Choessi Ajeossi in Leeds

Decided to go on a Sunday lunch time. Food was ok. Normally get the bbq which is amazing but got meals from the menu. Slightly disappointed. But still ok. Tteokboki was ok with cheese not really spicy. The omurice was literally a thin rolled omelette over ketchup covered rice. I guess I'm spoilt and used to the soft scrambled eggs messy over rice. Would go back but just for the bbq. Kids didn't really each much as didn't like the taste.

Lovely place It's not posh or fine dining,but it's great the staff very informative she gave us recommendations,the food very tasty and authentic We will come again

This rice cake noodle taste disguisin. Not meant to be this dry and salty. Very bad customer service as well. Will never come back again. And when the food come it’s not even hot it’s only warm.

I've ordered Korean Fried Chicken takeaway from here lots - I'm addicted. It's always delicious. Most recently I had a chicken and beer set, with Honey and Garlic chicken and a bottle of Cass. The chicken was so fresh and crispy, and perfect with a cold lager. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu when I can wrestle myself away from the chicken.

Very good food which we all enjoyed and finished everything, but the service was slow and we had to ask for the drinks order to be taken. Do recommend for the food but not the service, much work to be done with improving the attention of the staff.

This was only our second Korean meal and we don't understand it yet. We ordered four dishes which we thought were two starters and two mains and they arrived in what seemed to be a random order. And we also hadn't read the menu properly. When we did, everything was as advertised. This hasn't put us off. We now have a better idea of what to order and, hopefully, on our next visit (and we do intend to return) we won't make a similar mistake!

I came on a Wednesday night and it was extremely quiet. I ordered the sweet and spicy fried chicken and it was absolutely delicious, some of the best Korean Fried Chicken I've ever had. I also ordered the bulgogi, which was pretty good but the chicken was the real stand out, would definitely go back for it.

I love Korean food But This restaurant is worst I ever had Definitely chef is not Korean It is not Korean food Just can’t manage at all even 1spoon I am so hungry but I can’t even touch it

I’ve been here before and it’s been fine but tonight there felt like there was no communication between the kitchen and staff. We ordered maybe 7 dishes and one came out fairly quickly but the rest were no where to be seen an hour later. Why was one of my dishes delivered without the rest being ready? Awful communication it would seem.

The food, service and atmosphere here are really great. Definitely one of the most authentic Korean restaurants I've been to outside of Korea! The BBQ pork belly was excellent, as was the fried chicken, and it was all washed down with bottles of Cass and soju. Definitely recommended.

Visited as a last minute meal out in October. We were late to our booking because of traffic but they still managed to seat us and were really kind. We got Korean bbq that was super cheap compared to normal but was so so tasty and so much came with it. Would definitely recommend getting the beef bbq platter with some sides of rice and kimchi. Total came to only £40 all together! Amazing value for money And the best Korean food in Leeds.

Really really good. Service was pleasant, funny and attentive. Food was excellent, lots of flavour, spice and plenty of variety on the menu. The Beef Bulgogi BBQ was amazing, meat quality was really good and you get tonnes for around £34! Will be back, perfect for couples or a group of friends. We may have ordered way too much because the portions are very generous and we wanted to try loads of the menu too!

Korean food is the same as what I had in Korea before, and finally found such a good Korean food in Leeds. Five-star space and service points. I will come back soon

This place is not authentic korean food. I ordered the Korean fried chicken and many pieces were raw, I let the waiter know and she offered for a new portion to be made. But it was still raw in the middle so didn't end up eating much of it. Plus the chicken batter itself is not Korean style, even the KFC chain taste better. Not sure what they put in the kimchi soup but it tasted off and salty. Plus, they bring the food up from downstairs (a Chinese restaurant) , up the stairs and best the main entrance where loads of people and cars are going past. Seems a bit strange and unhygienic, in todays circumstances.

Went for the amazing spot last night and the food was excellent, especially the fried chicken! The best Korean food we have had. Lovely Service as well. We’ll be definitely coming back.
