I'd stopped outside here and wanted to visit for some time. Today I dropped a friend at the BRI and called in here for lunch. I had the most delicious freshly made risotto with Parma ham and cream. I then brought my friend back to get some lunch. I was observing delicious looking pizzas etc going out. All the customers were very happy, the service was extremely friendly , I shall definitely return and highly recommend.

Recently started evening meals with Interesting and original Italian menu. We had a great meal and hope it takes off as much love and thought has gone into this. The family are very welcoming and love children so we felt very comfortable with a 4 year old. The service took some time as everything was cooked to order but exceeded our expectations and we will go again. Evening meals are only served on Thursday to Saturday as this is an extension to their daily cafe and lunch menu. All is sourced, prepared and cooked by the owners and the cafe menu changes daily. Super home made Italian pastries too.

I’ve been here on my lunch break to quickly buy something. It was the third time I’ve been there and definitely the last one! Don’t know who’s the old lady from the desk, but if she’s the owner she definitely needs to review her behavior if she wants the customers to return. She was sat outside with the rest of the staff eating; when going inside i heard “is closed” when on the website says open until 10pm!! So i turned and asked if it’s closed, to receive some rolling eyes and an anger behavior. LADY, whoever you are! I AM PAYING FOR THE FOOD! So don’t roll your eyes and give me attitude! Definitely won’t be back there! Worst service ever!

Popped in for a drink and bite to eat before a gig at The Fleece. Due to the time we arrived it was their dinner menu, however they kindly said we could have a burger as we didn't want something too big. Both myself and my husband had the burger with cheese and it was served in a lightly toasted thin slice of ciabatta/sourdough with a generous portion of fries. Very tasty and very reasonably priced. Added bonus of being able to sit outside when the weather is good. Would definitely recommend!

Caffe Oro was our first breakfast out in Bristol and honestly it was probably the wrong place to visit first because they certainly set the bar high, with a large range of choices it was difficult to pick from the menu. Unsure whether this is a larger restaurant, but it certainly had a lot to offer both for food including breakfast, lunch and it also appeared dinner on certain nights. Whilst a selection of drinks both hot and cold including alcoholic and cocktails. Staff were very friendly and welcoming which was a good start to our adventure in Bristol. With seating arrangements both inside and out it was a nice morning which led us to sit outside. Price wise I certainly felt these to be reasonable and the portions were good sizes for the quality of food. My girlfriend had the Salmon, Avocado and Egg on Toast with a Pina colada Smoothie non-alcoholic unfortunately! Whilst I went for the traditional English breakfast with a Orange and Mango smoothie. The only issue we had, which in all honesty was quite funny was a pesky seagull who we definitely thought was going to swoop in and steal our breakfast, probably the only issue with sitting outside at this location and unfortunately upon our departure he did just that we any remnants of the salmon. Certainly a café which I would recommend and visit again whilst on a trip to Bristol!

The real italian aperitivo: unlimited food and one drink for a fixed price! Pizza, pasta, vegetables and...panzerotti! Improvements regard: some things were cold, and the sweets were not great. Perhaps next time they will have fixed these! Because I definitely go back again. Great to listen to See you Tamorra.

I paid for a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea and booked for Sat 18th . On the website it said cafe was open . All bookings had to made via Groupon. When we got there the cafe was closed, no notice on door or website. Very annoyed ! I then spend time on Groupon cancelling voucher and getting a new one .Again booked through Groupon , but a few days later I was told cafe no longer taking vouchers so again I had to spend time cancelling. I did try to get them to honour my voucher due to fact that I spent time and money going to the cafe on Sat 18th August and they were closed. I was told by a lady that they are no longer taking vouchers , because they do not make money on them . Please note Cafe Ore-Groupon works in that way, because the whole point is advertising for the cafe and to bring people in. Well I will not be one of them !. The cafe also need to take off the deal , because it's still on Groupon and more people will be wasting their time !!

Such a lovely girl who gave the customers all the time they needed. It was wonderful to be greeted with such a warm happy smile and clearly cared about making someone else’s day better. After two years peeing off most of the neighbourhood with noise and litter and building a live music venue, without planning permission next door to residential gardens, these squatters are finally getting the boot. Shame that the charity that own the building are now heavily out of pocket.
