Had tea coffee and cake very nicely presented. Cake lovely as was tea and coffee. Certainly work a visit

A great cafe with an efficient system of buzzers as they are short staffed. I was in on Saturday and I had soup while my wife and kids just had coffees and cakes the staff were really friendly and the cakes were delicious aswell I would definitely come back again it’s a shame they are losing such a friendly team.

Lovely coffee, great cake, fantastic views, friendly staff but some eejit thought it would be a good idea to give everyone a device that beeps when your order is ready - meaning the room is a constant cacophony of beeping! Get rid please!!!

This was the second visit this week. Very friendly knowledgeable staff who catered for my gluten allergy - excellent gluten free cakes!

The stones and cafe are well worth a visit. Good range of vegan options which bc are tasty for non vegans too of course. Nice place to sit and look at the view.

I went and got a coffee here after my visit to the stones. These lovely baristas were absolutely lovely and gave me a fantastic coffee :)

I usually go with friends or family but popped into the Callanish Cafe today on my own, giving me an opportunity to not just write about my own experience but also interactions I observed. Firstly, I was greeted, as on previous occasions, with a friendly hello and smile, and my order was dealt with efficiently by staff, despite the cafe being very busy on my arrival. While the cafe went through very busy periods (2 coach fulls arrived at once) and in-between a steady flow of customers, I was impressed the staff were able to maintain a pleasant and friendly atmosphere even when run off their feet. Saying hello and taking orders, while noting customers who finished and were at the door leaving, and saying thank you and goodbye to them, is quite a juggling skill! I also observed staff taking the time to answer tourists questions. Even helping with directions for one tourist, with the staff member getting their own phone out to help by showing a map to the customer. That is above and beyond good customer service. During one of the quieter periods 2 customers (tourists) were asking a lot of questions about life on the island, the staff member took the time to make them feel welcomed and valued by pleasantly interacting, and answering. Even the difficult customers (you always get the odd Victor Meldrew) appear not to phase the staff who manage to maintain a friendly, helpful demeanour. I tucked into a very nice scone with quality clotted cream and jam. If you want a place to go with a genuine warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, and great coffee, and food, then this place fits the bill. Just wish I lived closer so could go more often! As I left I took my plate etc to the counter rather than leaving it on the table to be cleared, a staff member noticed this small helpful gesture, smiled and thanked me for it. I couldn't leave without a quick look in the gift shop. Where again staff greeted customers with a smile, were equally friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Bagged myself a few items to put away as Christmas gifts, and a little treat for me.

The most wonderful cafe I have ever experienced. I used to be an astroturfer but now I have seen the light. Few cafes deserve 10 out of 10 for everything, but this one does. Its staff are unfailingly and smilingly polite even to the most disgustingly rude and horrible customers who visit to scrounge the use of electrical sockets. Or to use toilets they may jokingly say they have already paid for in their taxes. Or to sit on their backsides all afternoon only buying 4 or 5 coffees as if the staff had been born to service them. Or on the sniff for getting hold of cups of coffee without paying double the price that this establishment offers it to them for - a higher price they should gladly pay, because the coffee is so marvellously tasty and it's served in copious amounts too, and it's better than the most wonderful beverages I have tasted anywhere else on the planet. Bravo! Wonderfully quick service. Highly trained hospitality geniuses. No rudeness or poor attitude towards customers ever. Very fast. And all managed by the most brilliant managers I have ever met. All residents and all tourists should be grateful the managers are selflessly working in the grant-funded sector, because they would easily be able to earn 10 or 20 times the salary if they switched to the private sector, any day of the week. They're as good as anyone. No, that's incorrect. They are better than anyone. They make excellent catering choices, truly excellent selections. Nobody should possibly continue to astroturf after experiencing such a heavenly environment. Thank you, thank you, thank you for everything. Very clean place too. And there are never any boneheaded whinges in managerial responses to reviews posted by dissatisfied customers. How could there be? There aren't ever any genuinely dissatisfied customers. Nobody would be dissatisfied after visiting such an all-round excellent place. Clean. Fast. Beautiful people with smiling faces always willing to help, even to help horrible customers who visit the cafe only to be rude and act as if they've got a right to expect something. Beautiful. Excellent choices. Always smiles smiles smiles. I love this place!

Came here frequently over the Summer . Had lunch once and coffee and cake frequently. Coffees are amazing! Staff I have always found to be extremely friendly and to be honest extremely patient! Whilst waiting for my coffee, because yes, generally you do wait, it is a very busy establishment, I have witnessed them treat the rudest of customers with smiles and apologies, despite having nothing to apologise for! I have always been greeted every visit and chatted to whilst there They obviously get on well as a team which is great to see! Keep up the good work guys😀

The centre opens at 10. It serves breakfast till 11.30am . Today was a very windy day, it was lovely eating hot breakfast looking out over the water. Food was fresh and hot. I recommend a visit.

Second time this week at Callanish visitor centre. Staff are friendly and polite and food is great. A trip to the little shop is a must for little gifts to take home.
