Loved the venue but the food was not stunning. The 'special' open prawn sandwich was over priced and needed a bit of finesse in the presentation as it was a load of frozen prawns dumped on two huge slices of bread that 99% of the population could have produced. The cheese & cranberry quiche although ordered as 'warm' was cold and pretty solid with a thin filling not worthy of the price tag. Maybe the staff need to visit other cafes to see their expertise and presentation skills.

Visited twice in one day as it was so good . Very busy but very efficiently run , with great staff and plenty of space down in the undercroft. Also dog friendly downstairs! Food and drinks first class.

Lovely cafe in the grounds of Carlisle Cathedral. Great coffee. We also ate Cajun flat bread, soup and frittata which were all very tasty. You can sit outside, in the main cafe or down stairs in the vaulted area which also had an art exhibition. A special mention to the supervisor James who kindly came to my rescue and fixed my bike puncture. What a kind thing to do. Thanks James !!π

This cafe is epic. Really close to the cathedral so the setting is beautiful for a start. Clean and bright inside and the staff were warm and welcoming. Plenty of choice of light meals and snacks, cakes and coffees. They cater for vegans, gluten free diet and vegetarians with lots of choice on offer to meet needs. Tasty fresh sandwiches made to order with large choice of fillings and the cakes looked great. Coffee was great too and reasonably priced. We loved it and wished we were local so we could go back!

Nice airy, clean cafe with great accessibility, nice toilets and good menu. Very pleasant staff who work hard, serving hot drinks, snacks and light meals in a friendly professional manner. Can be busy at certain times and service can be a wee bit slow then. The experience is even better on warm sunny days as there is ample outdoor seat, right beside the ancient cathedral.

Staff were lovely, particularly the canteen staff. Canteen prices were exorbitant - 8.50 for a very standard tuna mayo baguette isn't sustainable. However the coffee was excellent. In the garden centre there were plants strewn around on the floor but perhaps they were just having a bad day (and no it wasn't particularly windy).

A lovely warm welcome as me & Benji-Dog walked in from a crisp, winter walk in the park. Dog friendly, humans welcome too! π Delicious food & drinks. I had a cappuccino & bacon barm to warm my cockles π π wheelchair βΏοΈ friendly & carparks on both sides of the park. Lots of squirrels & wildlife too!

If you need wi-fi then book elsewhere. Totally unusable. Got the Ultimate wi-fi with the Plus room and couldn't even log in. Went to reception for help (longest walk ever) and strangely it logged in there. Went back to room and nothing, said low quality and disconnected. Couldn't even use the free one, same problem. Reception can't do anything, just said sorry. Really feel for anyone staying with their work and needing to use it. Plus room was nice enough but the general feel of the hotel wasn't great, in need of some money spent I think, wouldn't stay again or recommend.

I have order quite a few things, and I always find the food to be nice and hot and very tasty.. The delivery person is always very polite ( one young lady even brought my recycling bags to the front door for me, which I found to be so kind as I have very poor vision ). I'd like to say a great big thank you for the food is excellent..
