Caffe Ritazza Euston Station in Camden

Counter staff don’t seemed to be trained. Don’t bother to ask customer the size of the coffee we want ( they have 3 sizes ) but just charge us for a ‘regular ‘ which is their medium. Don’t bother to ask if customer wants a receipt Poor service attitude

Ritazzas are normally reliable. This one is grubby and down-at-heel. Friendly staff but and decent coffee, but a small, stale pastry. Badly needs new management, I think. I'll go to Prêt next time.

Paid £6.08 for a regular latte and pan u rasin which was supposed to be £1 with any coffee, still can't understand what did i pay for so much !!! Most average watery coffee or cold dry pastry!!

Get any baguettes and paninis and you can have cold or hot drinks for free, what a great deal I was really happy. Food was delicious. Very recommended.

Great place to go with lovely lunch time staff👍🏻, food was fresh and tasted great! Went there around 12 on a Saturday and got served very fast , and a lovely chat with staff and felt very comfortable , coffee was nice, hot and tasted great, not over-priced, loved it!

I went there with my friends today and we had best coffee. Savya was extremely polite and friendly she offered me the pastry for £1 which was great offer. Really happy with my visit today.

We had breakfast here 2 mornings. The service was good, the food was acceptable. The venue however is not great. The ceiling is missing in places and exposed dirty pipes are above you when you are eating. I would go again if I needed a quick bite at this location.

Overpriced but what do you expect for it being in the train station, I guess you pay for convenience. Like the other reviews, coffee not great but I've had worse. But ran for a train after ordering a sandwich and took a bite to find a massive thick black hair inside it ! Would have complained if I'd not have already got on the train, really gross normally but even more gross considering the pandemic. Not great !

I've never written a review before on anything, but having just been charged £6.24 for a small coffee and croissant, £2 more that a coffee shop at St Pancras yesterday, that did me. Don't even have brown sugar. Have they put the prices up because Pret was closed for the station reservations. Outrageous rip off.

Staff are beyond rude. I was given a medium coffee despite ordering a large, to which I simply told the server. This clearly ticked her off, as she then decided to heat my replacement coffee till the temperature of the sun and hand it to me with a loose lid (which I thankfully noticed and covered safely!). Joke's on you, I won't be coming back.

The prices of coffee displayed on their price list is different to those on the tills. When we questioned this the staff were nonchalant, rude and unhelpful, especially the manager.

Poor service with expensive prices, coffee is the only positive of this place. I come to Euston daily for my commute and never tried it before. There are other places in Euston offering good coffee and much better service. Not recommended. Not coming back.

Incredibly rude customer service, no cold drinks available, hot drinks were served lukewarm, filthy tables, staff more concerned with chatting to each other than actually doing their jobs. Save your money and find a Costa express machine instead!

Could the manager and staff address the Fruit Fly issue which plagues this cafe. You charge a lot of money for (in my opinion), bland and boring food and you're failing to address the obvious underlying hygiene issues which are causing this problem- it's disgusting!!!

Poor experience here yesterday. Asked for almond cappuccino from moody, surly server behind bar. Told they could do almond latte only. Asked why, and told they can’t froth almond milk! Told them I can, so could I come and make it?! Met with sourpuss face, but accepted my order. Cappuccino was actually ok, not brilliant but ok. Avoid this place - better coffee, and service, at AMT Coffee. And Ritazza Manager....do some staff training! Your staff are a disgrace.

Wish I'd read the reviews before I parted with my cash. Ordered a matcha latte and tuna mayo baguette. Asked for a receipt. I parted with my hard-earned cash (no receipt forthcoming). The server asked my name (for the cup), I say asked, she barked. I moved to the end of the counter and waited. And waited. And waited. I was the only customer in the queue and there were 3 staff on. Tables were busy but most people were using it as a waiting room, which is all it's really good for. Finally my drink arrived but it didn't look or smell like a matcha. IT'S A MATCHA shouts the server. Nope, it was some caramel concoction but at least it had soy and not dairy, right? I didn't have time to wait for them to make it correctly. Chased the baguette (they didn't have to make it, it was on display) and it was slung across the counter. Legged it to the platform to find the train was just departing. So I returned to this God-awful place and ate my food and drink whilst we waited for the next train. Thanks guys for the s-l-o-w service. Surly staff, more interested in chatting, yelling across the space to colleagues and checking mobiles. Never again.

Reading all the other reviews I realised I wasn’t alone. The staff here are impolite, robotic and just do not care. It actually stands out as one of the worst customer service experiences, time and again. You’d think they’d realise and do something!

When you ask for your coffee a particular way you hope that's how you will receive it - well not here. If you complain you get a shrug. Suggest you go elsewhere.

