Edit: Sadly after 14 years of custom I will not be returning. The food became inedible and disgusting slop. The new owners took something good and successful, and ruined it entirely. Goodluck The food is good but isn't as good as it used to be, the egg fried rice is sometimes oversaturated with soy sauce when ordering takeaway, or a separate portion to a meal. They've changed the sweet and sour sauce they use on the Hong kong chicken dish, which is a shame, as I preferred the previous, and the chips aren't cooked as well. I've not had noodles since the new change of owner so I cannot comment on the noodles. I feel some cuts have been made to the quality of products used. Or perhaps a different chef, I'm not sure. One waitress/server is very lovely, very friendly, and I enjoy going when I see her, she's a great asset to the restaurant and I hope they appreciate her. Another waitress/server can appear to have a bit of an odd attitude, and hasn't been most accepting of my disabled daughter. Which has put me off from going as often as I used to. When discussed with other friends who have gone, they know who I am talking about when I've said I've felt put off. So I assume this is just generally her personality. Overall the food is still better than most local Chinese restaurants, and I'd still recommend going here (mostly). I hope that no more changes are made. As it has been a restaurant I have gone to for around 14 years now.

I'm not too sure if they have changed ownership but honestly the food is not up to standard. We ordered Hot and sour soup, instead we got a sweet version. Absolutely horrified with the first spoon. Chicken soup was full of salt. Salt & pepper squid was burnt. Won't be returning anytime soon.

I have never been disappointed with this place. The food is always hot, very tasty and good value for money. I very rarely go anywhere else unless I'm in bexleyheath then I go to China Gaga

This unit is now new management. Its very very poor. The food is pants, terrible. Soggy sweet n sour chicken balls. Taste less veg soup. Tasteless mix fruit juice. The old chef!! Let the old chef teach you how to cook, for this community. If not, you will soon be bankrupt!! Rubbish, rubbish!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 Sorry!!

Came ladt year for first time. Very impressed. Food delicious. Service great. Very reasonable. Coming back tomorrow Sunday 4th Feb 2024. Can t wait.

This used to be good but it has gone downhill. Last time, after a long wait, we were served dishes that varied from cold to lukewarm. To be fair, they were replaced. This time, we again had a long wait after placing our order. while a series of Uber Eats delivery persons filled their bags. The first appetizer dish was finally brought to our table but no plates or utensils. Again, we waited. Then we got some dishes and eventually, after discussion with the staff, the last one, sweet and sour pork. It had four pieces of fatty pork and watery sauce. I complained but was told I had eaten most of it. We had tried two.pieces and spit them out. We paid the full bill but won't go back.

Food was good and price was good. I didn't get what I ordered, but it tasted ok. Also ordered a drink which was also wrong. Got my food about 10 minutes after the rest of the table, so they had to wait for me to finish.

Came to eat here as I used to all the time a few years ago. It’s gone so down hill. What on earth are the ‘gyozas’ covered in oil - it was nasty. Left unhappy and not full.

Great food, nice staff and reasonable price.

We had gone there before and the food was great so decided to ho back there was nine of us. It was such a disappointment the special fried rice was terrible we sent it back. I think the cook got upset because half the order came out when others of the party had finished others were still waiting. We won't be going back there which is a shame just when you think yes we enjoyed our first visit.

Was one off the best understaffed know food prices have gone up which i get but postions are smaller food came out all diffrent times no apology ffom staff 8 of us went 7 had finished before my meal had come out

Quite a large group of us (9) came here for a pre Christmas meal and meet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious with large portions, and to top it off very good value too, will definitely be back

This used to be one of the best noodle bars you could find unfortunately since the new owners have taken over the food is tasteless portions are very small and it is overpriced for the quality. AVOID !!!

Excellent food properly cooked quickly, the amount you get is amazing, the staff are great also, so if you want a Chinese meal and eat a lot then go there

Have been going to Capital Noodle for over 20 years and the quality continues to be very high. Its a great space for birthdays and has a very large range of food for everyone's palate and dietary needs. Took some of my work colleagues here and they can't get enough of the place. Mum's fav is ribs in black bean sauce with green peppers and boiled rice, while I love their bbq spare ribs, sweet n sour chicken balls and mixed meat noodles.

We've used this restaurant many times. Always worth a visit. Same top quality each time

This is an excellent albeit simple restaurant. It has nothing to envy to fashionable central London expensive venues where they treat you like walking banknotes and serve you bad. Here you have a smile, good quick (not fast!) food, with a well described choice and excellent taste. We come again and again, always the same good quality.

I really don't like writing bad reviews my husband and I have lived in the area for the past three years, always like to eat out in the local restaurant to help local businesses. My husband and I have eaten here a few times but always thought okay let's give it one more try but our last visit was definitely our last. The food is awful, I'll be eating Chinese half of my life and this place has to be the worst. It's really cheap I give them that but the food is tasteless! The take away next door is 100% better go there instead.

