We love this place. Always our first and last call at Meadowhall. Lovely, friendly service with a smile. Excellent tea and coffee. Tasty breakfast and a delicious range of cakes .The tables are always clean. Everything is beautifully presented.

Ordered a aperol spritz and the mixamatologist ( bartender ) Alex was amazing a consummate professional. He made numerous cocktails whilst I was drinking. Definitely worth a visit

Very average food for the price they charge. Coffee was burnt and it was certainly not a flat white, more like a cappuccino.

Update: Unfortunately this restaurant has gone downhill really fast. Three weeks ago we sat down and waited 30 minutes and no-one came. Today we tried again and ordered three mains, only two mains came. We had to ask to remove the third main from the bill and the staff couldn’t care less that this has happened. This restaurant feels abandoned by management like it’s about to close down. Old 5-star review: The food is great and very good value. The drinks are amazing. The staff are quick and helpful, and you have the option to pay at the till if you don’t want to wait for the bill. They also have an excellent all-day breakfast menu including full cooked and eggs Benedict and Royale (with salmon).

This is my favourite place to drink and eat at Meadow Hall. Today i had a tuna mayonaise sandwich with a side salad and crisps, a cappuccino & a glass of water. Normally I enjoy a Belini. It's always service with a smile here and the food is lovely. Although their sandwiches are tasty, I always recommend their pasta dishes accompanied by a belini or cocktail of your choice. 😊 Give Cafe Rizzoli a try, you won't be disappointed!

I only had a pot of tea 🫖 here due to some trouble with the tram 🚃 not running for 1.5hrs 😩 but the waitress Anna & staff were lovely and I really appreciated it. I was quite stressed out and upset and she let me sit there for an hour til it was ok. I hope the management see this review. Thank you ☺️

Lovely staff. I love the open-air style of this little restaurant. My daughter loves their babyccino’s. Prices are reasonable too. It’s honestly one of the few peaceful places to relax and refuel while shopping in Meadowhall.

Afternoon tea with sparkling wine was fabulous

Every time we go to Meadowhall we visit rizzoli but no more the service was terrible when I complained the person in charge did not seam really bothered very poor

Ordered Prawn and avocado sandwich which was tasteless. Never eaten anything so bland. Iced Frappe was ok. Presentation was good and staff lovely. I was asked if everything was OK and I did say it was the most taste less sandwich I had ever had. They gave 20% discount which was a token gesture. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Probably one of the best tiramisu I had, coffee was decent ( cappuccino). Recommended.

Loved the ambience and seating. This place is also a specialised prosecco bar. The service is quick and engaging. Rizzoli is the perfect place to meet which provides a premium dining experience

We met our daughter, from Nuneaton, at Meadowhall-she was shopping with Pat. We decided to have coffees and tea in Caffe Rizzoli. Very nice and relaxing. A good start to a shopping trip!

Went for afternoon tea very much disappointed very poor cake selection in fact no cake selection . One strawberry cake each . Such a shame because past experiences of food we rated it highly . Wouldn’t recommend for afternoon tea

First time here and enjoyed it very much. Service was very good, friendly and attentive staff. Food arrived very quickly, in fact at the same time as our drinks! Although the menu was good I feel it’s overpriced tbh.

Went for early morning tea and hot chocolate and really nice venue and not expensive.Cost £6 for pot of tea and hot chocolate with cream.Will try food next time.

Disappointing lunch. Ordered a king prawn and avocado salad. One cherry tomato and 1 slice of cucumber. 6 prawns and some lettuce! Very pathetic excuse for a salad and as such over priced.

Stumbled across this place in Meadowhall and decided to give it a go. Shared a pizza and garlic bread and it was the nicest pizza and garlic bread I’ve ever eaten! Had a cappuccino too which was lovely. Was a great spot and nice to people watch. Great staff and service. Will definitely be back!!

