Bridgewater Arms in Leeds

Went to bridgewater arms today with a table of 12.. The staff were very accommodating & polite even having to wait for food as they were very busy considering the school holiday! They did everything that was asked by our party & stikk kept coming to the table & making sure everyone was ok in our party. Food came hot & not a complaint throughout! Very tasty.. Would recommend to anyone for a visit wether quick pub meal or big party booking like we did. We will deffo be returning & thank you for all your hard work & service! Xx

NICELY PRESENTED AND SEASONED WITH THE RIGHT AMMOUT OF PEPPER ALL THOSE I DIDN'T ASK FOR IT THAT WAY IT WAS GREAT! TO MINE AND MY PARTNERS TASTE. WHAT'S MORE MY AUTISTIC DAUGHTER DOESN'T AND WILL NOT EAT MEAT APART FROM THIS RESTAURANT ! MY DAUGHTER ĹIKES IT THAT MUCH WE WILL BE MAK8NG THIS A REGULAR THING AS A FAMILY. I WANT TO METION JORDON AS IT WOULD BE UNFARE NOT TO BUT AS IT IS THERE IS A COUPLE OF STAFF I HAVEN'T MET . THE CHEFF WAS SO EXCEPTIONALLY TALLENTED AND TOOK TIME TO ASK HOW I LIKED MY FOOD HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR. I COULDN'T PRAISE 🙌 ANY MORE BECAUSE I WOULDN'T WANT IT TO EFFECT ANY THING I HAD WITNESSED. This was one of the best meals i had eaten for sometime in leeds at cardigan fields. With out been potentious or big headed i had eaten all around the globe in my life in stard restaurants. Nothing quite like it for the price. Also seen a few famouse guest when i have been there today was no different. JOSH had served us well as a family a few occasions one been my partner's birthday in October when he came out singing happy birthday to my daughters mum . It was a brilliant experience and 1 i shall never forget . With a nice fudge cake for her with happy birthday on it . If i had anything to say what had changed in the several times i had been was the onions with the steak were done in a different way and were absolutely wonderful 👌 compliments to all. Came for food and a drink while waiting for friends to finish at an arcade center ordered food service eas good and the food was excellent

The prices for the alcohol was really good don't get me wrong but a bit disappointed in the way I was judged today. I've recently turned 18 and still look fairly young however I had my ID on me to buy me and my friends drinks. The person at the bar looked at my provisional 3 times and kept saying I looked 12, however didn't ID my mate with me. I get she mightve been joking but it felt a bit rude to me.

Myself and my husband have been here a few times, but on Friday 24th January had food. The service was really good as anything we asked was made clear by a lovely young girl called Megan, she was so helpful and very friendly. The food was excellent especially the steak and ale pie my husband had, if you visit the area would definitely recommend you go to the bridgewater Arms.

The male toilets had Faeces smeared across the walls my partner came back from using this facilities mortified. While waiting to be seated we was waiting in the que for 30 minutes as there was only 1 bar staff on the bar. The double doors leading to the playground Park Kept slamming and Banging every time a child or parent was coming in and out of the building. This lead us to move seats to the other side of the building to avoid this nuisance.

Good pub grub with some great meal offers at the moment. Great value food and drinks

Been before about 7 month and was very disappointed but came today and the new manager has turned things around and the food was alot better will be back soon in the future

First photo is what food I ordered, second is what arrived at my table and there was a twenty minute wait? Why did it take twenty minutes to put nothing on a flatbread? Not a hint of salad or even any pico de gallo. If you’re out of those things, fine, but why the hell serve it to me for £8 damn pounds. It even got worse, the halloumi was literally cold and my friends chips and corn were all stone cold. And in terms of the actual place our table was sticky and every single table surrounding us had dirty plates and cups, with hardly any customers in at the time how hard could it of been to clear up some tables. They sat dirty for the whole time we were there. Literally awful.

