Ocean City in Hillingdon

We ordered a takeaway. After 75 minutes I rang ask where it was and it arrived five minutes later. My wife found the sweet and sour to be too vinegary and my prawn dis was mainly vegetable.

ordered from just eat from this restaurant the food arrived and when i opened the food it was swimming in oil, i took the oily layer away and there was no taste to the food very bland :(

Food is good!! Delivery times vary, sometimes it is super fast - sometimes it's very slow! Usually fast though. Overall happy with the food and service.

I've used Ocean City many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent with a huge selection including many Thai and Malaysian options. Delivery is reasonably fast and they deliver over a wide area. Highly recommended!

Very good selection of dishes to meet most peoples requirements. Busy place with ordering available via phone or online. Not tried home delivery but collection is usually around 15 mine.

Over an hour and three quarters , three phone calls , no food , they couldn't contact the driver? Cancelled the order and will never use again. The orders in the past were frequently wrong! Shame as the food is good.

This place offers such a range of dishes you cannot go wrong. Would definitely recommend! Great speedy service too.

The Chinese food here is generally of very good quality, it is expensive..., they do offer free delivery over £20 orders... a decent takeaway.

I was surprised that this restaurant was not listed yet here before, because it is very popular on other sites and within locals. I wanted to eat some Chinese for a few weeks, but with a closer takeaway restaurant I did not have too much luck (see my other review on its profile), and although this one had only 3-4 stars on other sites, I thought I gave it a chance. Well, it received 3-4 stars because of the delivery time- which can be long and delayed, but nobody complained about the taste or food. That is the very same what I experienced. I ordered my food around 18.30pm and they confirmed back to receive it within an hour. About with 40 minutes delay I received my food - but at least I received- not like with the other restaurant (mentioned above). True that food is not really cheap- it is not really budget, but portions are huge and I ate it for 2 days. The taste is the 2nd best I experienced in my life from Chinese, everything was nicely cooked and crispy what had to be crispy, pipe hot with the usual prawn crackers+fortune cookie. I was happy with them, and I can highly recommend them. They cook for collection and takeaway- as far as I know, but good price and very good taste, worth to try.

I wished Chinese spices for a while and when I did not have luck with a closer one, I thought to give a try to Ocean City. However as far as I know they cook only for takeaway, and some ratings were not the best in other sites: mostly about delivery time. But at least their food is praised everywhere. My experience is that they were late 20 minutes for sure - that is why 4 star. But they did it much better than the above mentioned other takeaway restaurant, which rejected my order once, then second time they did not take anything to the house:P So compared with them Ocean City at least delivered my food with a little delay. Although prices are not the cheapest, but they have wide range of food, some Japanese, Malaysian, Thai and lots of Chinese of course. My food was very warm when delivered, and crispy what need to be crispy (noodles, spring roll, vegetables). I was happy with my order, and to be honest I am surprised that they were not listed here yet when it is very popular by the locals and listed on many takeaway directory sites. Can pay by card and paypal, too, and also cash of course. There is a small fee for delivery (£1.50 was in my area). Also Takeaway directory sites work in different way, while one showed that minimum order is £20+delivery charge, the other accepted £15+delivery. Worth to check for the best deals. The usual prawn crackers was received with the food (for me it is wasting as I am vegetarian), and a fortune cookie:) Portions were huge, so be prepared with room for food:) The only thing I miss the soy based veggie 'monk meats', they should add some of them to their menus. Hopefully in the future. I can recommend them, even if has to wait a little bit more.
