Have to say this is the best Chinese I've eaten in a long time. The crispy chicken in garlic and butter was delicious. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks 👍

Best Chinese on the west side of Woking! If you are on the east side of Woking, try SO's Kitchen, then decide which you prefer. I love them both!

Have used them a few times now and on all occasions have had no issues. Food is always piping hot and tasty. Reasonable prices £10-£13 per person plus 10% off if you collect and pay in cash. Tiny car park outside but have always managed to get a space every time.

Food was not right, called them and just get told to elsewhere.

Good food, as with most takeaway nowadays a tad expensive, but one of the better ones.

They have not changed their increase in prices on the menu advertised on the window as yet @

I recently ordered chow mein from this Chinese takeaway, and I must say it was a horrendous experience. The dish was far from the delicious chow mein I've had at other places. I regret wasting my money and appetite on this tasteless disaster. First and foremost, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, resembling a sad, gooey mess. It was as if they had been sitting around for hours before being sloppily tossed into the container. The texture was unappetizing and left a strange aftertaste in my mouth. The vegetables in the chow mein were a joke. They seemed to be a mix of wilted, sad-looking pieces that lacked any freshness. I couldn't identify half of them, and the ones I did recognize were either undercooked or overly soggy. It was clear that no care was taken in selecting quality ingredients. To make matters worse, the flavour was utterly bland and lacked any depth or complexity. I couldn't taste any seasoning or spices that are supposed to give chow mein its distinct taste. It was a monotonous, one-dimensional dish that left me craving for something more satisfying. The portion size was another disappointment. For the exorbitant price they charged, I expected a decent serving, but instead, I received a meager amount that left me hungry and unsatisfied. I could have easily prepared a better chow mein at home for a fraction of the cost. Customer service was equally disappointing. When I called to express my disappointment, the person on the other end seemed disinterested and dismissive. They offered no apology or willingness to rectify the situation, which only added to my frustration. In conclusion, I strongly advise against ordering chow mein from this Chinese takeaway. The poor quality noodles, lackluster vegetables, tasteless flavour, stingy portions, and dismal customer service make this place a complete letdown. Save your money and go elsewhere for an authentic and delicious chow mein experience.

This Chinese take away restaurant owner needs to Learn on how to respect the customers, food was even worse. Never visit this place again.

I Order food online line and went to collect the food that was meant to be collected in 15 mins took 30mins, they could find the order dispite showing them proof of payment. The lady on the till was not friendly, she is rude to the customers.

Would give zero stars if it were an option. Have been using canton for years, ordered for my wife & i, upon opening the soup we ordered was almost congealed & the tofu was dried and shrivelled putting us off eating the meal. Took the food back for a refund, the "manger" tried to only refund me the 2 dishes my wife ordered not the whole meal. Didn't apologise at all & tried blaming me for his loss of stock. He eventually & very begrudgingly gave me the refund & told me never to use their service again & I might try and steal from them as that what I had done! Will not be using again!

Food was ok, nothing spectacular, delivery would have been better if they'd actually delivered the right order. Pork is definitely not duck.

The most tasteless jellylike beef curry, I’ve ever had I’ve had Chinese from hundreds of different restaurants. This literally was less flavorful than a can from Lidl. Overpriced, poorly prepared Stale prawn crackers too Went here a few years ago, used to be good I thought maybe I just got unlucky, so I visited three times in a row 3 separate days terrible every time

Definitely gone downhill. Food late, cold and they messed the order up. Won’t be going back.

The food is delicious as well as the price are average. My fav is the chilli fried wings and mixed fried rice. I would recommend!!!

Very good we tried a few in Woking and tried this randomly. We were pleasantly surprised by the portion and taste it I was delicious and we will tey it again tonight. Will update if good might become our local Chinese 🤤 Update: had it twice it’s delicious !!

Is this place under new management? We have used the Canton for years and it has always been amazing. However, we have ordered twice in the last 6 weeks and will not be using again. The food is definitely from a different supplier and not up to the previous standard. Some of the dishes we have had have been cold and greasy which we have never experienced here before. Very disappointing.

Have used previously but last night ordered a box of food for me and my mum. Ribs and chicken satay were very weird and chewy and couldnt eat the rest as had not even half a plate and ended up being violently sick mymum got terrible diarrhoea. Called yo make comments they were rude yold me it wasnt there food will be contacting trading standards

Fast service, reasonable prices and good quality food with a wide ranging menu and generous portion sizes. One of the better Chinese takeaways in Woking and definitely worth a visit. The coronavirus precautions - an impressively constructed screen barricade between customers and staff - seem to be a bit on the heavy side and remind me of a 1980s bank.

