Food was OK - expensive and really small portions. All the waiting staff appeared to just want to move people on as quickly as possible even though there were lots of empty tables.

Italian flavours, delivered "the local way", so poor, poor and overpriced experience.

Sorry, but this is a no-go. Once my favorite place, but obviously the staff changed: arrogant, unfriendly...

Really bad customer service from the rude lady, supposedly the ”main waiter”.

The server ignored us at the front of the queue and asked people behind us if they would like anything toasted, as we said we would. After letting her know, simply thinking an apology was coming, she made it out that it was our fault and continued to answer back. She said that there was no need to bring this up, and could not simply admit she was wrong and say sorry. She needs to learn the customer is always right.

£6.50 for granola, 3 berries, 1/3 of a banana stand wilted mint and a spoon of yogurt - a complete rip off! Tea was luke warm at best and the glass of water ordered at the same time as everything else came after we had eaten and only on being prompted. Dont waste your time.

No veggie/vegan options and we were told they were only taking cash payments so couldn't even get a coffee. Staff not great either.

Cold food resulted in soggy bread and sweaty cheese on a toastie, paid for an americano and the cup was only 3/4 of the way full.

Whilst standing waiting to be seated I watched the waitress at the reception desk flush with embarrassment when the man in front of me in the queue gasped at the manager growl at the waitress to give instruction. I almost had my meal swept to the floor when a pair of elderly gentlemen where seated in the cramped low table beside me when the restaurant was almost empty...? Gaining the other waiters attention was a challenge and, to top it all off the food was as cold as the service!!! I don't normally leave reviews but the service was appalling at Heathrow. The girls are too jumpy to give good service.

My experience was good. Good coffee, good apple pie. Nice service.

Tea was really weak.,pastry not fresh! Tiny espresso cup too small to hold for a cup of tea.Service slow then made no eye contact or smile and then raised eyes when I didn’t leave a tip on contactless payment. I had thought about leaving a 4 pound tip ( on a 7 pound bill!) because I am leaving the country and don’t need the coins but I took it off my table after that rudeness. I think Tips are for outstanding service, this,I am sorry to say ,was bordering on rude!

What a disaster.... Server got us 2 glasses with our drinks and they were dirty ask him again and brought the same glasses dirty!! We order chicken burger and it's was just okay for 13 bonds and home made pasta was a not home made pasta and I order it with basil as you see in the picture one piece only I mean wow.... Don't lie to your cutsmers and please clean your place

Stay away from latte. It's just straight up milk with a slight hint of coffee. Shouldn't be called house of coffee at all. More like house of milk.

One of the worst Italian restaurant in the world. The pasta’s taste was super awful. Pls don’t order the paste, super sour. I told manager that pasta was so bad however he doesn’t want to apologize me. He was like what don you want to do? I was very disappointed. Never come back. Not professional. I work for restaurant as a head chef. They have to lean how to cook food and services.

Stay away and save your £’s. They don’t care about you....dirty table from the day before, dry bread maybe freshly baked...several days before. Sick and tired of places like this acting so poor and ignorant towards their most important ressource...the costumer. Would I go again? NEVER!

I always come to this place when I fly from terminal 2. There are a variety of delicious breakfast options. The Focaccia bread they use is delicious! The place can get very busy at times but if you get the chance to be served by Jatin then you know you are in good hands- he is warm and welcoming and carries himself in a professional, friendly manner. His customer service skills coupled with his good attitude and efficiency are commendable. THANK YOU JATIN!

Two poached eggs on a focaccia bread, lightly toasted, with crispy bacon. Can't beat that! A nice place to sit down, relax, and grab a quick bite while waiting for your flight. An of course an Earl Gray tea to keep me going. Thank you Jatin for contributing to the wonderful experience. Professional and kept a smile on his face the whole time! Thanks!

Unheard of not to accept credit card in this day and age. And not to be stated clearly on front entrance . Food not bad, but nothing special.

Only 2 stars because the manager ( who pretty much works alone! ) Cold ‘hot chocolate’ for £5 ==> ‘it’s cold because of the cream on top. Well.. :D Full English breakfast with some bacon from yesterday and dry bread.. just what you need for a relaxing flight. Useless staff, overpriced and freezing cream on top.. be careful !

