Strange place. It states on website that it is permanently closed. We went here with two grandchildren. It really was so quiet. Only one other diner. Food was excellent but when we came to pay the waiter told us the machine was out of order all day. It meant we had to go and look for an ATM..

We ate here on 04/09/19 and it was very good. Cocktails were bogof which the wife was happy about! We had the set meal which was great value for money. The staff and service were great and very helpful. We actually came across this place by error but glad we went in. We would definitely recommend and return.

Came here late August and was pleasantly surprised by the generous amounts they give. We highly recommend the mango salad and spring roll rice vermicelli!

Admittedly my last lunchtime visit wasn’t as good as expected. The beef curry was too sweet for me. Perhaps that is usual and I should’ve checked. My knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine isn’t as good as for others. Another try I thought. This time, a total winner. I ordered noodles with lemongrass chicken and chilli. Hopefully the picture does this justice. Bursting with flavour and I had the option to add the sweet chilli to the level I wanted it. It all went on! The plentiful array of salad ensured I felt I had chosen a super healthy option. A large basket of prawn crackers and the set lunch cost £6.80. The total bill including a drink and service charge, £9.68. This quality of food, generous portions and friendly, helpful staff must surely make this the best value lunch deal in the area?

Finally made a trip to the Queen du Vietnam following the transformation from the previous Turkish offerings. Having been to Vietnam, we were cautious about walked away convinced we have a good place around the corner offering yummy Vietnamese for a decent price. Those who have been to Vietnam knows it's mainstays are the fresh ingredients and the PHO (primarily noodles with beef and amazing tasting consommé). Here, Queen du Vietnam did not disappoint. We had both the traditional beef pho and Hue spicy noodles. Both were really good with the latter having enough of a kick to satisfy. The only comment I would add is the beef could be more tender. I recalled having had umpteen beef pho in Vietnam that the beef has always been extremely tender..but this is me nitpicking. For starters we shared the meat roll set...all were amazing. Others: portion size is good; service with a smile; tables and toilets are clean. Highly recommended.

We’ve been here a few times since it’s opened now, the food is amazing and staff are really friendly. A great menu with a good selection of veggie food, which is always fresh and delicious. Potions are big and it’s greasy value for money. The veggie sharing starter is outstanding. We’re lucky to have this gem in Greenwich.

We decided to give this place a try after Zaibutsu across the road was full and we didn't regret it. We went for the 20pp set menu, the highlight of which was the mixed starters - battered squid, a papaya salad and fresh spring rolls with prawns with a peanut sauce on the side. We had the stewed catfish and stewed prawns (pictured) for mains which were fine but lacked the 'wow' factor of the starters. It was all good though, the service was friendly and attentive - I hope the denizens of Greenwich support this newcomer!

Chose to have dinner here after being bombarded with adverts on social media. Didn't feel positive about the food being good , but that was not the case at all. We were delighted with the range of entrees we shared... Great authentic Vietnamese flavours. So happy to have a good Vietnamese in our local area ( walking distance) They have a special offer that if you eat there you get a 15% discount on your next meal... This space a former pub has had a couple of reinvents in the last 7 years, both of which were disappointing .However Queen du Vietnam has changed that we will be back.

This restaurant was recommended to me but I would not recommend it to others. It was the early May Bank holiday. The sign on the door said "Closed" but there were two tables occupied so we went in. The starter of chiliand garlic squid was not bad though there was rather a lot of heavy batter. This was followed by a chicken and vegetable rice bowl which came to the table immediately after the starter. It was bland and the only vegetables were peppers and onions. The staff member at reception was perfectly polite but almost always had his head down. It was impossible to make ourselves understood to the waiter who came from the kitchen. I ordered a glass of Chenin Blanc and was told there was none but was offered Sauvignon Blanc - it was clearly Chardonnay but the polite receptionist showed me a bottle but the tatse did not convice me otherwise. I really would not recommend this place. The lavatories were not clean and there was no toilet tissue at all. As for the name, why call it "Queen du Vietnam"? Surely it should be "REine du Vietnam" or "Queen of Vietnam" the current title is ridiculous.

The atmosphere is so relaxing and calming, the staff and music were cheering us up. Couldnt ask for anything else better than this. We had an amazing experience. The restaurant wasnt quite empty so the staff were extremely attentive. Tu was very quick briefing us through the entire menu, pointing out all the recommended dishes. Then, she offered us to start with some prawn crackers, spring rolls and drinks. The Mojito and Fizzy Prosecco tasted so fresh and spring rolls delivered authentic taste. We went for spicy beef noodle soup, rice rolls and some Crab fried rice. The portions were filling enough. They all looked fabulous and tasted even more amazing. We had a lovely chat with Naomi whom we believed to be the manager. She was very friendly and our extended family loved it here. They were so drawn into the conversation with Naomi and we had a very good laugh. Everything really scintilates at this place. Service was well good, would definitely recommend it to this whole world of people. Just come pay a visit and Im sure you'd love Vietnam and Vietnamese food even more.

Rather disappointing as the stir fried noodles with beef was insipid and unimaginative with lashings of sliced onions, grated carrot and bean sprouts. Onions seemed to be the favourite vegetable of the day as our starter of battered squid also had huge dollops and the next table had two dishes with this omnipresent veg. This reminded me of the cheap eat-all buffets offered in Chinatown. Service was not attentive- perhaps this was a bank holiday with part time staff, but there’s room for improvement and the use of less onions.

We recently stayed at the hotel adjoined to this restaurant and we had both lunch and dinner there. The décor and atmosphere is lovely and the service we received from the main waitress was so delightful (I think her name was Ellie). In fact she was the main reason we returned for dinner the same evening. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel like we were locals and not first time guests. My partner was running the Marathon and she asked the chefs to make him something light and nutritious which they did. The food was so fresh and delicious. If we lived closer we would definitely return! THANK YOU