We love Italy and its 'Al Fresco' café culture, so how do you experience this in a shopping centre? Just visit Caffè Rizzoli in the atrium on Park Lane in Meadowhall. Caffè Rizolli is so successful in creating a 'virtual' outdoor atmosphere. Our reviewer had a busy day and stopped for a quick Americano coffee... it was just that... Sherwin the waitress was fast, efficient and very polite in taking our order. In fact the whole team were excellent in serving the coffee very promptly and dealing with the bill when asked. This place is café restaurant with a very interesting menu of light plates and sandwiches. They have with a wonderful selection of desserts on show, and Italian ice cream to go. It is also licensed, a prosecco bar and we very much look forward to returning with some more time on our hands!

Very cute little café/restaurant. I’ve got to say, I’ve drank A LOT of coffee in my life but the ‘Cappuccino Viennese’ from Caffe Rizzoli may be up there with the best. I HIGHLY recommend for coffee lovers. The café itself is extremely well presented, not something you would expect to be nested in the middle of a shopping centre. Lovely stop off when you need a break and caffeine boost while shopping!

Stopped here in the afternoon for a couple of drinks before our meal and it was lovely, the young man serving us was very professional and polite, it was busy but we didn't have to wait long at all, I would definitely go back and visit again.

I used to love this place they have great coffe. My recently two visits though… they used to serve tiramisu niecely now its just a piece on a huge plate Not even straight… No decoration whatsoever.. the cakes last two times tasted old as well.. so i dont know if management changed or staff changed but defrinity something is not Ok at the minute… they used to bring the bill to the table, yesterday i asked for the bill and after several minutes of waiintg had to ask again to be told to go to the tills… its not a big deal but the service used to be much better a few months ago….

Hello rizoli, I’d like to say how truly amazing this place is. Had two cocktails served by the brilliant Adam and Milgram, what stars they are! Milgram treated us with respect and served us swiftly and efficiently. Adam is an absolute unit. What a guy xx

We were forgotten. Waited 15 minutes after being seated. No-one took our order or acknowledged they would be with us. Other customers seated after us were served in advance of us. We left and even at that point no-one acknowledged us. Poor management for being understaffed to meet demand.

30th December. Abiding by the sign wait to be seated.five of us stood several minutes totally ignored by the young girl. Who was standing inches from us . She never acknowledged us at all . Very upsetting and totally rude .we will never attempt to use this place again .

I visited for the first time today and sadly won't visit again. This seemed the perfect place as there was only a small queue compared to the massive Oasis queues. Prices were on the higher side but based on the reviews that seemed okay. Firstly the staff are very friendly, the menu is varied and the atmosphere is good. The food somewhat lets it down and the quality does too (at least in our case). Scrambled eggs were inedible (in fairness this was taken off the bill). They were very clearly microwaved as they were in the shape of a bowl when they came. They were like rubber. £7 for two eggs and a slice of toast. Burger was totally fine in quality but not a £15 burger. It was very thin (3oz perhaps) and served with 5 roast potatoes. Mozorella 'sandwich' was a slice of bread with a few tomatoes and mozorella. Not sure if i expected too much from the word 'sandwich'. Hand cut crisps are literally straight from a bag of Tyrells or Walkers. Again, £9 for this. I totally get that prices have massively gone up but its not so bad when the quality or at least portion size is there but in this case it wasn't. The kitchen is tiny under the stairs so granted there's limits but this was worth nowhere near £40.

Visited 23.12.22 for my birthday lunch very disappointing food I ordered tuna cold sandwich the bread was soggy i don't knownif it was undercooked but it was pretty awful my husband ordered chicken parmigiana which was supposed to have rosemary potatoes chips came with the meal the crust on the chicken was soggy not crisp as it should have been informed manager he offered us a drink by way of compensation which we accepted

Visited here for a spot of lunch I tried the tomatoe and herb pasta and a glass of prosseco Pasta was sent back as it was hard and chewy they bought out another By which time me husband had eaten his meal .unfortunately the 2nd pasta was the same Chewy and very bland So I ended up having nothing Staff just looked blank and said sorry about that and my husband paid for what we had and we left Definetly will not be going back there!! It was honestly like tasteless reheated microwave food Dreadful .

