Relaxed, family-run small café. A decent selection of light bites, cakes and ice creams to suit a variety of needs. Service was friendly and food and drinks were good. Everything looked clean and tidy and it was nice to see that staff seemed to enjoy their work.

The cafe is a pleasant hut with clean loos and seems promising. However the girls there more or less ignore the customers and seem to be there for a chat between themselves. I have been several times and they always find some excuse or other to not bother making the breakfast items. When the owner is present, they work better. It depends.

Called in after a walk along coastal path. There were at least 4 members of staff behind the counter, none of whom seemed interested in serving me (i was the only customer waiting to be served). One member of staff was looking at social media on her phone, whilst her colleagues were talking amongst themselves. There wasn't any urgency to serve or acknowledge customers. I gave up waiting and left without being served. - Very poor customer service

We always call in after a good walk and we keep going back. The coffees are excellent along with most of the cakes & sandwiches but the scones aren’t the best. They don’t taste or look home-made and when I asked for one with jam & cream it was poor. The butter was in a lump as was the jam, instead of being spread out, and the cream was whipped rather than clotted. The rest of our food was very good cafe standard. The staff are very friendly & helpful

Been here a few times after doing the golf club walk. Sausage butty's are lovely and tea was piping hot. She was lovely and said to take the food and drop the money in the next day (which we did) salad was fresh, and had plenty of ham inside. Will definitely return 👍👍

No indoor seating due to covid restrictions currently but there are plenty outdoor benches and a small play area for young children. Coffee and pancakes can't be beaten here! And they have a posh converted cargo container to beat the queues in the cafe if you fancy a locally made ice cream too before you head on your walk over the Porthdinlaen peninsula!

Gosh reading the other reviews, I feel like I'm writing about a completely different place so maybe I caught them on a bad day. Because of covid rules we had to sit outside which was fine, there are nice views. We ordered two sandwiches, one brown, one white. It seemed like we were putting them out by asking if im honest. At £4.50 each we expected at least fresh bakery bread with maybe a little bit of salad or something but what we actually got were two slices of supermarket bread with little filling in a white paper bag thrown onto our table. Just seemed expensive for what we got so we won't be going again.

came here today with my siste and our kids and we had some gorgeus waffles. icecream and pancakes.I paid just over £8 for a can of lemonade, icecream on a cone, a cone for the baby and 3 pancakes which I think is a reasonable price. There was a one way system in place due to covid. The staff were pleasant enough. The toilet is in a shed outside and could do with a sign to be honest as I had to go in and ask. Toilet was covered in poo which wasnt very nice. good job im a nurse and im used to it haha! I have messaged the owner regarding the gate to the play area. I was holding my not quite 1 year old and my son went first however its a good job I was concentrating because the gate swung back and would of hit my babys face if I didnt stop it from swining any further. theres nothing to stop the gate to close its just a spring therefore swings out which is dangerous and someone will get hurt if its not sorted. The play area could do with some swings or something. however we came here for a treat of the waffles etc which were lovely. will be back

We stopped here for a quick lunch. We didn't know the area and didn't see other places other than a costcutter so went in. The people were pleasant enough but the price of the food was ridiculous.£6 for a plain sandwich (i.e. Two slices of hovis and whatever filler and some garnish) and £6.50 for a toastie (same bread and fillers just toasted). I honestly thought I was being trolled. I'd expect homemade baked bread for a toastie. It's not even like this is an exclusive area. I'd expect to pay this in London, not Nefyn. Do yourself a favour and just bring a packed lunch. We spent £34 on effectively 8 slices of Warburtons, some ham and cheese slices and a coffee. There's not even any toilets you can use.

A delicious end to a lovely week in Nefyn. Once packed up and keys back in the box we popped in here for breakfast on the way home. 2 full breakfasts (bacon, sausage, fried egg, mushrooms, black pudding, beans, toast. A bagel with scrambled egg and bacon for the lightweight! . All washed down with tea and latte. I cannot fault the quality and quantity - hot, fresh and even the tea stayed hot in the teapot to the end. Not the cheapest but very good value for what we got. Go on treat yourselves. We did and wish we had gone earlier in the week for lunch and a cheeky wine.

I don't mind paying more for food if it is good and tasty but must say that I felt very ripped off after this visit. £16.10 for one tea, one camomile tea bag and one hot chocolate, and three portions of chips. The chips were the frozen thin french fry type, very small portions that were completely tasteless and served in a small bowl not much bigger that a cup. We smothered them in vinegar to try to add some taste. At £3 per serving (no sign of a price list before ordering although they had price codes on a menu that didn't mean anything to us) we were astonished at how this could be justified. Service could have been better too. This is the first time of writing a bad review, and needless to say, we won't be returning.

Popped in for tea and cake. Smelt of fresh wood inside & out which was nice. Good service. Not a huge selection of cakes but enough to choose a cream scone & a blond brownie. 2 teas. All came to just under £10. Not cheap but I would return.

Always used to use this Café for a Coffee or an ice cream. We went for the first time since the refurbishment which is good but could not believe we were charged £6.60 for 2 cones of ice cream. That was after we were directed to a gazebo round the back of the cafe to choose our ice creams. Needless to say we will unfortunately not be returning.

As we walked in it seemed a bit unfriendly, but that did change. We all had hot drinks, tea, cappuccino, latte. All were very nice drinks. Right next to National Trust car park, so parked car first as limited parking at cafe. We normally have cake but wasn't much selection on show - but admittedly, we didn't ask - so probably our fault.

Lovely looking cafe, but some oddities! Menu was a hand-written, and quite crumpled A4 piece of paper near the till. No menu with details of drinks that were available. Service incredibly slow, and even placing an order seemed to take forever whilst the staff entered everything into a laptop. We were there in the morning, and saw all the fresh buns arrive, so were looking forward to coming back in the afternoon. they were as good as they looked, but I have to admit taht I woudl not have bought one had I just seen them....I am really not into slices of cake that are individually wrapped up in cling film (just a personal thing!).Nice range of drinks, but just very, very slow to bring it over. Also, asked for milk for my 5 year-old and, on the first occasion was presented with what must have been over half a pint, and the second time was a full glass (looked like over 2/3 pint!). Needless to say, he did not manage it!Small play area outside. Spotless loos, although you do get a chilly bum!!!!