We have used Canton for years now. Originally picked up but last few years delivery. Has the business changed hands? Nothing was the same. Prawn toast soggy and overcooked. Seaweeds were ok. Chicken in salt and garlic were not good. Hardly any onion or spring onion and wonton soup was tasteless. We are not returning unfortunately.

Received our order and specifically asked for no chilli. But the beef was definitely cooked in chilli rang and asked for another one without chilli and it came exactly the same as the first one. Does this restaurant understand allergies? They were not bothered they could kill someone with allergies please be careful when ordering here if you have allergies they simply do not give a damn

Simply the best Chinese take away in the area Having tried all the take always offering Chinese food in the area within 8km’s this is simply the best. Really good tasty cooking and excellent value. Their Peking style duck with pancakes yummy. Tried several dishes for the family and all declared fab. Thoroughly recommended.

I have visited the canton Restaurant for 20 years. On my last visit I ordered a chicken chow mein. The food had sand in it and was crunchy on the teeth, i can only think this is a food hygeine issue. I threw the food away and will not be returning to the Canton. Very disapointed Chuan Tang

I have lived in my flat in St.John's for a good number of years, i have tried many Chinese restaurants and they have been average at best. That is until i tried this place, food was excellent, i had the ribs with salt and chilli, normal pancake rolls which were divine and chicken with mixed vegetables and egg fried rice. All very tasty. Very very impressed. .

I’ve been coming here for years and I love the food. The people are amazing and I have never had a problem with food coming quickly or my order not being completed properly. The ribs are nice, the prawn toast is always crispy, the rice is really nice and and the mushrooms and pork is always really nicely cooked and I love the sauce. The duck and pancakes are always crispy and the sauce tastes amazing. Sometimes there are not enough pancakes but I always keep some spares at home though so it’s fine.

We will not use them again. Three times they have forgotten to send something we ordered- twice they forgot egg fried rice and today they forgot the sweet and sour sauce. The food was greasy, salty and very bland. Don’t waste your money.

We have lived in Knaphill for most of my adult life and Canton in the last 10 years has been our firm favourite. Food, service and friendliness has always been excellent and I would thoroughly recommend using them.

Food great ordered several times no problem phoned order with 3 hours notice today to be told they wont deliver to us if they are busy what's that all about very disappointed

Disappointed. Had no flavour. Chewy not crispy beef. Ribs not appetising at all, threw away, had no meat on them just covered in fat. Shame.

Having lived locally for 10 years, this takeaway always delivered fantastic food, and great service. Our son, now 10 has always loved going in there and ordering his favourite dishes, talking to his favourite lady and now as we are moving away, his last request was one more meal from Canton. We will miss the warm friendly greetings we always get, and will ensure if we’re passing we will pop in to say hello - and get a some delicious food

I had some friends staying unexpectedly and needed to come up with a tasty dinner quickly. I ordered a take away from Canton and was blown away. Quick service and great tasting food with generous portions. All round great value and will use again.

I was beginning to think I had to go to London if I wanted a decent Chinese takeaway. The food here is fresh and tasty, the lady who takes the orders is very cheerful. This shop is keeping the locals happy as its busy most nights. Keep up the good work, don't change.

Big Chinese food fan so have tried many. Used to go to Canton year ago but fell out of love with it as the quality dropped off.Happy to report its just as good as it used to be now having recently had 2 Chinese takeaways from them in the last month! Highly recommended!

First time order due to a reccomendation. Was really disappointed. Maybe we just chose the wrong stuff but what we did choose was very dry. Ribs deep fried and dry. Prawn toast not the best had a weird old taste. Seaweed had soo much sugar in we couldnt eat it. Spring role was lovely the highlight of the mixed starters. Unfortunately main meal didn't hit the spot...all quite dry. Shame as the service was great from a takeaway point of view just not the food on this occasion.

Just ordered from here for the first time after moving into area and was very impressed. The food was quickly prepared and was very tasty. Although an error was made during ordering they were happy to make up a fresh dish. Will definitely be getting more food from here soon!

Merely so-so Chinese takeaway fare; an improvement on the Chop Suey House, but that's not hard.
