I was here in the evening because the reviews made me curious and I wasn't disappointed. Not only did I get good drinks, but also good conversation with the staff. Super friendly! I also got good tips about other bars and restaurants. Hvala, Sasa! I can't say anything about the food.

Drinks are average, quite expensive for its style. More of a pub vibe that a cocktail bar

Alex and Charlie were amazing. The drinks were crazy good. Alex suggested me a French Pearl cocktail which was stunning. All others cocktails were very good too :) I recommend this place 1000%

I didn't know I like cocktails, but apparently I do!!! I got a Chocolate Mint Cocktail and it was delicious!!!!! I was really impressed... also the staff was EXEPTIONALLY friendly and the place is super cool! Loved going through the "mirror" to go to the other room!

Went to a private birthday party. Anup was our bartender for the night- he was absolutely lovely and provided a great service. 10/10 cocktails and vibes!

Went last year for my birthday and had the best time. The menu changes every year and last year was Pokemon themed!! The cocktails were so amazing and the staff put so much effort into designing these. The service is amazing and everyone is so friendly.

Legendary and influential spot that still delivers. They don’t take themselves too seriously but have the skills.

We tried some excellent cocktails here - world class - but we keep coming back for the “Green card” which is probably THE best spicy cocktail we have tried ever (the closest thing to this is Bagheera at “42” (Gymkhana) which may have been inspired by this the “Green card” (?)

Great local spot for creative cocktails

Food was amazing by Chef Jay Morjaria serving up Korean dishes. The spam fries and sandwiches were outstanding. Chef also came to chat with us and shared his stories. I’ll definitely return for the food. Drinks in my opinion were quite pricey. Also didn’t have lots of choices for non alcoholic drinks. Service was not great on the evening we went, as they ran out of forks.

Entrance is from 21 years old, not from 18 as everywhere else Couldn't have a cocktail on Monday with my 19 and 20 year old sons. Pain ))))))) At the same time, the menu is about Pokemon. Are you serious?))

A late night drinking spot for youngsters. Food is take out from the Italian opposite. Choice of beers very basic.

Great cocktails! Went in there for a 'dessert' cocktail and had one that reminded me of a mint-choc cornetto. The service was great; the manager was chill and informative. I love going to cocktail bars on the 'quiet' nights for this reason: chilled vibe, sweet cocktails.

Visited Callooh Callay on a Sunday evening. The pave was quite busy although they could accommodate us at the bar, which we preferred. The cocktail menu is pikachu themed, due to change at some point this month. Exciting! We ordered four different cocktails and they were delicious. Served by an enthusiastic bar team. Callooh Callay is one of the top 50 cocktail bars in the world and you can see why. All of our cocktails were prepared with love and they were quite complex. I’m sure they’ll do the classics, but why bother when they have 20+ signatures. The venue itself is not overly fancy or posh. I suspect it’s pretty rammed on a Friday or Saturday. It almost has a bit of a club feel. Will certainly return for a third visit, to try the new menu.

They have a very fun Cocktail menu since each cocktail is named after a character from the Pokémon series. We tried 4 and they were very good. The place is cozy and the entrance to the services is very original.

Weird pokemon themed cocktail menu is impossible to read. In the end, he asked for 4 mezcal margaritas, which they said they could make for us. Me and my friends and I agreed they were the worst version we'd ever had. We didn't want to seem rude, so politely asked for the bill, £72, then left. It was super overpriced and didn't taste nice at all. Very weird cocktail. I wouldn't go again or recommend it.

We came here for a 22nd birthday party on a Friday night. When we arrived we were shown to our seats and given menus. We then went up to the bar to order our drinks, before being told quite aggressively that we were not to order at the bar and that it was table service only. We then sent back down and waited for some time - but nobody came to serve us. Eventually I got the attention of a waiter and we were able to order. When the drinks arrived I was not that impressed considering the price, everything was pre-mixed and tasted quite watery.

Came here with no expectations but it was such a really nice bar with cool concepts! The drinks were really unique and we spinned the wheel to determine how much would we pay for the cocktails. Definitely didn’t dissapoint, will come back again soon!

I guess we were unlucky. The venue and vibe were cool. Unfortunately we sat like lemons for 40 min waiting for our first cocktail to arrive. 30 min after we ordered our drinks the waiter looked confused and then admitted he hadn't actually sent the order to the bar. Many, many apologies followed but when we eventually got the bill the 12.5% service charge was still attached. We asked for that to be scrubbed as their idea of 'service' was clearly different to ours.

Great selection of amazing cocktails and sometimes you get to spin the fortune wheel to add to the experience. Good vibes and great drinks, we didn’t eat there this time but will certainly be coming back for a few more 🍸🍹🥃

Overall a good bar with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We arrived and ordered our drinks but they took a little long to arrive so our friendly waiter gave us 2 shots on the house. The pokémon themed menu is quirky, I will say however some of the drinks we ordered weren’t the best. Some were a bit watered down and the glasses for some really quite small. Also, we sat in the back room and while it was especially cozy and intimate, it did feel a little cramped and like we were too close to the couples next to us. Other than this we still had a fab time- would recommend for a night of chatting and funky drinks.

A cozy and lively cocktail bar venue. The service here was great and the waiter was fast and explained everything well and the atmosphere was lively but perhaps a little too loud, kind of gave the feel of more of a club that a cocktail bar per se. The drinks were very hit and miss, there were some interesting ideas on the menu but they were usually not executed very well and the balance of the drinks was off. Most of the drinks came across as a little gimmicky as there was an extensive menu with drinks based on Pokemon. Nothing on that menu came across as particularly thought out and tailored and felt more like they found drinks to match a Pokemon's theme rather than crafting a good cocktail by its own right. It may be worth a shot but I think there are better cocktail bar alternatives in the area.

