Terrible staff, extremely rude practicality threw my knife and fork on the table The crepe was overpriced and not even cooked well. Definitely worst crepe I’ve had in my life. Was dry and undercooked. The atmosphere is absolutely rancid. Save your money and avoid like tuberculosis

Absolutely going downhill! I have visited this place at least 20 times in the past 8 years or so. They use to be quite good in terms of the quality for "cioccolata densa" - Italian thick hot chocolate. But my recent visit (1st March 2020) disappointed me. I have ordered 5 cups of hot chocolate with family. None of them is near the thickness you'd expect from cioccolata densa. And the lady serving them refuse to admit that this is not thick enough but saying the previous ones were too thick.

Absolutely delicious coffee, highly recommend a trip here for a very nice morning, afternoon enjoying the delicacies here. So put your feet up, grab a newspaper or your phone & enjoy your time. xXx

Rude staff, dreadful staff in fact. I'm still waiting for a response from a complaint lodged in 2017! There are so many better and more reasonably priced places near this place so avoid like the plague!

I held a drinks night for my clients here and can say of the many venues we have hosted drinks evenings, this was a standout. Andreea was very organised and helpful to make the evening run smoothly.

Going there at least once a week in the last 3 years. The service it's excellent, the mocha amazing and the hot chocolate 1882 with no milk it's divine. Seriously why this chain doesn't start entering in competitions of hot chocolate! I have been to the best 10 best hot chocolates caffees edited by " The Time out" here in london and none comes even close!!

Rude staff, learn about other currency notes in the UK. Slow to serve and two inches of head on a beer.

Can I give zero star for the rude and clearly racist staffs?

This is a bit of a confusing catch-all place but it has its good things. I went under the impression that it'd be a coffee shop but ended up having beer and realising they also have Italian food. The decor is a bit conservative-standard for my taste but the staff were nice enough and the beer selection was quite nice. Moreover, the place was almost empty on a Wednesday at 6pm so ideal for a good conversation without having to yell at the other person

One of my favourite bars to visit as it's generally quieter than the bars surrounding it. Great german lagers on tap, snacks are good. Always friendly and fun staff.

Best coffee I had in London. Right amount of caffeine, not too acidic.

I wanted to marry this bella macchinetta, and the barista from Massa--Carrara working its improbable knobs. That didn't come out right. But the coffee did, and the pastry was good too. (If you must drink coffee outside of Italy, go for Vergnano, as served here.)

Oh dear, one star- and here is why: We came at around 3pm, place was very quiet. Two girls behind the bar were talking to two young chaps sitting at the edge of the bar. After 10 min wait, we finally sat down, hoping to finally be served that way. The staff was uninterested. When we complained, one girl got a hump and the other said there is no table service. Quite clearly there is neither. We left and had a lovely time in a pub around the corner. Bad customer service= lost revenue. I simply refuse to be served by miserable staff who are paid to make my experience amazing.

Sehr nettes Café im Herzen Londons und in direkter Nähe zum Theaterviertel. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut, verglichen mit der Lage und der Qualität des Kaffees ist es sehr gut und daher zu empfehlen. Das ganze ist in direkter Nähe zur U-Bahn Station Leicester Square, daher gut zu erreichen beziehungsweise gut vor der Weiterreise.

I actually went for alcohol drinks. Which were well made and strong enough! They also had started happy hour on cocktails which was a nice surprise!

We reached the place at 22.50 on Friday night because we knew from the website it was going to close at midnight. When we ask for a table they told us they were closing in a really rude way. Never again.

Very poor costumer service, low quality products and very overpriced ( 14 pounds for a chicken salad, chicken freshness questionable, and not even much !! ), lack of skills and politeness from the tall female manager. Don't waste your money here... better and cheaper places near by !

very bad place, they fire people like they don t care about the owner s business, they treat employees as machines not as humanbeen. the responsable are always away as soon it gets busy ! music wrong for the afternoon and i am Very disappointed! but staff there still amazing. the black fella is an incompetent and unprofessional manager.

Pleasant place, coffee is nothing special. The food is distinctly average. They do serve good German beer on tap strangely enough! Not a bad place to do a quick bit of work if you can get a seat (there aren't many).

Service was nice, and it's in a great spot, but took so long for the meals to come out my wife had to cancel hers as we were going to a show. My sausage pasta was like watered down paper...and then no matter what amount of salt and pepper and parmesan I put on it...I couldn't resurrect it... Cocktails were nice and the beers were cold.

One of the best espresso I've tasted in London, coming with a small bite of chocolate. Helpful and friendly staff. Small place with limited sitting. If you buy coffee beans and wear your best smile, you'll get a handful of small chocolates :-)

This is marvellous restaurant; food excellent and not too expensive; ambience lovely; waiters attentive and pleasant; hot chocolate WONDERFUL. I love it!

The staff was excellent. Then food a bit expensive but tasted really good. the icecream was heaven! Went here for 3 days outta 6 on our trip to london. Would go here more :)

Simply awful. We only ordered pizza and pasta dishes that anywhere else would have taken minutes to arrive. Here they took an hour to deliver some of the food. Our childrens meals arrived 15 minutes later still! When the food did arrive, two of the dishes were totally inedible, one due to having far too much salt the other was not cooked. Quite simply the worst dining experience I have had in years.

Pizzas are not really good. Not bad but it's expansive and far from a real italian pizza. We waited a long time. My coffee was really bad, small and expansive,. My friend's tea had sugar in it so she didn't drink it. There is nothing italian in this restaurant exept the langages of the waiters. Bad experience for me.

I'm always looking for a nice espresso macchiato. Very well presented and rich macchiato.

Loved my mocha the last time I was here. Fair prices and great quality. Loves the smoothness of their Italian coffee that complemented the rich chocolate. Their Italian hot chocolate is potent, so if you are used to having the milk-based hot choc, do ask for it with milk. Otherwise, go all the way and sip the decadent drink on a cold winter's day. Service was tad slow. That's all.
