magnificent place, the owner welcomed us with so much kindness and professionalism. The coffee is better than the south London area and the sandwiches gourmet are made with Italian ingridients. I highly recommend having a nice brunch! you won't regret it. Ingridients, are the best I never had in London

Panini was a somewhat disappointing. They used to have proper fresh ciabatta, now the bread is like something you would bulk buy from a supermarket, stodgy and tough. Filling was very sparse as well, so, when I’m paying over £16.00 for a panini and a coffee, I expect it to be better. It s a shame as I like to support local businesses, but feel like I’ve been fleeced this time. Hope the owner gets to read this.

I have lived in the area for a number of years, and until a couple of weeks ago, regularly picked up a coffee from Caffe Salva. Coffee is great, and reliable, but unfortunately the outside space has been increasingly dirty on my recent visits - with cigarettes, tissues and cardboard everywhere! Not great when I bring my kids, and is a real shame. When I've walked past before and after opening hours, the rubbish is still there! Cafe should do more to leave a clean environment to the local residents that support it!

Amazing quality coffee, the best in the area. Support independent coffee shops, especially when the staff are so friendly and the drinks are spot on. Keep up the good work.

This is a long overdue review for this fantastic cafe. I have been coming here every day for over 2 years since the day it opened for coffee. Apart from the fantastic coffee, delicious panini (photo attached is half of the new special the "Firenze" which I took home, would also recommend the "Salva" and the "Calabria") and fantastic Italian produce...what makes this my favourite is the very friendly and charming owner Filipo. He is exceptionally knowledgeable about all of his produce and will quite happily explain the provenance and produce of the coffee beans and the delicious cheeses, meats, olive oil etc that are sourced from Italy. Above all he is exceptionally kind hearted and makes a special effort with my daughter when she comes with me. She recently bought her a fantastic chocolate cake. As the weather is getting warmer I would thoroughly suggest you check this place out, sit outside and have a coffee or one of the great painini and gelato returning soon. Molte grazie Filipo per essere un grande amico! Just popped in here today for a coffee and a panino. Asked Filipo to surprise me and made me "The Cassano" special for me. Absolutely delicious. Not going to divulge what is in it - suggest you try many of the fantastic ones on the menu board, but a couple of photos attached of my wonderful lunch. Molte grazie Filipo

This little cafe is in a side street opposite the tube station. Unpretentious, with great coffee and excellent cake. What more could you want

As I live round the corner I just walked in & ordered a bacon, sausage, egg & mushroom toasted sandwich/bloomer to take away. A few mins later when I returned home I will say it was "absolutely & incredibly cooked, sliced, layered & presented to perfection". A non branded local cafe serving great breakfasts using quality products. Overall compared to other cafes it wasn't a breakfast toasted sandwich that was just thrown together.

The commanding corner pub only a short walk from St. Matthews church in Brixton. Unfortunately, we were greeted with full-on football crowd when on arrival, but once the game was over and the rowdy intimidating clientele dissipated it became more bearable. Bizarrely they don't sell prosecco in large bottles, only expensive tiddly ones. The kitchen was broken or having a day off.