Overpriced, overcrowded freezing waiting room with what is basically a wall missing leading to.the freezer section of M&S.; It was Baltic. Never again. Awful experience. Avoid.

I find that the service is OK, but the Almond croissant I had last time was totally dry even though it was only 9am (hadn’t been sitting there for hours therefore), the guy in charge looked totally unsurprised and refunded me but not the point- if the staff are aware the pastries are dry and unchewable how do they have them out for sale. I love the croissant treat when I travel but was disappointed. What is good about it, is it is a calm space and has comfortable chairs- away from the rush of people everywhere at the weekend..

Waiting for train this cafe provides drinks and snacks. OK but slow to be served. Also seating area not set out as well as it could be.

I have never been served by a more miserable group of people in my entire life. By ordering a coffee, you are clearly presenting them with an existential problem.

Slow and disorganised service, however the quality of the food made up for that. Its got a prime spot and offers seating while you wait for your train or food/drink to go if you are more pressed for time.

Italian name a bit misleading. In effect it’s a slightly rustic Pret A Manger. Which you can take how you like. Seems one of the busier options around Euston so must have something going for it. Staff not the most engaging

My partner and I stopped off here for a coffee and a sandwich before catching our train. The range of sandwiches was quite restricted, I chose an egg and cress sandwich which was perfectly OK, but my partner felt slightly unwell after his ham and cheese roll. The procedure for preparing the coffees seemed slow and cumbersome. The atmosphere was dreary and not improved by the feeble attempt to decorate with books. Never again!

My mum and I popped in here before our journey from Euston. We expected that, because it was an actual coffee shop rather than a takeaway kiosk the service would be slower than normal and the prices might be a bit much- but we couldn’t have anticipated what we got. As we were deciding on our drinks the lady at the counter was quite snappy in asking ‘next please’, but as it was a busy time of day, that was to be expected. We ordered our drinks with soya milk which they charged more for, but many places do also. However, when putting our drinks through the till the cashier seemed to have great trouble and took quite a while. In the end she charged us for a decaf rather than soya although she did write soya on the cups. The people making the drinks seemed nice enough but were incredibly slow and didn’t seem to understand that people were waiting for their trains! When we finally got our drinks i thought to check with the woman that they were soya and she seemed perplexed with this idea! As we had only 5 minutes before our train after this ordeal we said we just wanted a refund. Although there were two tills we were told we would have to wait until they were finished serving a gentleman in the line before our refund could be processed. Then, the original cashier told us that we’d only paid and extra fifty pence for soya so she didn’t understand why we wanted a refund. That, however was besides the point because we hadn’t been given soya milk in our drinks!! Finally, after waiting for another couple of minutes we got our money back and managed to just catch the train. This was an extremely disappointing experience! Did the staff not know they were in one of London’s busiest stations?

Never seems to get busy...For a busy station, that's a plus. A range of pastries, crisps and baguettes. Decent coffee and also licenced! No queues or shoving around but a touch lacking in atmosphere!

Counter staff were offhand from the start. We quickly got the impression that they did not care whether they served us or not. Bread roll was tough and coffee tasteless.

Ok, range of drinks and refreshments with some tables and chairs. Staged to have bookcases and ornaments but in a station you just want good food and comfortable seats.

Visited twice - the first time for a very expensive glass of wine. The second I was ignored by counter staff so decided to leave. Cannot recommend.

Puede ser que no puedo evitarlo, pero lo que sigue fue el poco mal que fuimos bien/promedio de forma mala. Me aclararon el café. . Muchos de los clientes. Su feliz todavía sentado en las condiciones dusky. Puede ser que tenían en cuanto a la seguridad y la salud pero sólo me vendieron un café con leche caliente y qué debo hacer con eso significaba cuando turf todos nosotros? No ofrece de llevar taza ni nada. Lugar está todavía en la oscuridad como yo. Lección aprendida. Uso café Nero o León o en algún otro lugar. Realmente sorprendido que no vale con presión o pagaré o incluso llevar tazas. Pobre mostrar hoy.

Unfortunately a continuation of the British public being ripped off at train stations. Surly staff, truly awful coffee and pastries that are as far from fresh as possible. There are many other passable options in the station. Avoid this like the plague.

Great coffee and bacon barms, which had plenty of bacon on. A nice change from Costa. The cafe is very clean and the staff most helpful.

The seat was comfortable, the coffee was forgettable. Just lacking in taste. The place was clean enough and at least warmer than the station.

If there was a 50p charge on the coffee for a smile I'd pay it. The worst atmosphere I've ever seen in a coffee shop with staff having facial expressions like they're working on an North Korean chain gang. Not a smile, grunts when asking for money, change slapped onto the counter - £3 for a luke-warm coffee that has about as much caffeine in it as a capful of coke. Horrible place, stay clear.