Very bad service no chop sticks also they charged me to use my card to pay. I will never ever ear there again. Also I'm sure there is illegal works in there H&S should visit and emigration should do the same.

Been here a few times with friends, who suggested it. It's not the lovliest part of town and, from the outside, the restaurant doesn't look like anything special. However it's very clean inside and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is the usual noodle bar fare but done well and very reasonably priced. A lot of these places can really pile on the salt, which isn't great for anyone's health, but this place doesn't seem to do that. I'll definitely be going again.

We go here very very often! Best Chinese in plumstead by far! It's only a shame they don't deliver but I love dining out here. Green tea is gorgeous too.

Everything there is to love about a restaurant in South East London. Very good food, very (very!) generous portion sizes. Friendly and efficient staff and very cheap. It does not look like much from the outside but if you want a cheap and good noodle bar, this is the place.

I've been buying food since this place opened a good few years ago and this is my second complaint I went there ordered king prawn fried rice only to receive 2 prawns in my rice and flavourless food I complained they refused to replace my meal I will never!!!!! Buy food from them ever again I found the manger very rude appalling customer service big thumbs down from myself and my family

Have ordered food several times from this restaurant in the past. Generous portions reasonably priced. Wide range of choices in the dishes offered. Tasty food. Food sometimes too oily as my taste changes to healthier eating. Staff friendly and efficient with a personal touch to customers. Popular in the area, even to the police. Restaurant area basic and not very attractive for eating in.

This is a fairly typical noodle bar. The food is fresh, service is friendly, and prices are good. You're not going to come here for a really special occasion, however if you're looking for somewhere to hang out with friends or for a takeaway it's perfect.

We are never disappointed with this take-out. Great choice and the possibility to order a generous size dish with rice or vermicelli or noddle for around £5 makes it really affordable. Service is rapid and courteous. Eating in is great too: although the simple decor is more appropriate for a family quick meal, than a romantic diner or a special night out.

Used to work opposite this restaurant and have had many lunches and evening meals with friends and work colleagues and takeaways. I still get my takeaways from here even though I moved further away. The food is always hot when we get it home. Food is always v good for taste, menu is varied without being over complicated and it's value is second to none. Decent parking at all times. It's the same staff from when they opened. Love this place. In fact getting a Takeaway from their tomorrow (17th May) for my birthday.

This is one of the nicest Chinese eateries in Woolwich and Plumstead. Overall, the dishes are very well made, well seasoned, fresh and in generous portions. The restsurant itself is very clean and pleasant to eat in and the staff are nice. A gem of a restsurant in the area.

Great place to get takeaway, food is very reasonably priced, you get loads, it's tasty and comes out of the kitchen with (almost suspicious) speed. Not much atmosphere in the restaurant itself, overly bright lighting, community center feel to the furniture.

This was my favourite place to eat out when I lived in Plumstead. The food was always amazing from crispy beef to deep fried squid. I must have eaten there over 40 times. Friendly service and great people.

if you are looking for a clean comfortable restaurant that offers good value food then you have found it .. No thrills in terms of restaurant but always clean and the staff are always pleased to see you but i have never had a bad meal in this place and i have been going for years .. GIVE IT A GO

This place reminds me of a Chinese McDonald's, they have very fast direct service. The staff pretty much ask what you want and bring it out within 5-10 minutes depending on what it is. The food is great though, we had a number of different dishes and all have individual tastes unlike some Chinese restaurants. The food was well flavoured and the portions were huge. I got a take away tub I had so much left.

I met my daughter here for lunch as she'd been a number of times, and although I work in the area, it never occurred to me to go there.The restaurant is on the corner of the main road and there is ample parking in the side road. I had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised, as inside, the room is large, with ample natural light from the dual aspect windows, and simple but tasteful decor. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. The staff were friendly and the menu extensive. It was difficult to know what to choose, but I always end up going for Ho Fun (wide rice noodles). To me, if Chinese restaurants offer this, it is a sign that the food will be more authentic.We were able to have a lovely long catch-up, in peace and quiet, whilst enjoying the delicious food.It is great value, and I envy the people who live on the adjoining estate, as I think I'd be eating there most nights if I lived there!Not in the most salubrious part of town, but well worth a visit.

This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. It's in one of the poorer areas of London, it's in an ex pub transformed into a simple plain Formica place, and is not pretending to be anything more than a no-frills eatery. The fact though is that the food is very good, from noodles fried in non greasy oil, to the suck which is truly crispy and with excellent vegetables. The choice of drinks is classic including tiger beer and other good brands, and the price is stunningly reasonable although you need cash, no CC accepted. An excellent choice, worth the walk up from woolwich arsenal.