Mine and my dads burger was burnt, the chicken my sister ordered was burnt, they forgot my mums steak when I know I ordered it. All they could do was apologise but that's my family dinner ruined. I would avoid this place in future.

me and my partner fancied some food and drinks so decided to visit here on Friday. the staff were extremely helpful the food and drinks were amazing and i'd highly recommend it. we have a flaming grill on our door step but we travel the three miles to get here as the service and food is so much better

I decided to visit this place on a friday night with my partner. the staff were extremely helpful, the food was amazing as were the drinks and we pretty much stayed there until closing. i visit here offen and highly recommend it. We have a local flaming grill near us, but we'll travel the three miles to go here instead as the standard of service is way better

Breakfast with Santa was amazing, all the staff were great with the kids such a jolly fun Santa and the elf’s helped with kids to do letters to Santa so much for the kids to do to keep them busy room looked amazing brilliant presents thank you so much for a wonderful morning we all enjoyed every minute of it well done to you all amazing staff.

Been in Loads of times, and such a great pub, terrific food, great drinks at good prices, And the Staff are great too. 👍 Just one thing, I don't agree with eating in a place where they allow dogs in. I'd rather not eat in places where they allow dogs. But I'm not holding that against the pub, so a full 5 star all round.

Only walked in, was filthy and table where full of dirty plates and glasses the staff didn't seem bothered and all went for there cig break instead of cleaning tables first was a right put off also the place looks like it could do with a good clean from roof to floor and a good paint to freshen it up.

The food was decent quality and was served quickly to say there was 15 of us. It was a good night enjoyed by all. The only downfall was, if we queued at the bar for drinks it took a long time to be served, however when ordering on the app the drinks were brought quickly

Came to eat here today with my family that had reserved a table. Staff were friendly and approachable, and we were quickly located to our table. Our food was delivered to us promptly and it was delicious. My sister had some changes to her burger which had been noted and added to our menu. All food was delivered to us at the same time and was nice and hot. Overall the atmosphere was great and we had a great time out. Thank you!

Cosy place for food and drinks after a cinema visit

We have my sons birthday meal on Sunday 6th October. A group of 18 and not 1 issue did we have. All the food came out together and everyone was happy. The food was beautiful. A big thank you to Callum, Estelle, Cale and Denise for been amazing and keeping us all smiling and doing a fab job with the service provided. The customer service was outstanding.

Had sirloin steak done medium it was perfect would definitely have this again x

Been going to this pub for about 5 years. Always been pretty good. But definitely stepped it up over last few months. Was told today the chef was called Paul... give that man a raise, last few visits I have had, the food has been banging! Obviously takes pride in what he is sending out of his kitchen. Table server Josh we had today was also spot on. Took my daughter in for her birthday for a bite to eat, couldn't fault it at all!

Came here for food and a couple of drinks before going to the cinema with some friends. We were served by a lady called Denise. She was very welcoming and attentive to what we wanted to order. Food, drinks and waiting serving were lovely x

Visit here often but the past couple of times the food has been very poor. The fish in the fish and chips was horrible, looked completely different from previous visits and didn't taste nice at all. The chick n mix nuggets had a strange taste to them. Time before this the mix grill was really chewy. Don't think we'll be visiting again now will look for somewhere else.

Food was nice, service fine. Table wobbly, menus sticky. Some general improvements required to the establishment itself to bring the standard up to the level of the food being served.

Was a lovely meal in a very welcoming pub, Josh who was our waiter (who is usually our waiter) was as always very helpful, polite, fast. Absolutely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic service. The food was great. Myself and my family turned up with 13 people out of the blue. They catered to us without any issue. Staff were amazing can’t thank them enough Estelle Amie were next level the care and attention to our group deserves merit even after my daughter spilled her own drink Amie replaced it with no question (as it wasn’t company policy but she knew it was an accident) our group left very satisfied and will definitely return thanks to not only great food but fantastic service. Wow 35 mins 2 fish and chips orders Amy was great at service shame kitchen didn’t keep up with the orders very good I mean takes 9 mins to cook fish and chips from fresh shame as usually this place is amazing

The place was very dirty, every seat was stained and even marks all over the walls. Was really off putting even just having a drink there. The drinks were quite expensive considering the venue wasn’t very nice.

The place is in urgent need of a revamp. It’s looking tired in some places in the pub. Worn and dirty chairs and rips in some of the seating. The food is lovely and delicious worth a visit for the food just could do with a refurbishment.

We came here yesterday for food with our two children. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and price. We managed to feed our family of 4 for £28 and that included 2 drinks. The staff were friendly and it wasn't overally busy. We will definitely be returning.

