We use this place on a regular basis and having sampled the other local similar establishments in our opinion this is the best in town

Filthy chip chop, really not clean, chips soggy and the fish in batter I was given was almost the size of a fish finger! £5.65 not worth the money or the wait 🤔

Been walking passed this Chippy many times always looks busy thought I would give it ago. I wished I had not bothered, not clean inside put me off straight away, food handlers did not wear gloves and not wearing hats. Fish batter was SOGGY and very very Disappointed. Will not be coming back 😩

NEW OWNERS AT LAST ! this pub has had people in who didn't appear to want to be there, now Rory & Lorraine have taken over the difference is night & day in such a short time. Friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to they are a breath of fresh air, this lovely old pub was crying out for. This place will be packed again in no time.

Besseleigh RoadThe food was very good value & very tasty. We had chicken katsu & it was 2 for 13.99 It came with rice & chips Staff were nice, but short staffed & we had to queue for drinks for a while. It was busy as Saturday night.

The Old AnchorAmazing little Riverside pub. Overlooks a very nice part of the Thames, and I believe the pub is hundreds of years old, so it adds to the aesthetic. Great place!

78 West WayTried the Thursday deal of Steak and a Drink yesterday. Really great value. The food was nicely cooked and well presented. Particularly good skin on fries.The cask ale was in great condition, I had the Hobgoblin Golden Ale which was delicious. There is also an excellent choice of lagers. Service was efficient and friendly and it was nice and clean. Thanks to the whole team for a very enjoyable evening. We will return .. especially as there is a bus stop just outside!