We visited there on Friday night. The place looked very cozy and staff friendly. The menu concept was great, they are changing the menu every year and this time they had Pokemon theme and also menu for Japanese Suntory whiskey anniversary. We tried six cocktails, all of them were presented and made well, to highlight some of them would be Snorlax - short, refreshing with amazing cream cranberry flavour finish, Gengar - crisp, sour, Margarita aike and one of stronger cocktails, Mankey - long,creamy and enriched with pineapple and Toki whiskey finish. Overall worth to come as for London cocktail enthusiasts!

I dont usually write reviews, but everything was so amazing that I couldn’t help myself. You can feel the passion and love from the decor, to the theme, to the drinks. A must visit for sure. Alex was the best.

Amazing drink menu! So much to choose from and love the atmosphere. Was there in a Tuesday so not a lot of people and not all the rooms open but still a lovely spot to have a drink or 2 or 4 with friends ^_^ Will definitely be back

Get this. There’s a glass and an ice cube. They both are the same size, the law of physics says that if you put an ice cube in a glass that is the same size, you physically can’t have any liquid inside of that glass. Well, I think the bartender failed his science class in middle school. p.s. It wasn’t a cocktail that needed anything else than a couple of ice cubes, therefore trying to enjoying it was either having a shot or slowly drinking a diluted water drink

Great atmosphere and staff. The drinks aren’t balanced the best. Lots of sweet and goofy (peanut butter in a cocktail? Uhhh, no). With the Pokémon nod and heavy mixing of spirits, it’s certainly aimed towards adolescence.

One of the consistently best bars in London. Great ambience, drinks, music and people! The staff are really welcoming and helpful (particularly when you can't decide on which cocktail to try first). Will definitely be back!

I am actually shocked this place has such high ratings. Are people okay? This is nothing more than a tacky Shoreditch bar with a Pokemon themed drink card and if it wasn’t for a nice lighting, we would not have gone in. Pretentious staff and overpriced, tastless cocktails. I ordered Aperol Spritz to see if they know what they’re doing as you can’t go wrong with that. Well, turns out you can. It also took ages to get the staff’s attention, which btw compromised of men only, and who were busy talking to each other instead of serving customers. I guess below bare minimum is the accepted standard at the end of the day. Avoid

Bar à cocktail branchée , bonne adresse ( même si un peu loin du centre de Londres , mais ça fait du bien ) très bon serveur , très bon barman , très bon coktail ( dommage pour la soirée tacos du mardi annulée) pour la cinquième étoile manque juste un petit truc à grignoter ( saucissons, charcuterie, snack, biscuits apéritifs etc...) Mais par contre top de servir de l eau !

I will forgive all manner of sins for great cocktails. These are EXCEPTIONAL cocktails. I like my cocktail bars quiet, pretentious and boring. This place is none of those things. But I will let it slide.

Cocktails were good - I didn’t ask for classic but went with their menu and wasn’t disappointed. The, I presume, manager was nice as well, very accommodating and with good sense of humour. However waitress who served us could have been nicer. I’m gonna assume it’s her first day but she was struggling to understand us? Considering you work in a cocktail bar you should know the classics or at least just write down what was asked of you and see if it’s possible to make.

I’m disappointed in this place. I’d never been before but there were a group of us for a birthday surprise drinks. The set up is table service and when none of the staff approached the table for such a big group very often. I approached the bar myself, a male member of staff saw me and told me to sit down as I couldn’t order drinks at the bar, totally fine but no one came over to place and order so I was having to keep getting up to find someone to ask for a drinks order. You can’t stand up to have a chat with people sat at the other end of the table, the staff were strict on that and i wish I knew before that it isn’t a very relaxed environment. The lighting and venue is cool which is why I’ve given 2 stars but I wouldn’t go back. The drinks had lots of ice, cool ice cubes but they water down the drinks a lot.

Great creative cocktails and service!

Lovely chilled cocktail bar. Inspired cocktails presented in conceptual menus. Something for everyone. Staff were so welcoming and set a great tone. They sat with us and went through how to navigate the menu and were more than happy to help us order a cocktail that we would enjoy.

Cocktails meh but yay for being open late

Everything you’d expect from a Shoreditch cocktail bar - solid and creative drinks, cool vibe and largely friendly service. Let down by a somewhat draconian reservation system - think credit card at booking with the threat of charges being deducted if you’re late or no show - but then not actually having enough seats for your group when you arrive. One of our party had to sit on a speaker while another was given an almost comically high bar stool to sit on. Not the end of the world, but certainly takes the edge off…

NYE review: Over priced bar for average food and extremely low quality cocktails. The bartenders were nice but super slow, we waited at least 20 mins for each drink. The alcohol served was cheap cheap stuff ( in NYE and after paying £120)and after 1am every drink we ordered was just soda. It got so obvious that the girl besides us called out the bartender because her gin and tonic was just gin. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone because you will just burn money for nothing.

One of my favourite cocktail bars in London! They do amazing cocktails that you can choose from a tinder inspired menu. Love their vibes at front and also the bigger rooms at the back. Excellent service and recommendations from Carolina, Serena, Charlie and team. Must try: casino royale, 2 truths 1 lie, flowers.