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions when travelling via London Heathrow Airport and have to admit that it is my favourite restaurant to dine in. The food and drinks are fantastic and the staff are extremely personable and helpful. I find it's a great place to go when I want to leisurely relax before a flight and/or work. Alistair, in particular, is a great member of staff and is always very cheerful and makes diners feel comfortable and happy. Overall, this place is a great eatery to go to before a flight - highly recommended!

Ordered Italian bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Got toasted brown slice pan bread??? Balsamic vinegar soo gloopy and a almost half full glass of prosecco. Would not recommend place. Pity expected better

Over priced and poor quality!! Portions sizes were very small. Juice was good but also over priced. The coffee was hot but tasted very average. I had the avo and eggs and it was quite average. Asked for a side of Benedict sauce which lacked any flavour.

Kids eat free, but as un-kid friendly as possible. Sat down with a 13month year old, while waiting for the high-chair our waiter seated 4 other guests. Service was so bad we nearly left before we even looked at the menu. The staff are rude and unhelpful. Food was wickedly over priced. Will never eat here again..EVER!

I will never go there again! Food and Coffee was actually good but when service is poor everythig else losing them quality... I been served by some Indian guy - Bazilious . For first I been waiting to płace my order about 25mins, when i finish my breakfast, upon 3 request he finally bring my Coffee. I asked for hot milk with americano, but I get cold instead and didnt even bother my waiter to fix mistake as i thought its gonna take another half an hour. Forget that! The worst thing was unfresh sweating smell of my waiter,! I understand hard job which they do but I also think in that kind of buisness service should look smart, and smell some nice perfumes not sweat! It was disgusting experience! Menagment should start take care of this buisness !

Never had such friendly and professional service. Alistar was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and although he was busy everyone got five star service. He is a wonderful asset to the restaurant will definitely be back .

Very bad experience. Upon entering I was seated at a table squeezed in between many people. Asked if I can sit at any of the other free ones but “no, we don’t serve there”. Didn’t bother to ask why the tables are there then...Waiter didn’t look at me when taking my order. Didn’t have tap water because the filter is broken but would charge for still water, so didn’t order a drink. Food was highly disappointing and 100% microwave food. Burnt on the side, no taste and piping hot. Had to wait ages to pay even though waiter saw me turn around and look at him. Had to walk around the bar to pay as needed to pay by card. Never again!

Absolutely poor customer service. I want to sit and waif for the flight with a drink, but in 20 minutes I was given a bill and asked to pay right away. Felt like kicked out when I'm finished for their business. Beware, and don't go there if you want to be chilled and relaxed.

Excellent service with great quality food! I had connecting flight through heatherow terminal 2 and have to find out the best restaurant for my breakfast and lunch. After thorough browsing at airport I found Cappuccino restaurant is the best in every aspects. Food menu has great variety and quality taste food . Margaret was great and humble person who serve the food. Overall very pleasant and highly satisfying experience. All thanks to Margaret

Had a coffee and cake at Ca'puccino at the Heathrow.. They have reasonable variety of food and drinks, service was good as well as the staff..

If you want to sit and chill with a coffee and a cake before a long flight... don't go here. If you want to listen to the guy on the bar shout and swear, then go here Had a tiramisu which was nice. Had an ice lattè which was not nice. For the level of service and quality, it is over priced

Comfortable place waiting for transit. Menu not clear to some people. Service slow when you are hurrying to a flight. Otherwise it's relaxing.

Probably unfair to review as we were refused service as we only wanted coffee and desert and not dinner. Unpleasant, rude staff.

Gutes Café im Heathrow Airport. Den vielen negativen Bewertungen kann ich nicht zustimmen. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich, die bestellten Sachen wurden schnell serviert, und danach wird gefragt ob es geschmeckt hat. Der Cappuccino war sehr gut; das Tiramisu im Glas und die etwas eigenwillige englische Version einer Schwarzwälderkirschtorte mit viel Extra-Sahne haben auch sehr gut geschmeckt.

The worst service ever. They don't give even water...

No prices on menus. Disorganised. Confusing. Not relaxing. Not ideal for a Departure Lounge cafe. Eat looks more appealing.

Staff was Rude, and hating their jobs.

Located in the center with comfort seating and charging stations. Ordered a classic carbonara and the aroma of crispy bacon make it savoury. Warm service and food was served in about 10 mins. Great location to watch the passerby.

