Really good iced matcha latte - but pastries are good but nothing spectacular. Sharing tables.

Somehow they manage to make the (expensive) coffee both bitter and sour. It's practically undrinkable. You get the same size cup for a cappuccino, flat white or regular coffee. Cappuccinos and flat whites look and taste exactly the same (both extremely sour and undrinkable), because the cup doesn't have enough space for a cappuccino-amount of foamed milk. The space is often very hot and humid with completely steamed-up windows and the seats are uncomfortable. Honestly, I don't know why anyone would come here.

A wonderful coffee shop with friendly, efficient staff who always make us feel welcome. Delicious food and excellent coffee. Highlights include the daily batch brew coffee and their cheese Toastie which is sinfully delicious. My favourite place to start my day. Dog friendly.

Perfect little cafe on the way to Dean village from where we were staying. Ordered a limeade drink, cheese toastie and a matcha latte. Friendly staff too.

I had 1 vegan sandwich and a plain croissant both were excellent and one flat white and one hot chocolate all of them were great taste the only thing I didn’t like is the ice mocha and the seats were uncomfortable

Coffee was good and grilled cheese tasted great. Salmon on rye portion was a little stingy for the price paid. Matcha was good but very sweet with a subtle matcha flavour. Service was okay, not particularly friendly. Nice environment inside. Cold water available which was a bonus.

We visited here for breakfast, and everything was great. The location is amazing, right in the city center, with a lovely view and surroundings. There was a good variety of options, and the carrot cake was absolutely delicious! The only downside was that the interior could have been a bit cleaner.

The flat white and bacon toasties are insanely good, warm friendly service on each visit. You will not be disappointed.

The cafeteria has a lovely vibe! I found the staff to be friendly, and the calming soundtrack really adds to the atmosphere. I enjoyed a delicious carrot cake for dessert—it was wonderfully sweet! I also ordered an Americano, but they served it in a smaller cup (maybe they have different sizes?). The reason I gave it two stars, though, is that the coffee tasted a bit burnt, and the prices are a bit steep for me (I’m on a tight budget).

Count £26 for drink, main course and dessert In general the welcome was very friendly with a little music in the background. The service is fast. The portions are good, neither too much nor not enough. Quality is 4.7/5 This little café where you can eat has no reason to be ashamed of the competition. Affordable prices. Relaxing experience.

Nice coffee Plate was badly chipped that my food was served on I noticed most of the plates and saucers were chipped which I thought was really bad as chipped plates are a harbour for bacteria not good I won’t return because of this. I am very surprised at this being ok to a food establishment it’s a No no as far as I’m concerned

Looked lovely but unfortunately it was far from it. Coffee had a funny taste, and the picture was the full amount of the cortado, which was disappointingly small. Hate the communal long tables with wobbly high stool seating, not comfortable. £7.90 for a breakfast tea and a cortado so about average price wise, if the coffee had been drinkable. Would not go back.

Delightful cafe. Myself and my friend and my two dogs stumbled upon this coffee after a day of sight seeing and a well needed rest. We both had a brie cheese sandwich which was divine. I had a cappuccino which was lovely and my dogs were provided with treats by a very friendly staff member. The layout and decor of this cafe is spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Nice selection of coffee and teas. Friendly staff made sure our dog got a treat and a water bowl, while we enjoyed the delicious baked goods.

Food and coffee is expensive but good quality sandwiches. Many students and there are some tables for 8 or 10 which are sharing tables. Very busy. Good location.

If I could give 10 stars to the staff, especially Maya I would. Lovely brunch and also enjoyed a second coffee with a little treat. The perfect place to chill for breakfast, lunch or just coffee ☕️. Would highly recommend!

A lovely space, nice atmosphere. They serve sandwiches, snacks, and some other sweet treats. Personally, the coffee was a bit robust to my liking and not as warm as I would have liked it, but the food was good.

