Caribbean Wrap in Gloucester

Goat curry was laden in fat and tasted as though they had used a cheap curry sauce from a bottle. Used to be my go to place for authentic carribean food, but I will never order from them again. Just awful. Didn't eat the food. So that was £30 wasted. I would advise that they either up their game or leave the party entirely.

Portions was tiny, and food was dry, I’ve had from here before and the food would be so tasty, not sure what’s happened, sadly won’t be ordering from here again

Caribbean wrap provided all the catering for our 30 guests at our autistic sons 30th birthday party last week. The food was pipping hot and super delicious with a wide choice of meat and vegetarian dishes. The owner of Caribbean wrap went above and beyond to make the catering service fantastically organised and super tasty .

The peas was dried out so the rice and peas was way below average and then the boneless curry goat had no flavour, the meat didn't seem like goat and it was very dry I couldn't eat it

Would not be ordering from them ever again. The food was tasteless, the fish was from frozen it appeared. Seriously thus is a No CARREBIAN food at all. Beware!!!!!

Food was really great. The delivery driver was horrible! Despite me putting on the delivery note that the postcode does not take you to the correct address, and stating the location of where I'm staying with clear instruction. She calls me and says that I would have to come and find her because she's used the postcode to get to the location (in a very unprofessional tone). Needless to say this resulted in me refusing to come to the location as I had paid for delivery and she hadn't followed my instruction. (I also don't know where the post code took her because I'm not from the area). This resulted in the both of us screaming at eachother down the phone. Until she finally finds me. The arguing continued until she arrived and I educated her on how a post code works so hopefully the rest of you won't have to have such a horrible experience. It's such a shame that I have to base my review on the delivery driver because the food was very nice. I will not be ordering from you again.

Rude driver, I didn’t get any messages from restaurant that my food is coming, as a customer i was expecting a nicely conversation instead i got a rude behaviour because i wasn’t answering the phone “6 minutes ago”. Since i m leaving in a flat there’s no way i can hear the front door of the building. Anyway, i was expecting the food between 21:30- 21:50 like the webside states but i received a call at 20:30.

Not a fan of the rice . Definitely cheap rice that tasted microwave rice. Order 4 plaintain and defo not 4 prtions . Dumplings were perfect and curried goat OK. Small portion of stew chicken

Carribean wrap 2 DEAD FOOD YEAH!!! The rice was burnt there was no taste to the Curry Goat, The Guinness punch if thats what you call it was DEAD!!!! Won't be wasting my paper ordering from there again!! Next time I cook my own rasss Curry goat!!!!

This food is not authentic Caribbean. The food is substandard overall. Though can say lamb ribs and sexy juice are good. Rice n peas is disgusting. Flavourless. No coconut cream or salt added. Shop should invest in a chef that can deliver authentic Jamaican food on all menu items.

I've ordered food from just eat Then got phone call that they run out of boneless goat curry so I've said okay I will have boned one. When food arrived I was looking forward to it and grabbed dumpling it was soft on the outside but massive dry lump inside so I throw it away .. thought maybe not fried well etc tried 2nd one and it was exactly the same I've spoke to my friend as she told me about this restaurant...she said her own was the same not fluffy and soft as she ordered in same time... I've called restaurant to say was not nice and lady said they are all good and nothing wrong with them. Offered me money back for them,I've said is not about 1£ I'm just trying to let you know is not tasty like from other Carribean restaurants in town. Lady transfer me 1£ back last night. This morning I've received message from her :" Can you Google what Does the inside of a Carribean fried dumpling look like " I'm still shocked of what I've read and speechless... but there you are... I know where not to order next time... Regards... I've attached Google photo of fluffy dumpling and 2nd one of what I've been served.

I ordered at 7:50 and the estimated delivery time was 9:55 to 10:35 even though they were currently delivering. If I had realised it was such a long wait I wouldn't have bothered with this place. I couldn't get a refund so had to deal with it. I thought it's ok will just be freshly made honestly it wasn't worth it. Dumplings were lush and crunchy but the rice and chicken curry was far to salty and over cooked. From 4 carribean takeaways to 3 in Gloucester MUMS Juicy spice is winning followed by Reece's.

Food not bad quality but it was leaking out the tub everywhere which was a waste and just packed poorly in flimsy containers that were not sealed properly, the dumplings were lovely but the cake was dry and pretty tasteless

First time customer. Ordered online and food arrived on time. Delicious goat curry and generous portion. Wife assured me that the jerk chicken was equally as good. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was food delivered in old school non recyclable polystyrene containers wrapped in additional cling film.

Normally our favourite Caribbean takeaway but this time tried the homemade cakes again and just tastes like baking soda. Ordered twice and both times inedible which is said cause everything else tasted good.

I should have taken advice from google reviews! The food was terrible. There was 4 spoonfuls of rice and the curried goat was a curry sauce texture. The stewed chicken was small and boiled food bland. I will certainly won’t be ordering again when there’s hot and spicy and juicy ma’am’s .
