Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Half price drinks 4-6 pm. Best garlic prawns in Leeds. Near the station.

This restaurant quite clearly serves 'home' food and is managed by a family - the flavours are pleasant but not mindblowing. This is a good place for a casual lunch once a week for your colleagues, the prices are very reasonable and so are the portion sizes!

Food was very plain and dry and took a VERY long time to arrive. Had to douse sandwiches in mayonnaise as that what was only available. Very overpriced for what you get and the service isn't too friendly. Didn't get half our order unless we asked where it was. Paid way too much for this. Location was brilliant but wouldn't recommend.

We were really looking forward to this restaurant but we're so disappointed. :( the chicken sandwich was bland and the bread was so hard- chicken just tasted boiled, the server didn't write our order down and forget the toddlers chips so she ended up having to eat ours until we asked again. Server wasn't very friendly. Two of us ordered breakfast all day Gambos and chicken wrap and it was said to served with coffee but we never received this until we asked and the server told us she didn't know so had to check. Prawns aren't deveined (we know that's upto some people) but couldn't eat certain parts. Wings were however very yummy and the potatoe starter you only got two small balls so not worth the price nice outdoor seating but wouldn't be paying over 50 quid for the bland sandwiches and two tiny starters again. We noticed two men walked in too and ate some food and went outside and chucked their food away. They didn't seem to pleased either. Sadly won't be coming again.

Always great food and service Mix Brazilian and Portuguese ( and all Halal) I strongly recommend this place for families and couples

We’ve visited a few times since the lockdowns began, as takeaways of their tasty Portuguese specialty dishes were available, sometimes with their refreshing sangria. On different occasions we’ve enjoyed the steak sandwich with chips, the squid with rice, garlic shrimps and the pica-pau stir fry, with the vinho verde or refreshing sangria to drink. We like the retro location under the railway arches, with the sound of young skateboarders in the little park nearby, and occasional train overhead. This seems like healthy food, and the al fresco option has reappeared sine April 12th, 2021.

We ordered takeaway meals to collect on Saturday night. The food was cooked fresh for our arrival so it stayed hot and it was absolutely delicious with big portions too. We both had the Picanha Acebolada and starters of Pão, Manteiga, Azeitonas e Pâté. I would definitely recommend a visit any day!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant! My wife who is Brazilian and has lived in Portugal for 20 years said it’s the best Portuguese food she’s tried in UK. And she is not wrong the food is quite exquisite, the people who work there are extremely warm and welcoming. I can’t wait to comeback to Leeds to visit again!

We should have been in Portugal this week but covid disrupted our plans. Instead, we thought we'd bring Portugal to Leeds and enjoy a meal here. The food was great and we enjoyed vinho verde, port and pasteis de nata. The owner was lovely- we had some great conversations and it was fantastic to share our love of Portugal with him. They have fado playing in the background and it was great to feel like we could be in Portugal. We will definitely return here for a relaxed, authentic meal and to feel part of a family-run Portuguese restaurant in the centre of Leeds. We hope to visit the Lisbon version one day also! Our meal for two was magnificent - Nossa refeição para dois foi magnífica Traveled from Manchester to Leeds just to sample the delights of the Cantinho do Aziiz. We were never disappointed as I have sampled Portuguese food before in such countries as Portugal, Madeira and the UK. "Fresco Dining" this evening was not an option due to the outside clement weather so we opted to dine inside. The "Super Bock" was chilled to perfection not to mention the bottle of white wine. Choice of our starters was amazing, large prawns served in a garlic sauce, freshly baked bread, fresh chilli dipping oil, olives, tuna and sardine pate. Our mains was even more stunning consisting of princess chicken with a piri piri sauce and a sizzling steak served on a hot plate, all came with rice and chips. There was no room left for a sweet, just another bottle of super cool "Super Bock"!

Amazing food and great atmosphere definitely recommend. I had the beef a azir which was fantastic . Also the sangria was amazing . Definitely recommend.

I have eaten here for lunch a couple of times and have always been impressed not only with the food but also the friendliness of the staff. However, when ordering using Uber I was very disappointed, it seemed to take forever, then the delivery guy phoned me but couldn't hear me, then I was advised that he could not find my house even though he had my address and as it turned out was in my street. The food was not as good as I had previously experienced. I would probably eat here again for lunch but wont be ordering a takeaway again.

Greeted and welcomed by the friendly Aziz, my wife and I had a lovely luncheon enjoying the A la Carte menu and a most wonderful Sangria. We shared a prawn starter - superb! My wife loved her main meal, the fish dish with a combination served in a creamy sauce (we can’t remember the name). I enjoyed my Peri Peri chicken, very tasty. The restaurant offers wonderful Portuguese food with a Mozambiquen twist all prepared and cooked by Brazilian chef, Jeny. The decor is minimalistic but don’t be put off, the food makes up for it.

traveling I spent in this restaurant and ordered really fantastic garlic shrimp loved it !! I recommend !!!
