow for almost 35 years. We were on our way home from shopping and stopped in this place for dinner. We ordered the crispy bhajyia, the tarka daal and naan and wow. The bhajyia in particular were a highlight, so fresh and tasty. The portions, the price and service were great! I would recommend going offpeak times if you can, service was efficient and the food came out so quick. Will a hundred percent come again. Other dishes looked huge and super tasty too!

My local area for 30yrs. One day returning from work i thought i venture my old habits to entering restaurants to taste variety of food from chefs around the world especially india. So i am in the Nasta house which serve starters and takeaway which i got to know. 5 tables half full. And I sat down on a February cold evening having visited the wash room and got comfortable to enjoy my evening of Indian Asian food. 3 female staff and menu on every table. My first reaction was a thali that I longed for. But obviously that was not available due to timing only until 3pm. So like I do I ask the member of female staff to choose for me any dish she desired which she gracefully did with a smile. But be honest paneer and certain items that are eaten regularly was not on my option of acceptable choice. Very attentive and hospitality they served me. I engaged conversation respectively with other customers and made everybody smile and laugh. The repeated request for main dish was kindly requested my staff to go to the main new restaurant few doors down was directed. I did! Again great service no queue and great hospitality and service and the prompt of service was gratefully appreciated. Can't fault the service and the atmosphere let alone the food served. Recommend to go to even to taste and experience if your in the area. Management staff venue and the food was superb. Great vibrant tremendous menu and delicious food. See for your self!!!

The food is very expensive and over charged . They have recently increased there price . The ambiance is very poor compaired to the price . The service is very poor and the owner will come to your table and will force you to leave even when you are eating he will stand in front of you and will start a conversation when you are not interested . I saw him telling my next table to leave as they had finished there food and the friends were having a good time talking to eachother and he was rude to them and told them to leave . I find that offencive when you are paying high price for the food you want to enjoy the meal with friends . This place is like you order eat and leave you cannot stay and talk . The floors are sticky and slippery and washroom is dirty . Please avoid if you can .

My friend and I had a walk around Kingsbury to check out the local options for lunch and decided the Bombay Spice looked the most clean and welcoming, and so it proved. The vegetarian cuisine is tasty and the portions are enormous. We made the mistake of ordering a starter and a main course each and ended up taking as much food away in a 'doggie bag' as we managed to eat - and both of us have healthy appetites. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. The restaurant itself is pleasant and comfortable. Lunch for the two of us cost around the £25 mark, but would have been far cheaper had we ordered sensible quantities. At least we had the added bonus of enjoying our takeaway food at home. Recommended. We are sure to visit again.

Kingsbury is full of Indian eateries. Bombay spice Nashta House is a somewhat glitzy, almost glamorous affair, very bright. It offers mainly snacks (I think they have a ‘proper’ restaurant a few doors down the road). And that’s what we had. I love Indian snacks, and it was difficult to choose. We settled on bagel puri, dahi vada, and surti sev khamani, all excellent. Service was prompt, the seating comfortable, the ambiance relaxed, and the price reasonable - what’s not to like?

We took our friends for dinner. As starters we ordered Chilli Paneer and Chilli Mogo. The portions were good but chilli paneer we felt they used tomatoes sauce which just didn't taste good. Also Chilli Mogo, the pieces were not cooked properly and edges of the pieces had thread left. Main dishes, we ordered Baingan Bharta and Malai Kofta. We were disappointed with Baingan Bharta and Malia Kofta, the portion was small compare to starter. As for taste Baingan Bharta was bland and had no chili and onion taste. Malia Kofta was very mild and kofta was just smashed potatoes. It had no taste. The service inside the restaurant was not very good as I had to wait a while for someone to see us. It was NOT that busy either. To be honest I would NOT go back again to Bombay Spice, Kingsbury, London again.

After telling the waiter to clean the table twice he didnt clean it and the staff are rude . The guy at the counter might be the owner didn’t give a s*** when I said am not paying for service charge as the service was shut . We were told by the waiter to keep quite even when others were making noise .. all in all a s*** place to have dinner wouldn’t go again . Worse ever experience for Indian restaurants. Shame on the owner who doesn’t put the customers first..

We found the panjabi i dishes lacked flavour and basic ingredients. They were bland and basic and priced at £8-£9 for that price people may as well go to places like blue ginger or Everest spice where you are guaranteed good taste. Even pau bhaji was oily and over mashed lacking flavour again (they need to try SKVP for comparison) . The chaat was better. But honestly feel it’s overpriced and additional they add 10% eat in charge. That is very cheeky as you can’t dispute it if you didn’t like the service as it’s not a service charge. I would say do t waste your money here. Instead go to SKVP in Harrow for chaats/ Mumbai dishes or blue ginger for panjabi ones or sakonis for chaat, Indo Chinese. This restaurant was previously Rose, which was a hundred times better in taste value and huge portion sizes. Wish Rose could come back!

Best Indian chaat in UK so far. It's a small family run business with such dedication, passion, love for food, good hygiene standards, pocket friendly. Feels like home-made food. Food was just mouth watering and satisfying. Expect a big queue, but the owner has opened a new restaurant few shops down the same street with more seating options there. However, the restaurant may not serve chaat. Visit restaurant for proper Indian home made meal.

We always look forward to our visit to The Rose and were a bit concerned that due to change of hands we might be disappointed, we were not. The food and service was excellent, I actually think I enjoyed my dosa more than ever. If you are a vegetarian ,vegan or a curry lover you won’t be disappointed. 100% Recommend Bombay Spice restaurant and will continue to look forward to eating here whenever we are in the area.