The coffee we had was pleasant, but the service and atmosphere were nothing short of abysmal. We ordered an oat cappuccino and paid for warm cow’s milk for our baby. What followed was a shocking display of incompetence and complacency that left us deeply concerned. When the milk arrived, it appeared to be oat milk, not cow’s milk. We raised this issue with the server, who dismissively responded, “Oh, this is what the barista gave me, so it must be cow’s milk,” and simply walked away without offering to check or rectify the issue. Her indifference was astonishing. My husband had to go back twice to address the problem himself. On the second attempt, the manager—who wasn’t present earlier—finally acknowledged the mistake and replaced the milk. To be absolutely clear : this was something we paid for, not a favour they were doing for us. What’s most concerning is the casual attitude displayed by the staff toward what could have been a serious allergy risk. We are all too aware of the tragic consequences food allergies can have, including fatalities. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and handling it responsibly, the staff treated us as though we were an inconvenience for simply requesting what we had ordered and paid for. Your team simply can’t be trusted with something as simple as distinguishing between cow’s milk and oat milk, how can customers trust you with their safety? (We visited on 17th Nov)

I tried the turmeric latte during the weekend. It was the best I’ve ever tried. I wish we had a Cairngorm in my country after this!! 10/10 recommend the place!

I was immediately drawn to @cairngormcoffeeco while walking past its beautiful corner shopfront. The interior is spacious and has a cozy vibe that’s great for either catching up or spending time on your own. The view is amazing, too!

Best black/ filter coffee I had in Edinburgh. It was crowded, and no seats left, so we only ordered coffee.

Turned up to enjoy a coffee and do some work. Sat down after ordering and found out the WiFi wasn't working. Ideally they should have mentioned it or atleast refunded the coffee so I could go elsewhere to work. Coffee was below average too.

This is always my go-to coffee place in Edinburgh. The coffee is great and the staff are so nice.

We had a flat white, a cortado, and a slice of carrot cake, and everything was delicious! The coffee was perfectly brewed, and the carrot cake was incredibly tasty – moist and full of flavor. The only downside was the seating; the high chairs weren’t very comfortable. Still, the quality of the coffee and cake definitely made up for it. Will be back for sure!

The best grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. I the chilli jam they put inside the sandwich is 👌🏻 I also had the cauliflower lentil tumeric soup that I devoured.

Toasted cheese sandwich was very tasty but the coffee was let down by not being hot enough. Toilets unfortunately not great either, not particularly clean and the hand dryer wasn't working. Too many people on laptops (with a long-finished coffee) taking up spaces at the expense of those buying food and drinks and trying to find a seat.

Very friendly service, very aesthetic setting but unfortunately very mid coffee. A bummer considering coffee in Edinburgh is $7 Canadian after the exchange rate.

Visited many times, they used to have a place in Bonnie and Wild at St James Quarter, which was the regular location I keep visiting. Still enjoy visiting this cafe in West End, they serve excellent coffees with beans they roasted. Sandwiches and pastries are great too, highly recommend.

These people do not accept cash. Definitely a very good reason not to go anywhere near this coffee house. Toatally disgraceful to refuse a person who only has cash and desperately needed a coffee and just to see a friendly face. Not to be here.

Cute place but I’ve seen better regarding quality and service, I wanted a salmon toast at 1pm but no salmon anymore, so I asked for an avocado toast which came simply as a slice of bread and smashed avocado, nothing on the side or no effort on presentation but a lot of olive oil on the top.. and they have juste 1 salt and pepper set for all the place apparently ? Tables not cleaned up, same for the floor and restrooms. Better places out in town

Amazing coffee with internet and good working area.

We loved this cafe/roastery. The atmosphere is lovely with lots of plants, seating and a gorgeous espresso bar. The beans they sell are incredible as well, we took two bags home with us.