Had a long wait both to order, then for food, which arrived before the drinks. Eggs benedictine was cold and focaccia wasn't fresh. I did eat it as I had a long journey and didn't want another long wait for a replacement. Not that anyone came close or checked on my meal, so without getting up I was unable to bring it to the staff's attention. Had to ask twice for the coffee and the bill. I felt that I was paying for the ambiance rather than the food. On the good side, the cappuccino was worth the wait and actually had the required 1/3rd froth on top.

Bad mannered staff, overpriced and so not worth it. £1.50 for a tiny pastry case which someone has clearly spooned jam out of a jar and sprinkled a minimal amount of chocolate flakes on it.

A lady with an Eastern European accent gave us the rudest customer service I think I've experienced anywhere, absolutely ripping me a new one in a very rude tone for (inadvertently) sitting down before I'd ordered, rather than doing what I was apparently supposed to do and ordering before taking a seat, positively shouting "You can't sit there!" and yanking my bag off a seat. (The place wasn't full.) When I suggested that it could have been resolved simply by politely asking us to order at the counter rather than being so rude, she ramped it up by saying "this is my tone, I can't control, if you don't like, too bad - you going to order?" We didn't. Went upstairs to the Perfectionist's Cafe and had what I'm sure was a better meal, anyway, accompanied by good customer service!

Salmon, minestrone, and spinach/quinoa salad provided a proper send-off from London Heathrow.

The food is good but the staff doesn't really know the products. I spent a minute reading the board with their various baguette sandwiches offerings then I picked up 2 from the list and tried to order. The waitress was helplessly trying to find them in her fridge. Then, she asked which ones I want. I stated the names again but she wanted me to show her the sandwiches in the fridge. But as I don't have an X-Ray scanner in my eyes, I can't identify an already made sandwich. To simplify the equation, I lowered my expectations by asking for 1 single sandwich. Another waitress came to help but was as helpless as her colleague. I was considering leaving that comedy when a waiter came in and he quickly grabbed the sandwich I wanted. It seems he is the only person there who knows what product is what. Also many cold drinks are in glass bottles and they must be poured in disposable plastic glass. As I don't see myself going to the gate then boarding while holding plastic cups, I decided to cancel the cold drinks too. I understand the security concern but why selling drinks in glass bottles at all in this place? So went there for 2 sandwiches and 2 cold drinks and walked away with a single sandwich. Not too bad but I won't come back next time. Considering the service and that the sandwiches are not made to order without any transparency about when they were made, I think that 2 stars is an appropriate rating for this visit.

This sunday 23 September i Ca`puccino in Heathrow Airport, terminal 2 Lots of free space and tabels, and i wanted to sit there, but was told that the section with the nice chairs was close and i could only sit in the outher row out to the open departure hall. Asked the waiter and he said he was alone......so he could not also serve in this section.....!....extremely bad service, he refused to let me sit there......i left this non-service plase at once.....don`t go there!

Really good coffee and toast after an early flight.

Very poor customer service. Stood waiting for a table, with no other customers. Completely ignored by staff, so seated myself. Ignored for a further 20 minutes until I ordered a coffee, which took another 15 mins to arrive. Bear in mind, the cafe is around 10% full. Not sure how they managed all this. Serious management needed.

Honestly, missing the basics: level of hygiene inferior to zero, flies over croissants, pastries, and all the food on display.

Classic poor service. One of the best things about this outlet is their hot chocolate. Awesome! Sadly, the machine in the take-out section was broken. So I went to the restaurant side of the same outlet to buy from there. Their machine was working perfectly. An arrogant hostess (didn’t get her name, but Asean ethnicity, slim, short) told me they don’t do takeaway. She failed to apologise, offer any sense of service empathy, or even bothered to look at me. Having worked 25 years in the restaurant business, had she been my employee, she would be top of my list for retraining or firing.

The food quality is good and tasty, just what you need for a long flight. Nice selection of paninis and light italian snacks. Worth a try.

Just OK enough for an airport restaurant. Service was good and the selections of breads was nice. As was the coffee. Pasta with prawns was not great - not really hot enough, just 2 prawns on top and 2 tiny pieces in the sauce. Sauce was tasty enough. Small portion but the pasta was chewy, genuinely undercooked.

