The best way to ensure an impeccable start to the day. The staff are so lovely, friendly, helpful, funny - the list goes on. Coffee is a good standard, which is hard to find in Dalston otherwise. Usually they have two different espressos to choose from. The best thing on the food menu is the sandwiches, and they have great vegan alternatives on lush fresh focaccia bread. Currently one aubergine/pepper option and the other is pumpkin, both delicious. Another favorite is the saltbeef. The produce is fresh and the portions generous. If you have any issues and you bring it up with the staff they are super accommodating. The garden outside is peaceful with the outdoor greenery, which is kept really well by gardeners all year round. Summertime you can sit there with bees buzzing, a good iced espresso in your hand and get your tan on all at the same time. THANK YOU.

I have no words for the quality of this place. The best coffee I've ever had! The menu options were delicious, the bread was spectacular (according to a Portuguese woman), the sandwiches had very well-chosen combinations of ingredients, the croissant was one of the best ever. The best staff ever! They were late bringing the sandwich and offered us 2 coffee vouchers (each coffee isn't exactly cheap).

If you are looking for a good coffee in London, definitely visit All Press Dalston. The staff are amazing (every single one of them), baristas are pros, and the overall cafe setting is very inviting (you're also able to sneak a look into the roastery which is a cool touch). The food here is amazing too - the mixed plates especially. The cafe also has an outdoor area which is perfect for soaking in the rays ☀️!

Please do a gluten and dairy free milk! It’s a cool place and next to my house, but why can’t you have a milk I can drink? Other, smaller places have soy or almond or coconut milk… also you could get a gluten free oat milk. Inclusivity is important! Your coffee is excellent!

20 mins for an Americano take away

Came here with family to have coffee and the place is very busy i understand but it was filthy and had a smell. Asked the waitress to clean our table and she left dirt and hair. She basically just moved dirt around. I had to get some tissue and clean the table myself. The floor was filthy I felt sick.

Came to Allpress Dalston for the Home Espresso Workshop - had a really lovely brunch before hand, and then onto the course. Led by Kal, it was a really informative and in depth course on the Perfect Flat White - from learning about specialty beans, to the bespoke Allpress roasting process, and then the actual coffee making itself, Kal was super passionate and knowledgable about what he was teaching, and we were in safe hands. We left excited to try and make one at home (..and buy a coffee grinder!)

Terrible customer service. Moody staff ask you to stand precisely where you should be. No smiles, no care, no feel good factor as they put a £4 coffee in front of you and expect you to be grateful. Go to Cafe Route instead

The best decaf coffee I've ever had. Very friendly and helpful service with a lovely atmosphere. It's really cool seeing the roasting equipment on the other side of the glass or sitting outside on a sunny day among the plants.

Incredibly rude manager… Despite the fact that I specifically asked permission from another staff member to use my laptop for just 30mins, the manager came to the table and said they had a no laptop policy… I told her that I had already asked permission from staff, but instead of checking in with the other staff member, she “pulled rank” I guess, and said that “she was the manager”. Very unprofessional service, embarrassing for this type of place. Nope, never going back again.

Beautiful spot for breakfast and coffee in the garden. The staff were so genuinely friendly and happy even when there was a line of people out the door! Try the mix plate if you go there - my partner had it with Trout and I had it as is and they were both perfect. We shared a filter coffee and a flat white, absolutely spot on for both of them. Filter was a bit fruity and I normally like more chocolate notes but really enjoyable. I bought some beans to try and replicate at home and they gave me a sample bag of another single origin they thought I might like. Will be back :)

Beautiful outdoor space and great coffee.

Hard to find a better consistent coffee. They always serve up quality flavour and good milk work. It’s a great strong cup as well which is always appreciated in a flat white. The milk was slightly heavy on top which is the only thing holding it back from being one of the best around. I’d give it a 8.4.

The coffee hear is great and it is interesting but way to much effort for a coffee place too expensive. Sorry not for me.

The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is nice :) I don't recommend prosciutto in the classic plate because it doesn't seem to go well with the other ingredients. lol

Exceptional place for our coffee, a savoury bite and garden delight — no wonder it’s become my local haunt. They do exceptional coffee (and decaf too! you’d be surprised how hard it is to find delicious decaf). 5 stars all round for their drinks and food. Service is a hit and a miss. The staff are friendly but also means that the cashier has a looooong queue.

I went there with 4 more friends. Two of them ordered a chai latte which was described as one of the best ones they've tried in London. The other two friends ordered a long black and an americano but they both received a long black. Indeed the barista said that both drinks were the same when they were not. I ordered an espresso which was what I expected for a roastery coffee place. I have to say that this is one of the most expensive cafes I've been to in London. The macchiato is my usual point of comparison, normally I pay £2.8-£3 for that but here they charge you £3.7!

It’s a really cool place, coffee is incredible & generally the staff seem lovely too. However on two occasions I’ve ordered a coffee for takeaway, & ended up waiting a while - the waiting is absolutely not the issue, I can see they are super busy - however I believe I have the right to ask after my flat white when it has been 18 minutes since I ordered it (& new people were receiving their orders before me), however when I politely (overly politely) ask if they could just double check my order was there - I get a “yes yes yes your coffee is coming okay we’re just busy as you can see…” Wildly rude reply when I was being really reasonable & polite, & had waited nearly 20 minutes. Such a shame that this is the attitude when customers are being smiley & nice. Hoping it changes because i would like to spend more time here

Good coffees and sweet outside area. Inside atmosphere is a bit stale and the juices are very spenny for what they are. But coffee is good, would always recommend a takeaway from here or a sit outside in the sun.