Fell upon it after a long walk up from the cricket match and later realized we’d been told to go for the grilled cheese! And also were admonished by a kind co-patron next to us to get the grilled cheese. So, we were dumb. Chalk it up to overstimulation from all the loveliness of Edinburgh in too short a visit, but also it just wasn’t that good. Lots of business, and most of that coffee. Lots of folks working away… now that I think of it, we didn’t even see any grilled cheese. Whatever, it’s a coffee shop with ok pastries but apparently a gluten-free persons haven!

I bought Galeras decaf and Sierra Mazateca beans from this coffee shop. I asked the barista to grind the beans for the V60, but in the end, after brewing in the coffee bed the coffee turned to dust as if I had brewed espresso. Dissatisfied with this attitude to a simple request to grind beans for the V60.

Great coffee, there's a bit of choice and their brownies are excellent! You can sit inside or outside to enjoy Edinburgh life.

We sat down in the café for a short coffee break. I had a chai latte that tasted great and we shared a pain au chocolat. The café is very cozy and you have a great view of the surrounding area through the large windows.

We went here on our trip to Scotland, great coffee and nice community like feel inside. Food was very good too! Would definitely return next time we are in Edinburgh

Excellent coffee and a very nice atmosphere. Lots of space by the window for a 'breakfast with a view' experience. Breakfast options were quite nice too.

We visited the place for lunch and a cup of coffee. The vegan dishes are great and the staff is very friendly. Compared to other specialty coffees, they are organized quite well with orders at the bar but food being brought to your place. The coffee we had was decent, but not really special. I would expect a more thorough selection and a greater variety in a specialty coffee shop. Also, maybe only during lunch time, it can get really loud and crowded inside.

Not great, to be honest. The homemade peach iced tea was extremely watery, and I couldn't taste the peach at all, plus it was really small for £4. The toilet is the worst part, it's look like a shambles and they really should fix the doors and the stairs. Maybe they should use this like a "staff only" area. Not happy

Cairngorm Coffee is one of my favorite spots for coffee in Edinburgh.

Pretty café, good music and nice vibe from the staff. Their coffees are good, I liked my cappuccino and my partner enjoyed his hot chocolate. The food was alright; both the avocado toast and the grilled cheese was ordered, they do like to add a lot of spice to their dishes..so I recommend reading the ingredients carefully. If you are not into the spicy touch they put, I recommend asking to not add it (not sure if it’s a possibility). Practical if you are looking for a late breakfast place !

Lots of lime. To preserve the avocado they put a lot of lime in it and it is inedible.

Oat Cappuccino and Oat Chai Latte were not good. oat milk was too watery. suggest avoiding if you are vegan, lactose intolerant or avoiding dairy as the coffee was not palatable because of it

One of the best cafes in Glasgow. It is quiet, the staff are professional and friendly, their coffee is distinctive and fresh, and they serve some sandwiches, croissants, light meals and juices.

We stopped in for a take away coffee because the place looked so cute with a great vibe! The barista was pretty snooty and rude, but more than that the coffee was SO disappointing. So many reviews rave about the coffee but we only had a few sips then chucked them. I had a cappuccino and my husband had an americano. Very weak and flavourless.

The atmosphere is nice, lots of seating and WiFi/Laptop friendly. Downside is that I did not have a friendly experience with staff. They opened late so there were a few of us waiting outside, once they did open they acted very annoyed and inconvenienced. I just didn’t get a “I’m happy to be here” vibe.

Great coffee shop atmosphere. Hipster but not over-the-top. I saw a lot of people working and conducting business is suits as well. Coffee was excellent and the pasties/cookies/etc were amazing. I could easily make myself sick on the brownies and scones and other sweet treats.

The coffee was good but £4.00 is the most I have ever paid for a take away coffee. They were also card only. That is really bad I think. Definitely won't go back but they were busy enough and the staff were just doing their job, not accepting cash and insisting card only.

Drinks were not as expected. They can do better. Bakeries sold out very quickly.
