Worst cafe in Redditch. Went on a Sunday and the place was filthy despite it being so quiet. Staff were lethargic and slow- would never go back!!

Love our trips to this Nero. Great atmosphere, excellent brew and friendly, helpful staff. The music is not intrusive like in some cafes.

I am a regular customer at the Redditch Cafe Nero branch, the coffee is great but what really brings me back are the staff. Becky and frank are brilliant. Becky always has a smile on her face and always makes you feel welcome. 100% reccommend

Went here today. The staff was amazing was even helping customers to the table. Clearing tables opening doors. Looks like the new manager has really shock things up here. Plenty of food option. Keep up the amazing work

Having been a regular visitor to Caffe Nero (Redditch) for around 9 years, I feel I can comment on the fact the standards do seem to have dropped recently. Store in general is showing its age as its not had a refurbishment for some considerable time, staff also seem to have taken a downward turn from the earlier days of visiting. Staff are regularly heard discussing there personal business with each other whilst customers wait to be served. Coffee is still good, however the cakes & sandwiches seem to be of a lower quality & often seem to have run out in the case of the sandwiches or the cakes look as though they have been on display for some time. Also the general atmosphere in the store seems to have taken a downturn, I always looked forward to calling in on my lunch break to relax & chill out, however its always quite noisy now with music playing (which I don't mind) but far to loud, along with more groups of people in the store who seem not to be able to hold a conversation without shouting at the tops of there voices. Hopefully they can turn the store around, however I have started visiting other establishments as I find them better run & far more relaxing to be in.

First time in here and although it wasn’t greatly busy we seemed to wait for ages to be served was on the point of walking out when they took our order coffee was great though so for all the setbacks it was really worth waiting.

This is our coffee house of choice when we visit Redditch, and there are lots of them to choose from! Never too busy, the staff are very friendly and the food and drink always good.

I've been to quite a few nero coffee shops and frankly the service has been sketchy at best..this one is fab. What they serve is typically good for this chain but the staff are exceptional..well done girls..you make customers feel like they are family.

I cannot fault the quality of the coffee, the service or the value for money. I am a great fan of Caffè Nero and, if using a high street coffee shop that is part of a chain, will always go to Caffè Nero. I use most of the branches in Birmingham city centre as well as the one in Redditch. The Birmingham branches are smart, busy and well maintained. The Redditch branch is a fairly recent (and welcome) addition to Redditch's café scene with a notable niggle. On entering one is immediately aware that the air con doesn't seem to extract the moisture from the air. Consequently, the branch smells musty and damp. So sad. We end up having take-outs rather than drink-ins because of this. Please fix this Caffè Nero and we will spend more time in your Redditch branch. The coffee, people and value are still good though 😎

Went in for our saturday morning coffee new staff and the usual girls Sam and Clare everyone is so friendly and they always serve the coffee just the way I want it ( i have a very strange coffee order) they also allow my little westie in but this is upto the individual manager but i think all of the staff st this cafe sre great they are especially good to older members of the community and are always doing chsrity runs and music evenings gold stars for them all

Good hard working staff serving a decent range of drinks and snacks in a welcoming environment, well worth a visit.

Hands down the best coffee shop in the area. Hot chocolate is to die for. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I visit here for a coffee if I happen to be in town in the morning. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is the best in town. As it says on the door "the best coffee this side of Milan ".

Great coffee and cake with friendly service and relaxed atmosphere - I've often spent an hour or two here reading a book whilst enjoying a large American and slice of coffee and walnut cake - if you can get the squashy sofa it's the perfect spot.

Always nice, very friendly, staff recognise and chat to the regulars. Having spoken to the manager once I know that sometimes the staff can feel rushed off their feet and yet it never feels that way as a customer - never had to wait long or felt that it was too busy.With a lack of decent coffee shops in redditch (in my opinion) this is probably the nicest place to go for a drink after shopping etc.

Always great for a quickly served coffee, milkshake and or eating a skinny muffin. Staff always friendly and clean and comfortable. Always accommodate my requests and has wifi too.

It's got some very comfy chairs (and some backachers!) and is a great place to have a drink when shopping at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre. The staff are very friendly (hellos and byes) and attentive to customers needs. I try not to be a creature of habit but regularly find myself going there.

