Excellent hot chocolate! Very hot and very chocolately! Add a chocolate Tiffin for the full chocolate extravaganza. Well deserved if you have just walked on the beach and climbed the hill back up.

I do not believe I have visited anywhere so beautiful in the uk in my entire life, the beach was spotless, the views are amazing. There are no amount of words that I could use to describe this location. There is a pub on the beach front which serves good food, toilets were clean.

Ok, so I'm late to the party 19 years this has been open, and I've driven passed approximately 600 times in that period and never stopped. But today I was on foot, and surprisingly childless and suggested to hubby I'd like to try it out. AOMG I've been missing out. Friendly, quirky, great service, great food.7 DOG ICECREAM! Had a couple of Paninis had a lovely time...would highly recommend. Will be back, possibly tomorrow.

Visited today. Looks very nice and clean. Food was good, but that’s where it ended. Being disabled you may need some help. Had to go to counter to ask for a. Menu. The menu didn’t includes any drinks. Had to return to the counter to view drinks menu from the entrance. Had to get help to join the Wifi, passwords on a very small card behind the counter, very hard to read, had to ask for assistance. When we paid we were encouraged to pay by cash. Asked for a receipt to enable myself to reclaim expenses, this was refused. I was told that they do not give receipts. Very suspect. Would be interesting to see tax return.

The cafe is a pleasant hut with clean loos and seems promising. However the girls there more or less ignore the customers and seem to be there for a chat between themselves. I have been several times and they always find some excuse or other to not bother making the breakfast items. When the owner is present, they work better. It depends.

One member of staff was looking at social media on her phone, whilst her colleagues were talking amongst themselves. There wasn't any urgency to serve or acknowledge customers. We always call in after a good walk and we keep going back. The coffees are excellent along with most of the cakes & sandwiches but the scones aren’t the best. They don’t taste or look home-made and when I asked for one with jam & cream it was poor. The butter was in a lump as was the jam, instead of being spread out, and the cream was whipped rather than clotted. The rest of our food was very good cafe standard. The staff are very friendly & helpful

No indoor seating due to covid restrictions currently but there are plenty outdoor benches and a small play area for young children. Coffee and pancakes can't be beaten here! Gosh reading the other reviews, I feel like I'm writing about a completely different place so maybe I caught them on a bad day. Because of covid rules we had to sit outside which was fine, there are nice views. We ordered two sandwiches, one brown, one white. It seemed like we were putting them out by asking if im honest. At £4.50 each we expected at least fresh bakery bread with maybe a little bit of salad or something but what we actually got were two slices of supermarket bread with little filling in a white paper bag thrown onto our table. Just seemed expensive for what we got so we won't be going again.

came here today with my siste and our kids and we had some gorgeus waffles. icecream and pancakes.I paid just over £8 for a can of lemonade, icecream on a cone, a cone for the baby and 3 pancakes which I think is a reasonable price. There was a one way system in place due to covid. The staff were pleasant enough. The toilet is in a shed outside and could do with a sign to be honest as I had to go in and ask. Toilet was covered in poo which wasnt very nice. good job im a nurse and im used to it haha! I have messaged the owner regarding the gate to the play area. I was holding my not quite 1 year old and my son went first however its a good job I was concentrating because the gate swung back and would of hit my babys face if I didnt stop it from swining any further. theres nothing to stop the gate to close its just a spring therefore swings out which is dangerous and someone will get hurt if its not sorted. The play area could do with some swings or something. however we came here for a treat of the waffles etc which were lovely. will be back

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We didn't know the area and didn't see other places other than a costcutter so went in. The people were pleasant enough but the price of the food was ridiculous.£6 for a plain sandwich (i.e. Two slices of hovis and whatever filler and some garnish) and £6.50 for a toastie (same bread and fillers just toasted). I honestly thought I was being trolled. I'd expect homemade baked bread for a toastie. It's not even like this is an exclusive area. I'd expect to pay this in London, not Nefyn. Do yourself a favour and just bring a packed lunch. We spent £34 on effectively 8 slices of Warburtons, some ham and cheese slices and a coffee. There's not even any toilets you can use.

A delicious end to a lovely week in Nefyn. Once packed up and keys back in the box we popped in here for breakfast on the way home. 2 full breakfasts (bacon, sausage, fried egg, mushrooms, black pudding, beans, toast. A bagel with scrambled egg and bacon for the lightweight! . All washed down with tea and latte. I cannot fault the quality and quantity - hot, fresh and even the tea stayed hot in the teapot to the end. Not the cheapest but very good value for what we got. Go on treat yourselves. We did and wish we had gone earlier in the week for lunch and a cheeky wine.

Lovely coffee. Good for bunch. Try to support local businesses and when ever we are in the area we stop off at Caffi Porthdinllaen.

I don't mind paying more for food if it is good and tasty but must say that I felt very ripped off after this visit. £16.10 for one tea, one camomile tea bag and one hot chocolate, and three portions of chips. The chips were the frozen thin french fry type, very small portions that were completely tasteless and served in a small bowl not much bigger that a cup. We smothered them in vinegar to try to add some taste. At £3 per serving (no sign of a price list before ordering although they had price codes on a menu that didn't mean anything to us) we were astonished at how this could be justified. Service could have been better too. This is the first time of writing a bad review, and needless to say, we won't be returning.

We stopped here for lunch and sat outside looking over the harbour with a great view of the bridge. The service was very good and the staff welcoming and friendly. We soon had our lunch which were freshly made sandwiches with salad and crisps. Delicious! Glad to have eaten here and enjoy the lovely views!.
