Callands Fryer in Warrington

Don’t buy pies early evening as just had one with pastry like concrete. Obviously kept in the warmer from lunch time. What a rip off.

We often order a meal from The Callands Fryer and have never been disappointed. Always freshly cooked and served with a smile. We usually order online and collect and it all works five. Fish and chips is always excellent.

Myself and my husband ordered fish and chips also banquet for one. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was excellent spring rolls ok chicken black bean and green peppers was shocking. The onions were very thinly sliced over cooked the same with the green and red peppers also the fried rice was really over cooked some of rice was crisp I will never order from here again.

I have called into the Callands Fryer twice recently and on both occasions they have got my order wrong and charged me for items i have not been given. They seem unable to cope when the shop gets busy. I will be taking my custom elsewhere in future. But a tip for those who do go, check your order before leaving the shop.

Everything swimming in grease. Fish and chips tasted the same bland. Undercooked and overcooked chips. I feel robbed of my money. The pic is what i left. Never again..its my local chippy but id rather drive further afield!

Ordered the food at the counter and paid for it on a quiet Thursday night. I said I would return at 5.30pm which I did. The queue was out of the door and the owner of the chip shop saw me and beckoned me in. The food was hot and very tasty I must say. The order was Fish, Chips, Peas x 6 and it was excellent. I would advise ordering in advance from my experience and I will certainly order from them again.

Chippy tea after the match we has 2 fish and 1 lot of chips with mushy peas and curry sauce all was fantastic and fresh a little bit expensive but worth the money

Absolutely disgusting food . The owners attitude leaves a lot to be desired . Perhaps he needs to get a refund of the charm and customer service school he attended . Go somewhere else unless you want to feed your bin and not your family .

Such a shame, this used to be a really good chippy. Out of the 5 times you will go only 1 will be good enough. Fish was tastless, chips like cardboard.

We use this takeaway all the time.. but last 2 times we have been have totally put us off 1.. arrived over an hour late and was given lame excuses they didnt care. 2 food was burnt, rice dark aa anything curry tasted funky, wrap was hard and chewy threw half of our tea away.. not worth contacting them as they dont give a damn.. not happy

Well, my quest to find the best fish n chips in Warrington might well be over already! Fish, Chips, Curry sauce and a battered sausage. I honestly couldn't find a single fault with anything. The chips where perfectly cut and fried, and really really tasty The fish. Well. The batter was light, crispy and thoroughly cooked. The fish was thick, fleshy and soft. We had the chinese curry sauce, which was thick and really flavoursome. The battered sausage was a very cheeky extra treat was also delicious, with really crispy batter. The fish and chips came in a cardboard box, which I believe always helps keep everything in tip top condition.
