We stopped at this cafe for lunch after some sight seeing around the area. Found good reviews about it and decided to check it out. We were not disappointed by it. We found the chips rather delicious in a unique way, so do check the chips out.

We came for dinner after the Real ale wobble event, there were loads of us! The staff were really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The food was nice and served promptly. They were also so accommodating of our kids, they have such a nice little area for my toddler to keep herself occupied in. Such a lovely café, will be coming back next event!

I organised for a group of hikers to visit the lovely area of Llanwrtyd Wells and we were warmly welcomed at Caffi Sosban by Lesley and Lynn. They sorted out scrumptious rolls and cakes - and delicious coffee - for the 16 hungry & thirsty souls who descended upon them. I recommend the café's pretty riverside garden too, if 'al fresco' is your thing!

The minute we walked in, we felt we were bothering them. While the food was good for Llanwrtdy Wells, the service was abysmal. We ordered 3 items and only one of our orders was correct. We didn't ask for the correction and ate without complaint. The third lunch came way after we finished our sandwiches. No apology and in addition, it was not what we ordered. Unfriendly vibe, but the outdoor seating was near the water so that was nice.

Arrived on the train for a cycling trip over the Cambrian mountains. It was before 12pm and breakfast was being served. An good quality breakfast with proper bacon and a pot of leaf tea was served swiftly, on a hot plate and with care for grease-free presentation. Friendly and cheerful.

I visited after arriving on the morning train last Saturday. The cafe did not seem busy and I sat outside in a pleasant garden. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast at £7 which includes a big and importantly very hot coffee. Everything was served quickly by friendly staff, the breakfast was massive and included home made items, really tasty. Such good value, made a great start to my trip. Visit this place!

Go somewhere else if you want vegan or dairy free. Or aren’t hungry! I ordered Earl grey tea without milk. Was given normal tea in a pot with milk but NO CUP which wasn’t the girl we asked for one fault as she didn’t make up the tray.

We visited today and think this place is a real gem! The food was plentiful and good value but we really enjoyed the surroundings. You won't find more beautiful covid screens anywhere and the stained glass window is stunning. The staff were friendly and a great selection of cakes available. We hope to visit again some day.

Wow what a lovely little cafe. We found this cafe on our way back home and I’m so glad we did. We ordered a breakfast barm and the quality of the bacon and sausage was fantastic especially for the price! Shame I didn’t take a photo!

We have just had the most delicious lunch here. We stumbled upon the cafe after really struggling to find anywhere decent to eat all weekend (we are a veggie family). The quiche was to die for and came with a great salad. My husband had 'the best baguette he's ever eaten'. My kids had plenty of choice too, beans on toast egg on toast etc. The cheesy chips were unreal. So many cakes to choose from! If I didn't have my skinny jeans on I would have tried them all! Currently enjoying a really nice latte on route home. Super lovely staff to, very friendly. See you next year and thank you x

Joined a group of friends for Christmas lunch which was absolutely excellent with a more than plentiful choice of beautifully cooked veg, the portions were generous and then the following dessert, a winter fruits pavlova was to die for. Vegetarians amongst the clientele enjoyed a nut roast.Staff had entered into the Christmas spirit and a good time was had by all.Thank you Kate & Dave for providing a very enjoyable occasion.

Over the weekend of the real ale wobble we ate here both the friday and saturday night. The pizzas were great, lovely hot chocolate and brilliant friendly service. This is a good cafe and it was great they opened evenings over the weekend for the event. When back in the area we will definitely come back. Reasonably priced as well.

My wife and I came across this gem on bank holiday Monday. Llanwrtyd Wells was far from bustling, which made it the ideal place to be on manic Monday.Caffi Sospan was a gem of a place. The staff were really friendly. Menu was principally burgers and varieties of bread (sandwiches, baguettes, ciabatta etc). There were a number of other dishes too, catering for vegans with an enticing bean and paprika stew being among them.Seeing it was a glorious day, we went for burgers in the riverside garden. The Sospan burger meal (pictured) was great value at £7.50. The pork burger with wasabi and ginger relish was so tasty. The burgers were homemade, as most things appeared to be. Substantial, hearty fare.I viewed a couple of very heavy laden baguettes at another table, and made a mental note for next time.Brilliant find.

Visited Caffi Sosban with my husband, in-laws and toddler. We found a great table to sit at, and there were loads of toys for the little one to play with. We were made to feel very welcome, which is always a great start. The food was very tasty - I had ham, eggs and chips, and the ham was so thick and generously portioned. The chips were extremely tasty, and I'm pretty fussy about chips. Coffee and tea all excellent. We didn't have any cake but they looked amazing. Highly recommend Caffi Sosban :)

This is half way between Oswestry & Tenby where we were going. Found this by accident & so glad we did. My veggie breakfast had the BEST veggie sausages ever (Glmorgan). Service can be slow if there is only the chap on, but he is really helpful. The cafe is clean & friendly. It is very small though, so at busy times you won't get a seat. The toilets are down a flight of stairs, but are really clean. My only criticism is that the drink are served AFTER your food & I would like it first. Will be stopping here every year we go to Tenby now.

Visited Caffi Sosban with a party of 12, staff were friendly and the food was very good. I had a delicious vegetarian quiche with a great mixed salad (not your usual lettuce leaf and half tomato). Others had ham and chips - huge slices of ham. Lovely selection of home made cakes and puddings. I would visit again.

I popped in here for a cup of tea after a long walk with my dog and ended up having a slice of the coffee and walnut cake as it would have been rude not to. A waitress delivered the order downstairs to the garden where I was sat, admiring the plants and the view of the river. Very friendly staff, and they don't skimp on portion sizes, and the cake was lovely. They provided plenty of water for my dog, and dogs are welcomed indoors and in the garden. It was so good, I ended up going back the next day!

We called in here for an evening meal during the man v horse event held recently. The cafe was still busy around 8 o clock but we were served quickly - scampi for myself and the cheeseburger meal for my partner. Efforts were made to accommodate dietary requirements which meant not having the burger bun, although there was an offer of a gluten free bun. Overall a great size portion served by friendly staff during a busy period.

Overlooking the river Irfon, in Llanwrtyd wells. couldnt sit in the garden overlooking this river as it was a bit cold.. Didn't look much from the outside, though the menu looked appetising and the cakes etc...on display looked mouth watering. The welcome was warm, and staff attentive and helpful. We had soup with generous amount of bread and cheese. Very tasty and good to look at. Very good value for money too. Finished with a cup of tea, poured from a proper teapot; lovely surprise was that the brew was from tea leaves NOT tea bags which I hate!! Try it. You won't be disappointed.

I was there last month. The people at Caffi Sosban told us that they have opened exactly one year ago. They were so busy baking all these nice cakes that they did not even had the time to celebrate. I sang happy birthday to them. The food is very very good, the people are very nice.If you are in the area make some room in your tummy. You will not regret it! The website was still under construction when we asked. They invested all their time in the great food.

We stopped here for morning coffee and cake and feel like we found a little gem. Excellent (really, excellent) mocha coffees and hot chocolate, scones with jam and cream, and spiced fruit cake. The café has only opened recently and everything is still spick and span. Menu for snacks and lunches looked good too. The garden overlooks the river and would lovely on a sunny day. Would definitely stop here again if we are ever in town. However - we nearly missed it completely, as we approached from the bridge, and the signs are all facing the other way on the side street! Don't miss it, you won't be disappointed.

Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.