Manager was really rude, rolled his eyes when I asked for a table for one and ordered me to sit down. A waitress came to take my order, but didn’t actually speak English and didn’t understand what I was ordering so had to wait for a new waitress and place my order again. It’s also incredibly noisy due to the location. What I had was quite nice, but very over priced. Wouldn’t return even if it had been amazing and cheap though, due to the manager

Great place to call I for a coffee and snack or light lunch. Its different to the usual bland big coffee houses and its an OK price too!

Called in for a spot of lunch whilst Christmas shopping, when ordering asked if the scones contained nuts as one of our party is allergic and were told they had no idea and that they did not have an allergy book (which is illegal). Very disappointing as we’ve been here in the past and enjoyed it.

Asked for a decaffeinated oatmilk cappuccino - within 15 minutes of drinking this, actually on the motorway driving home, felt extremely ill and realised that it wasn't decaff. Pay more attention please!! You could make someone seriously ill!!

Absolutely terrible service. Once you’ve placed your order they do not care. No check back on food, waited 25 mins to try order fresh drinks but not one person came over after making eye contact with several members of staff several times. When we finally got someone to come over she made us feel like we had put her about asking for more drinks. She didn’t even remove empty drinks from table so asked her to come back and take them and she huffed. They then brought 2 Americanos instead of White Russian cocktails. How can you get that so wrong! Absolutely shocking place, it wasn’t even busy. They’re good at making themselves look busy instead of serving customers. Food was mediocre but the cake is very good.

Bonkers icecream pricing!! The sign says 1 scoop £3, 2 scoops £4.50. I asked for chocolate and mango sorbet in one sugar cone to be told it is £6 !!! Sorry?! Yes, according to staff the £4.5 is only if the 2 scoops are of the same flavour, if you want 2 different flavours is 2 times £3. Crazy people. I said no thank you and went to Joe Delucci's where I got 2 scoops of different flavours for £4.50...

Service was awful. Ordered Cappuccino Viennese and it came looking like a normal Cappuccino which we spoke to someone about and the manager came grumpy and not apologetic about it. Our cannoli never came with the coffee too which we told him, he just came back and put the cannoli down and not said a word. Ordered grapefruit juice too and never came and not even realised until we saw the bill before paying. Just disappointed with the service but food that came was nice.

We have been coming here for years and have always enjoyed beautiful food and excellent service. How ever the last two visits have not been great. A couple of weeks ago we came and a young waiter gad taken our order. He brought our main meal out one of which we did not order then brought the appetisers out again one of which we didn’t order. The food it’s self was delicious and they gave us a free coffee and a 10% discount. So we are here again today. I order Tuscan poached salmon with Risito and my husband the chicken burger. I had notice when looking at the menu but hat there was a Tuscan poached salad so I specified with Risotto. Because I wanted a hot meal. I got the cold poached salmon with salad. When the waiter came he said it was confusing because there was one with salad and one with risotto. That is why I specified Risotto. My meal was taken away no problem but by the time my ordered meal arrived my husband had finished his meal. There was no apology at all Unfortunately think this will be the last time here as the service is not what it used to be. A shame because he food has always been delicious.

We call here most Saturdays and have a breakfast, quality ingredients sausage and pancetta especially, coffee and tea very good, staff lovely, we have been spoilt now and don’t seem to care for a breakfast anywhere else.

Went here for a quick drink after shopping tirelessly for hours and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food offers were great. The drinks were a bit pricey but it's to be expected where they are selling food too. A lovely place to stop by and grab lunch.

While shopping with my friends we decide to grab a bite to eat here and it was lovely! The waitress Louisa was really helpful and nice. Try the antipasti di pesce.

Thought I’d try cafe rizzoli as somewhere new! Breakfast was very average and bland tasting! No better then a greasy spoon motorway cafe! Better places to have breakfast in Meadowhall! A bit disappointed!