This is a great place to visit at any given time. Can be really busy but that’s only cos it’s a great vibe and with good people serving. Prices are Dalston-y but the place is great.

The place to go for great coffee. Allpress has light dining menu, eggs, toasted sandwiches, bakery items. Always freshly made and delicious. Plenty of seating inside, always busy with the young local crowd. Dog friendly, beautifully maintained patio and garden outside with seating. Very friendly and casual. We’ll worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

Could it be the one of the best coffee experiences in London? Yes. Very obviously yes. The coffee is sublime, the service beyond fault and the menu is refreshingly different to what everyone else is trying to imitate. Allpress is a unique take both in the coffee and the food in an utterly stunning location.

Yesterday I was attempting to branch out and explore some new places for food and coffee in the area so a quick google search brought me here. I have to say the architecture/interior design and front garden are lovely. Despite that exception - I wouldn't recommend it and I won't be returning. Allpress is the definition of gentrification in the area. I spent nearly £10 on some avocado toast that was hard as a brick, with the avocado in a separate dish. I'd rather have eaten the rotten avocado I had to throw out earlier in the day. I wasn't paying £10 for a deconstructed, subpar and inedible breakfast. They may as well have served me a loaf of bread and an avocado. But you could see from the clientele that people have more money than sense or had not come to eat. Rather observe their food. The coffee was nice but can find equally good, if not better coffee elsewhere. Support some local businesses that don't charge a tenner for a sandwich. Also watched the whole cafe ignore a homeless womans' pleas for them to buy her a coffee, when that money would have meant nothing to them. Tory vibes. Avoid!

Came for the barista skills workshop, had an oat mocha before the workshop which was delicious. Just had to share that Izzy was the most wonderful instructor/trainer/teacher, very knowledgeable, great with engagement, very helpful and understanding. If you want to a quality learning experience, look no further. The in-depth detail was amazing and really helpful as I’m a complete beginner in the world of coffee. Highly recommended, will be back to try the food and definitely for the next level of the course. 10/10

The coffee was amazing however I ordered the ‘mixed plate’ and you get: sliced cheese from the supermarket, tomato, half avocado, one egg and bread = £9.50! No value for money!! Prosciutto is extra

Usually I have really lovely experiences at this cafe, however the lady that was taking orders today was quite rude. We ordered at the counter, as normal. Upon receiving the food, we noticed some missing items from the dishes, which we had to go back up and kindly ask for. After receiving them, we then had to go back up an additional time and request additional items that we had never received. Whilst this was frustrating we understood it was quite busy, however she was quite stand-offish. However, after finishing our food the cashier decided to come back around and tell us to recite the order we made, as if suggesting we were mistaken, when we paid the full amount.

Fresh and beautiful place with delicious coffee for conoseurs. I have tried their cupcake with a custard. Lovely. It was wonderful to sit outside surrounded by plants, dogs, and young, busy professionals. No screaming, kids, thanks God. It was such a nice place to relax .

Amazing Aussie coffee in London. Fairly busy Roastery and distro next door + Allpress HQ. Allpress is a good quality and consistent bean. Service is lovely and professional and the baristas and chefs know their craft. Inside is spacious and warm while outside is chill. The Roastery commotion doesn't detract from the cafe vibes at all and instead provides an interesting background. The cup sizes are tiny - not standard at all. So it seems like they're skimping on milks to increase profitability (which you don't really need to do with coffee). Food is basic but good quality. Could really benefit from a big brekky option. Exxy but high quality - you pay for what you get.

Neatly tucked behind stylish metal fencing, the allpress cafe is comfortable and welcoming, with a beautiful Mediterranean-esque garden with ample sun and shade. The coffee, as one would expect of a specialist roastery, is delicious, and the staff friendly and attentive. I attended a barista training course here which was very good. Cal and Issy are great teachers and just lovely in general, and I came away more confident in the fundamentals that every barista should aim to master. Thank you!

Don't get me wrong - it seems chic and swanky, and the garden turns it into an oasis. But it's XXI century. Where are the sockets? Even churches have those nowadays. Lastly, I never like to criticise staff, but they were acting so undeniably miserable and standoffish like they were gracing the premises with their presence that I just left. It's either management fault or it's time to change jobs 🤷

Sin dudas la mejor cafetería de Dalston. Viví en ese barrio por 6 meses, y lo que sin dudas más disfruté, fue tomar café en esta cafetería. Excelente café, excelente comida y buen servicio. Si viven al norte de la ciudad les recomiendo pasar por este lugar. Más allá de todo lo bueno, a veces pueden tardar un poco en traer el café y el lugar se suele llenar mucho los fin de semanas.

One of my favorite coffee places in London. The place is large, has great coffee and always attract a crowd. I’ve been a few times and always ordered to sit with my coffee but also great to go. Be sure to look out for the coffee you can buy and take home, it’s quality.

Definitely one of the best coffees in the area they roast their coffee on site which is very impressive and super fresh. The stuff is very friendly and have a great service. I had a latte for the past three days and I keep coming back to this place because it is great.

The place is a whole vibe. It's perfect for a catch up, lunch in the sun, to read or just to swing by for a delicious coffee fix before heading back to your day. I love it here.