Visited the complex this evening and decided to stop by for the 2 cocktails for 1 deal, which was so great. We had countless! ha. Denise, one of the girls working behind the bar, was so friendly and so fast making our drinks we had to go back for more. She would remember every single one even with a really busy pub!! Thank you so much!! And the food, so piping hot and tasty. We ordered the regular and the XL mixed grill and every type of meat was cooked with perfection!! Thank you to all the staff!! We’ll definitely be back!!

We went for lunch yesterday not too sure what to expect. Needn't have worried. The food was lovely and warm. I think 4 empty plates says it all. Food deals are brilliant and drinks prices great too. The staff on duty were very pleasant and efficient.

Booked a table only to arrive to sit anywhere which I found a bit discombobulated. Sat down and looked at the menu, ordered the food on the app, went up to order coffee, the coffee was lovely and hot. Got the drinks a few minutes later, didn't have to wait long for food, everything was lovely and hot, my parents both ordered the chick and mix which they both really enjoyed! My grandmother had the gammon which she enjoyed and myself and my granddad had fish dishes. The staff were all wonderful and friendly especially Julia who was really interactive with us. I have just moved to Leeds for University and when they come down to visit me and my family will be back again.

I went with the family for tea tonight. As expected it was very busy as usual. When I went to be served, Scott was serving. Even though it was very busy and the kids changed there minds Scott was very patient and helpful. He give advice on the menu and helped us choose what we all wanted. He then came over later and made sure we enjoyed our choices whilst joking on with the children. He made them feel special. Thank you so much

Been drinking and eating at the pub with a friend and have been served by a lovely guy called Josh (Joshi).. he’s been so kind with me and my friend eh just made our whole day. Lovely place with love food. Half a chicken and slow cooked pork ribs was delicious. Sundays dinners nice too. Great prices. Lovely staff today was served by Josh. He was very polite and helpful. Thank you we will be back again.

We came for a friends birthday and the staff were lovely - a few of us have disabilities and staff were accomodating. The food was great, reasonably priced and quiz was a lot of fun! Sophie did the quiz and Jordan on the bar - both super lovely!

Asked for lime and soda asked for more lime as very weak charged more money for it, it was still weak and I was told I had enough in there already £3 for a soda with a dash of lime! Food worst ever come across, weatherspoons has better standards, was cold, I complained to be brought another cold meal 🤢 won’t be returning

Ordered a lime and soda. It was really weak so I asked for more lime to which I was told she had already put too much lime in and charged me double. Absolutely appalling when they are charging £3 for lime and soda that tastes like soda. Won’t come again plenty more places to eat around here. This place can’t afford to give you 20 ml extra lime juice yet here we are paying for food.

Couldn't cook a basic chicken burger properly ' they were burnt and bun was stale . Didn't want to give them another chance since they couldn't deliver such a simple meal oh and chips were cold ' the misus had a chicken mix and was not good also coleslaw was off .

The food was lovely, and all pepared in a timely manner. The staff were plenty attentive and our server josh helped out as much as he could when the super hot sauce burned my tounge. Would definately recomend family meals out here as the food is great value for money. Also our meals were easily adjusted and customised to our preference.

Absolutely shocking food burgers rock hard breaking teeth as you attempt to eat meat coming out cold on the Sunday lunch vegetables rock hard everything microwaved shocking food used to be a really nice place but last 2 times I’ve been it’s been shockingly bad !!!! Would not recommend

Come here often for dinner on Fridays with my family. Always lovely food and the price is good as well, large portions too! Josh was lovely, made sure we was happy with our food and so polite. Lovely pub grub and a nice pub too if your just coming for a drink!

Absolutely disgusting management the way she treated myself and my old age parents about not booking a table and demanding us to actually go outside to sit down and eat our food and said it was only booked table today but it wasn’t as no we’re on the website or even when we entered the pub did it actually say table booking only and the table we was on wasn’t even reserved for anyone as there was no reservations label on it the manager is rude

Hadn't been for a while and we had a great meal and some 2 4 1 cocktails tonight! Really friendly and efficient bar team on and my short rib beef was really really delicious. Much better than the price would make you expect! Thank you!

We went for lunch, very quiet (was mid week), was very impressed with there 2 for so much offer.. good choice and good portion sizes for the price. Staff were friendly and were really quick at clearing up your table for you once finished eating.
