New Wing Luck in Hillingdon

Before writing this review, I questioned whether it was the right thing to do, potentially damage a local business's reputation as there is always room for improvement. Sadly I think this restaurant may just be past that point and I feel obligated to warn other potential customers before parting with their hard earned money. I've ordered my takeaway from New Wing Luck for several years. It's a local restaurant that has generally delivered good quality food. Recently, I made my usual order, the food arrived and there was a lack of care in every dish prepared. The King prawn curry was a mess, the source appeared as though it had been cooked days before, frozen and reheated. No taste or flavour. The crispy chicken was cooked too long and over seasoned to mask that very fact. Bonus, a piece of chicken had a hair in it, just want a diner is seeking. The crispy duck had some nice parts, but as a whole wasn't great and seemed as though little attention had been made to create even a moderately passable dish. Most of the food went in the bin, due to the poor quality and for the sake of everyone's digestion. My only positive experience, the delivery driver was polite.

Waited over two hours for my food. Wouldn’t mind if I had ordered a lot but only ordered chicken chow main egg fried rice chicken balls.

Ordered food at 7.15… qouted 40-60 minutes…. Chased delivery at 8.45 to be told that the food was not even being prepared!! Cancelled order… why accept order ? Amateurs

Just had a delivery. ordered fillet steak Cantonese style and it was braising steak as tough as leather I no what different steaks are as I own my own butchers shop phoned to ask why this was sent and she kept putting phone down on me we have used this take away for over 20 years now and it will be the last time

twice now I have ordered dry bbq ribs and both times they have sauce on it when it's wasn't ment to have any. and when complaining to just eat about the order being wrong with proof they go with the shop and say it's not wrong when the receipt clearly stated ribs to be dry.

Chicken in curry was hard and chewy couldn’t eat I just had sauce..fried rice was nice and pancake roll was good

food was amazing, however took over 90min from ordering for food to be delivered and had to call for an update.

We''ve been looking for a new chinese to use and came across this one, which is local to me, on just eat. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try. The food was very nice, the best chicken balls! The delivery was much quicker than predicted, which was great for us. We will definitely buy from here again. Thank you 😀

Chicken curry sauce way to thick

Really need a decent chef, food is a bit touch and go, was alot better for a while now seems to be slipping again. Batter on sweet and sour balls always soggy, and crispy shredded beef always seems to be chewy rather than crispy

One of the best go to places for Chinese food around West Drayton. Fair priced, good portion size, and to the point taste. Highly recommended.

Overall very good quality food as always and very good price but also excellent service. Yes delivery was late but at least I was called by the restaurant and informed but also if I wanted I could have collected which I appreciate.

Almost broke my teeth chewing the beef - got there and still had to wait 10 min for the food why tell me it is ready to pick up? Also don’t bother getting the set meals they give you two slices of chicken! 1 star is too generous or a review. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!

Amazing food😍 its been a long time since ive enjoyed a takeaway. In the last 2 years ive moved from south to east and now here in west. Best chinese ive found in that time! I am now going to be a regular. The prices are normal they arent taking advantage of current price rises like other places. Im about to heat up leftovers because this cant be wasted 😍😍

Ordered at 18.09 . Received food at 19.50. When ordering said 45 mins delivery time. Once ordered it changed to 1hr-1.15 mins but waited just shy of 2 hours for my food.

Speedy delivery and top tasting food. Generous portions too. Would reccomend.

I had requested a delivery as soon as possible, they arrived a little earlier than they first estimated which was great. The food was delicious as always.

The salt and chilli squid was so hot my family couldn't eat it even the chilli chicken wings were too much.These use to be our favourite on the menu. Shame but the rest was lovely.

Best sweet & sour pork I've tasted for a long time. Great char Siu fried rice too. Also, lady on the till was friendly (you know how rare that is in these takeaways!). Will definitely order again.

The food is not the best but since it’s close by so it is convenient. They charge all the customers in cash only which is very surprising. I’ve been to this place for take away a couple of times but yesterday when. I told them I lost my wallet and if they could charge me with card this one time assuming that’s not much I was asking for the lady denied. She went running to the kitchen and asked the chefs to stop preparing my order and asked me to leave and that they can only take cash and nothing else. I even gave them the option to transfer in their bank accounts but I’d say she was very cold and did not wanted to do any cashless transaction.

Great food as always, barely had time to shower before it arrived! So fast!

Noodles came wrong , called back and they gave me 3 options to message just eat and say missing, or redleiver or add on to ext order they said they will delivery the new noodles and swap for the old j said that’s fine. They still haven’t done that so I’m requesting a refund.

Love the food and staff. But they really do need to invest in card options for payment, or to extend their services on just eat.

We always say ‘no prawn crackers’ but still receive them? Disappointed not to get any peas in egg fried rice. Chicken balls were superb and it was all delivered piping hot.

Delivery guy is great, I wish justeat would have the option to tip as I don't have cash. Food has changed, curry was extremely greasy and literally a few shavings of meat in the spring roll. Prices have gone up but ingredients don't reflect the price.

Ordered food, waiting for an hour, check to see where food is and I'm told the order was cancelled. No reason and no communication. Avoid avoid avoid.

No good customer service.anytime I call new wing luck in west drayton the cashier always give mi attitude.and I always do take out or delivery.but anytime I call for delivery only attitude and she cutting off her phone on me .I will never spend my money in new wing luck in life again

Terrible customer service! Will never order there again. The woman at the counter looks so miserable another woman came out wiping her nose from the kitchen.

Would not recommend, most of the staff are rude and try to rush you. If you go for the all you can eat option which is not that cheap don’t try to order more than 2 items each on starters ( small portions ) you will be greeted with “ you don’t eat all we charge you full price ). Small portions and a long wait between courses. Ended up having to go to bar to ask to be served.

Made my order on just eat to my hotel, delivery was 5 minutes drive, my order was accepted then 1 minute later cancelled so I rang restaurant and they said my post code is to much hassle to get to...

Arrived at 19:00 for collection but ended up waiting another 15mins. The 20min collection time was double in the end and we may have just gone for home delivery of 50-60mins

I’ve been going here for nearly 10 years, the food here hasn’t disappointed me. The food is fresh and it tastes amazing ! Also, the service here is really good! The prices are decent so it makes a great option for a nice takeaway.

Shame u were a great choice for a take away but suddenly you’ve put all your prices up and sadly we won’t be buying from you aromatic lamb has gone up by £4.00!!! That’s just one of the dishes gone up! I understand prices are going up but that is ridiculously high! One take away costing over £45.00 something we can not afford. Please consider keeping your prices at a good price and you’ll have more customers!