The staff at Café Nero make sure it's a good coffee spot: they're always super friendly and provide great service. The coffee is fab and the cakes / pastries are always tempting, what more do you want?

I haven't a clue who she was but she went off to pastures new, some say to join the Welsh National Opera. Frankly I wouldn't be at all surprised as she was so full of energy, utterly wasted in a coffee shop. Her successors have ranged widely from lacklustre to ordinary, in my modest opinion. However the coffee is good and that's what keeps me going there. Occasionally I lash out and have a plain croissant as well.

The best coffee in Redditch and a cool place to sit with friends and relax , yes at times it does get busy and it's not a large coffee shop but the staff always make you feel welcome .

Caffe Nero in Redditch is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Particularly if one can get a window seat. The cappuccino is just as like it, nice and strong. The quality is always the same - excellent. Also the chocolate twists are to die for.

I know that you are probably trained to do it this way, but when I go somewhere I want to feel that I have your undivided attention at least while you are taking my order instead of the constant flitting from customer to customer soliciting snatches of information in staccato sub text and then darting back to the customer in front or behind for the next micro exchange of greeting, order taking and extraction of cash. whatever happened to good old fashioned customer service, rather than being a commodity on a conveyor belt. Next, next, next.

Worse than Costa and I ain't keen on that either. Dirty, poor coffee, untrained staff, another americanised place.

The staff here are particularly great and as long as you avoid the parents who consider it acceptable to allow toddlers to run riot it's a very convenient place to have a coffee in Redditch.

Nice atmosphere. Very nice coffee. Lots of room for buggys etc. Just outside shopping centre which is nice too.

Love the atmosphere in here, its just a shame that the sofas are always taken! Sometimes it takes a while to get served but its always great service and the food and hot drinks are excellent.

Come here and normally take my nan and treat her to a cuppa tea. I was delighted to see they do porridge which isnt bad for £1.60, fairly filling. I love sitting by the window here and relaxing,watching the world go by. Yes a little over priced but i definitely worth it. You wont be disappointed if you come here.

The caffe Nero coffee is a great alternative to Starbucks and Costa. this more Italian theme and milder, richer coffee is very likeable. The staff are also very friendly

Went for coffee this morning and the coffee is superb.Three people ahead of me in the queue and one woman serving. While serving these three people at once she asked me what I wanted, which surprised me as she hadn't even started serving some of the drinks ahead of me. I asked for two cappuccinos.Two people joined the queue behind me and the second server arrived asking me if I had been served. I didn't feel that I had so I gestured to the first server and said I don't know and she confirmed to the second server that I had been served. She hadn't even started on my drinks and was still serving customers one and two.Server two now started making the drinks of the customer behind me in the queue (customer 5) she made his drinks and he paid and left and my drinks were not even started.Server two now started making the drinks of the second customer behind me (customer 6) which were ready before mine which were now finally underway.Server two was now taking the money from customer 6 while I hadn't even asked for my pastries yet.I interrupted server two at this point and said politely that their systems were a bit strange whereby two people behind me in the queue had been served and now paid before my order was started.She got very defensive and tried to explain that I in fact was wrong and their system was correct. I asked how a system could be correct when two people who came in after me had been served and paid up when I was still standing there but she just didn't get it. She then went on to say that my drinks were more complicated. I never realised that a regular cappuccino was complicated. I could see I was not going to get through to her so left it.I only wanted an apology. The first server should have asked the second server to serve me as she was out of her depth. Instead I was made to feel that I was the problem.I apologised to the lady behind me and explained I didn't have a problem with her just their system and by her response it was obvious she sympathised with me and was embarrassed about having been served ahead of me.Poor system and poor response spoiled what should have been a pleasurable experience.

It's just a great coffee shop you can eat there to its so relaxing no rush to leave comfy seats nice place to meet your friends and family you can also get free wifi to also you get a loilty card when you buy coffee on a Regular bases just good to go there

The coffee selection at Nero's are wonderful and the staff make you feel really welcome. The only issue I have is with the really noisy fridge by the front door. It is so loud, you can't relax.
