Great place for a delicious breakfast, brunch (with the best coffee in town) when waiting for your train, business lunch or dinner with friends or family before going to the theater or the city. The food is always prepared with focus on the detail and does not disappoint. Service is professional and friendly! Would definitely recommend!

We had a dirty fork and the owner was more annoyed that we had mentioned rather than happy to change it. Food expensive and average, much better cafes and restaurants around at more reasonable prices, floor in toilet was dirty too, not a good impression, makes you think the kitchens are probably dirty too.

I’ve lived in Southampton for many years and I’ve just heard of the sad news about this place that is due to close down via the Echo. It’s been a pillar of the community for years and offered food to the needy, a place to relax and enjoy all things art related. I hope there may be an opportunity for an alternative venue elsewhere in the future. Good luck.

1 Guildhall SquareFood was not tried that day. I went for a few cocktails with my friends. The service was exceptional. The staff very friendly. The environment was chilled.

1 South Western HouseFuimos a una fiesta de Navidad de obras qué lugar tan fabuloso para empezar, la comida de 3 platos estaba bien presentada, delicioso no tenía un curso tan divino en años. Todo el personal atento, servicial y educado. Tenía cantante y un DJ que proporcionaba gran entretenimiento. Nos hizo bailar a todos. Luego abajo había otro DJ que era fenomenal y bailamos el resto de la noche. Esperamos que estemos reservados para volver el año que viene.

123-125 Above Bar StreetI have booked the third floor for a private event (wedding party) for May '24, we paid our deposit and suddenly the restaurant closed without being contacted directly to let us know this will happen and to give us our money back, neither to be aware that we will have to find another place for our wedding party! We keep sending emails to head quarters and no answer. YOU STOLE FROM US. WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK!!!!!!

61 Commercial RoadA gorgeous venue is being wasted by incompetent staff. Hugely overpriced - nearly £16 for one beer and one wine. The bartender tried to mix two different pinot rose wines with totally different labels in my glass and only didn't do so when I challenged her. We were ignored on several occasions at the bar - I had to say excuse me twice to get attention when the manager (!) and another bartender were doing things like fixing one of the two tills. I challenged the prices and the wine issue with the manager and was offered nothing by way of apology. DON'T GO unless you want to be treated poorly and rudely and also get ripped off by extortionate prices in the process.