Seriously slow service. Mean portion sizes. Way overpriced. Had to reorder several times they kept forgetting things. While it would never be somewhere i would go in the real world, it's the best of a bad lot in the queens terminal in heathrow

Had a surprisingly good pasta dish here for lunch, and the loose leaf tea was excellent. The portions were a bit small but it tasted so good that I didn't care. I'd been awake for nearly 24 hours after a slew of flight delays by the time I made it into their restaurant and my meal was exactly what I needed to make me feel slightly alive again. The service was quick and courteous and I would eat here again if I'm ever passing through Heathrow.

Rubbish service and miserable staff, cooked breakfast food is cold and patisseries are stall. Avoid avoid avoid.

Embarassing food. Had avocado with water cress and poached eggs. Cress rotten, avocado old, brown and slimy. Did not eat it, disgusting - and did not pay it. Stay clear....

Not very impressed by the pasta. But quick and nice personnel

First of all, the lady seating people was quite rude when she essentially yelled at my wife that there was a line waiting to be seated (There were a bunch of people crowded in no formation whatsoever reading the posted menu at the main entrance and this turned out to be a 'line' so she yelled at my wife when we walked in and tried to sit down at a table). We were planning on getting paninis, but apparently they were out of those (they told us as we sat down, at 1 pm, I.e. at lunch time when sandwiches are most popular so how the heck do they plan their stock/menu?). We left. I therefore can't comment on the quality/taste of their food. I just know our experience was unpleasant.

Horrendous service: slow, not attentive, not helpful, and generally just standing around doing nothing while ignoring customers.

Usually come here and am happy about everything. But this time, not so much. Staff is cold and unfriendly, ordered the omelet and rosemary potatoes, the omelet was cold and smelled like a wet dog, the potatoes were also cold, way too salty and soggy. complained, still had to pay event though the food looked almost untouched. After l left I had to go to the bathroom and throw up. Not very happy. The juice was nice.

Good service but pasta undercooked

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Seats and tables are extremely packed. Although the restaurant was just 10% full, I was placed just somewhere without being asked for my preference. I ordered the express menu (3 courses) and a still water. I received the desert first by some waiter (not the one who took the order). It looked as if it was prepared hours ago. The minestrone was not really hot yet hotter than the main course (Carbonara) so I started with them. The carbonara sauce tasted like canned food. The bread with the Carbonara was dry. I never received the still water.

Some of the best espresso I've had while on the go. And the staff was attentive and very polite. I recommend and will stop by again the next time I fly through Heathrow.

Iced coffee with milk alternatives makes me happy. Staff were quick to seat me and bring my drink.

Worst Mocha Ever. There was almost no chocolate, was primarily thin milk, and was told that it "is" Mocha. Look for coffee elsewhere.

Panini hot on the outside, chilled on the inside, really poor.

Seems like the server was more willing to serve the people who ordered more dishes and whom were European. Food was ok too, nothing exceptional (slightly bland). I only ordered a the new baked eggs (no drink)

Worst cappuccino I had this year

Staff is slow, especially at a busy airport. Waiter just demand order, did not ask if anyone wanted drinks, nor explained the menu. Place should be replaced based on all the other reviews.

I enjoyed my coffee here this morning, although would have preferred a little more fruit & granola in my breakfast bowl. Staff were pretty friendly - no complaints!

One of the worst coffees I have ever tasted. I literally threw it straight in the bin and went to Wonder Tree.

Incredibly slow when I visited - would expect to be worse under load (it was only half full). Food was ok - nice cakes and juices as well as decent coffee. 15 quid for a cake, juice and coffee is ridiculous and way overpriced for what you get - but it is Heathrow, so you kinda expect it.

Wonderful ambiance, croissant was good. BUT espresso had no cream, and they have no idea what beans they are using (!). Since I came in hoping for good coffee, the 2 stars are well deserved.

Íbamos con dos niños, nos preguntaron si íbamos a comer o no, porque si no comíamos nos enviaban al café de al lado...comer, pues igual si una tartita con el café... si me dejan ver la carta. Per essere un ristorante in aeroporto può passare. Hamburger buono non eccelso. Patate fritte buone. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Dolci molto belli. L'unico problema è la musica italiana sottofondo. Ah ah

The portions are really small although the food is pretty expensive. We had ordered a house hot chocolate and got a normal one. Even though we told the waitress that she made a mistake she didn't confess it and we got neither the item we wanted nor the money back. All together the food was ok but the staff was not really friendly.

Dirty cups, weak tea... 2 stars only because I could charge my phone at the table...
