Food quality low. Patty was brunt. Dumpling and festival were dry, as if they’d been made days ago. Curry goat only provided with 6 pieces. Will not order again

I've just tried Stannys takeaway for the first time. Awesome food banging very yummy and tasty. The presentation how the food was delivered excellent. It's a long time coming for a Carribean takeaway in BD4 Good luck with your new venture Denise 👍🏾

I’ve ordered before and it was honestly lovely. I had to throw away the food I ordered this time after like 3 bites. It was not the greatest to be honest. The gravy was all watery and quite a bit salty. The chicken was a bit too too soft and the coleslaw seems to have been there for a while, it certainly wasn’t fresh. It’s a shame really cause the customer service ( the lady I spoke to on the phone) was very nice. Hope for a better experience next time x

Goat curry had little bones in. Chicken curry was more potatoe than chicken. Rice and peas bland. Dumplings are cold and hard. Food was not cooked fresh it was all served from a banbere (hot plate containers). Chips were only just cooked. Bill was £26.00 value for money no. Staff very friendly, but the place needs a good clean look at the stove that was filled with pans, but not using them to cook food fresh seems strange to me. Floor was dirty. Would I go again? No

I’ve ordered from here before but today the food was so bad I had to throw away the full bag. The wings were stale. The curry goat was so salty and had more bones than actual meat. I am really disappointed.

rice smelled reheated and not fresh. ordered a large and pots was half full, ordered patties and was send very dry fried dumplings. also ordered fried fish. definitely not Caribbean food in the slightest. avoid

Uneatable, tiny sharp bones in the goat also loads of fat on the meat, the sauce was greasy, and the rice was disgusting! Honestly gutted spent over £40 then charge extra £3 for some shredded cabbage.

I would not order from this restaurant, found a freshly eaten bone in my food any when I tried to call the restaurant they were very defensive, tried to tell me the chicken was falling off the bone,( that chicken was not soft enough to fall off the bone) I would have added a picture to the comment if it was possible. No customer service wat to ever.

The customer service is terrible. Found a freshly eaten bone in the jerk chicken. Plantain looked like it was 2 weeks old. We rang them and they denied it. They were rude and wouldn't let us voice our concerns.

Some of my food was missing, I phoned the restaurant about this, and the lady said she would deliver it when she finishes work which is over 4 hours later. And when I voiced that doesn’t work, she started getting rude telling me to “suck my mother” and hanged up.And then I man shows up angrily knocking on my door an hour later. Like am an idiot to open the door to a restaurant that tells me to “suck my mother “ . All I did on the phone was hang up, cos I paid for the order so the last thing I was going to do was stay on the phone whilst am getting yelled at. The food was disgusting. Couldn’t even eat it even a bite. I wish I could respond to the replies. I will keep editing with my responds. I will now attach the food still on the floor after days. As I couldn’t even eat it. I have been so poorly that I can’t even go bin it. You need to make better food and go on costumer service training.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Awful place, very rude man and woman, the lady was rushing us to make a decision on whether we wanted to buy our daughter the mac'n cheese because she wants to put everything in the microwave at the same time. Shocking to even have the nerve to serve last week's microwaved mac n cheese, let alone yell at paying customers, I will suggest you take a pick through the window before you enter this place, you will be made to feel like a nobody in front of your kids whilst inside this horror kitchen. The cook shouting at you for not closing the door behind you, that was the first sign to say, RUN, but often with kids very hungry after long travel you want to feed them ASAP. Having to do bank transfer whilst there's a working card machine was one of the other weird things about this place, perhaps tax evasion. In the end all went in the bin and as none of it was safe to consume, rock solid mac'n cheese as you'd imagine, strong pungent smell from goat curry, completely ruined our holiday. I am not sure if anyone eat in this place regularly, but I'd you do you're slowly turning yourself into a future scientific research for unexplained deaths. This happened 10 months ago(December 2022), but I still relive this traumatic experience like it was yesterday. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They forgot my fried fish again. The rice and peas tasted old and stale. Spoilt our daughters birthday she was unhappy. Owner defensive but brought over another 1 rice and peas and cut up fried fish. 4 rice and peas went in the bin that day.

Got curry goat today at Windrush festival and had blood in it. When I took it back I was advised by the chef it was cooked, he threw it away offering no alternative or refund. It cost £12 and put a downer on Windrush. The worst food and customer service I’ve received in the last 30 years!

Ordered brown stew chicken and stewed beef only problem chips were a bit cold and soggy but you get that anyway, dumpling and festival bit dry otherwise all hot and tasty would recommend

This was the worst meal I've ever had and certainly not true caribbean or Jamaican in cooked quality only the names of the dish but cooked wrong We are Jamacian from Montego Bay and usually daily cook our local dishes Very poor, salty, and wrong ingredients in the dish

Well all I can say I ordered this food for my father from Birmingham and he was so pleased with his meals he received even down to presentation. He also said how nice the delivery man was to him. I know you will be seeing him often at your shop. 6 stars to you all ,well done.

Quality takeaway food. Worth the 25min drive to collect.

Order took 2 hours. Curried goat was far too salty. Container Mac and cheese was in had melted into the Mac and cheese so was inedible. Clumped together in a block. The boiled dumpling was slimy and like play doh. Disappointed won’t be ordering again !!!