Me trajo una tarjeta de fidelización lleno de sellos para cambiar por un café, pero me dijeron que el personal 2 no tome aquí, no son realmente parte de Café Ritazza. Muy engañoso porque es de marca por lo que nunca se sabe. Una pena, porque el verdadero Café Ritazza es buen café, quién sabe lo que están sirviendo aquí?

Reading some of these reviews are being unfair and picky, some people just love a moan. I visited here before getting the train back home, had a cake and drink. Staff was pleasant and friendly even though it was busy. Only reason it wasn't top marks was because the table I sat at still had cup and plate from the previous customer.

Had coffees which were so hot it took ages to drink. Very spacious. However, very surprised to see the pigeons flying around there, there must have been 3 or 4 of them dive bombing around people. Maybe a food safety concern.

I popped in whilst waiting for my train, was greeted by a grunt, the lady who served me barely spoke but just nodded and dragged with her eyes. Then the girl who had made my coffee simply said 'latte', so when I asked if it was decaf Soy, she said of course in a very snappy answer and rolled her eyes at me. Then walked away.

Los clientes que son alérgicos a la lactosa (productos lácteos y leche) no necesita una alternativa y todas las tiendas de café que ha visitado previamente agregar la leche de soja, de almendras relevantes (sin carga). Qué pena que el Café Café Ritazza quiere explotar aquellos que tienen requisitos alternativos. No creo que su razón es para cubrir gastos extra, pero sería interesante averiguar por qué cuando otros éxito tiendas de café tienen el servicio al cliente como su primer enfoque.

Mejor que algunas cafeterías de la estación. No ocupados y de sobra. También autorizado. Todo va mal cuando no hay mucha gente y la zona no ha sido limpiado, pero los asistentes están charlando! No grandes en una copa de vino en un recipiente de plástico. pinta Podría hacer mejor!

I was disappointed to not get a real mug or plate for the tea and scone that I ordered, as I was asked if I was eating in.

I really enjoy the cappuccinos here. I would highly recommend if you enjoy a strong, robust coffee with a bitter undertone. There is conplementary wifi. Who doesn't enjoy that?

Grabbed a sandwich and coffee whilst waiting fir our train. Usual Ritazza fare, good coffee and a pleasant sandwich. Surroundings are OK considering you are in one of the largest and busiest stations in the capital. Very busy so can be difficult to get seats. Ok if you HAVE to eat at the station.

service was ok but the Almond Croissant was rather small and dry. I love this treat when I travel but was disappointed. On the plus side it's a cool and calm space and has comfy chairs. A good place to work before a train - away from rush of station commuters

Terrible service : the 3 employees spent their time chatting, laughing (even at customers), drinking coffee and doing nothing what they were supposed to do. All tables were covered with leftovers and no one seemed to care.Absolutely terrible...Food is acceptable but that does not change the terrible impression given.

We stopped for coffee and a baguette, ordering The Italian Job, one of the new range. Coffee was average, the baguette was appalling and nothing like the one advertised. It was supposed to contain chutney we couldn't find any and when we asked for butter or another chutney to alleviate the tough dry bread we were told they only had ketchup and didn't keep any butter on the premises. Would not eat there again.

Came for a catch up meeting with a friend. Liked the ambience and way the space has been designed. Plenty of space between tables and generally around the cafe to cope with the curse of modern travellers and their enormous luggage. The counter service was reasonably efficient and the drinks were up to expectations. Definitely one of the better station cafes I've experienced and by far the best option at Euston.

For a cafe in a train station, you would expect to be paying a lot of money for a coffee. However when i cam here, i found the prices to be fair. The staff were not that bad aswell.

The place has been done out nice since the refurbishment. I went there today waiting for a coffee and the service was slow and the staff were not very friendly miserable faces not a very good welcome. Also a bit health and safety risk with the woman making the coffee she had very long hair that essential wasn't tied back and would be easily waving around by the food and the beverages. Looks like moral is down, probably because of miserable old people like me complaining. There is no options in the station to get a coffee so your stuck with this place.

Visited this cafe while waiting for my train home. There was a queue waiting to get their orders. I asked whether the staff would bring our orders to the table. This staff, Mattia interrupted the staff who was serving me and abruptly said No. You have to wait here for your order we don't do those sort of thing.He was abrupt, unfriendly and in my opinion needs some training in customer service. I hope to never visit this cafe again.

An average coffee shop which are now on every High Street and there was nothing to set this one apart from the average. We did find a seat but shared the table with another couple.Expensive for what they offer.
