Caffe Nero - Doncaster in Doncaster

I came into Doncaster branch of Caffe Nero for a coffee & to catch up with some personal online business. I ordered a new coffee( Honey oat latte with honeycomb sprinkles on top. The young man who served me told me it's his current favourite drink and I can see what he means, it's delicious! I normally have a White mocha which I love too! I did decline the fresh cream as I'm trying to cut down. The best news is my next drink is a FREE 1!! Looking forward to it!! May have a cake with my free coffee.

This restaurant cafe NOT FIT PURPOSE ENVIRONMENT HEALTH SHOULD BE ALERTED I SAT HAVING SHOULD BEEN A NICE COFFEE EXPERIENCE /ONLY TO SIT AMONGST A SEAT COVERED IN URINE OBVIOUSLY A CHILD OR SOMEONE TOILET ISSUES HAD WEED ALL OVER LEATHER SOFA AND IT STUNK THROUGHOUT, IT HAS LEFT TOTALLY HORRIFIED AND DISGUSTED THAT A FOOD CAFE BAR. CAN FEEL IT OK TO LEAVE IT IN THIS REVOLTING STATE AND US THE GENERAL PUBLIC ARE MADE TO SUFFER AND STILL PAY FOR IT !!!!!!!!! DISGUSTING BEYOND NEVER WILL I EAT DRINK CAFE NERO AGAIN!!!!! ITS NEEDS REPORTING!!!!!

When for cafe with wife, service at counter fine, coffee fine. Sat inside could see tables out coveted in dirty pots. Staff member came out stood idly chatting to people while ignoring dirty pots. Customer came out with drink had to sit on tablet dirty pots? Cleared other table did not sanitize or empty ashtray. Pots on an inside table when we went in still there when we left. Very poor hygiene in current situation. Suggest retraining of staff urgently.

Went in on Friday 27 September 2019. The place was run down and in need of a refurb. Took the member of staff all her time to serve me. The crockery had lost most of its Nero motif, and she gave me a used tea spoon, complete with tea/coffee stains on it, didn't a get knife with the muffins I'd ordered, went onto the raised area, where tables hadn't been cleared, when a member of staff came to clear the adjoining table, she brushed the crumbs towards my girlfriend. To round it off the toilets were out of order. Avoid the place, go to Gregg's.

Very disappointing that the toilets are so dirty and tables in need of a good clean. The soothing music in the restaurant diesn’t make up for this 🙁

STAFF ARE OUTSTANDING AND VERY FRIENDLY. CAN’T ASK FOR BETTER SERVICE THAN THIS.!!! Table service is available and delivery to the table is always with a smile 😊. Best coffee shop in town

Service here was good and the coffee is great. It’s a Caffè Nero! Good staff training must be part of their success and baristas here look for instructions swiftly. It’s not rocket science.

Unhelpful staff a manager - who couldn’t give a rats behind about the loss of my coffee card. I asked if she could help by offering a replacement. No chance! Referred me to their HQ fir them to help. Treated as if I were a liar. Really hacked off and belittled by this encounter. Not what I expect from Cafe Nero.

My usual haunt, paninis Toasted tea cakes, coffees served politely and served by friendly staff 90% of the time.offered to take coffees to the table, and really good coffee. pay for 9 coffees get the 10 th one free

I visited Caffè Nero, 43 to 45, St Sepulchre Gate, Doncaster DN1 1JD. There were two female staff members, one with green colour hair and one with a blonde pony tail. They stared at customers, did not smile, or ask what I would like. I ordered a cappuccino and a toasted sandwich. When I sat down, I noticed that the environment was not clean and unhygienic flies kept hovering around my food. EAT ELSEWHERE.

Visited today 2nd March with my mum who ordered the cappuccino cake and 2 lattes but ordered the wrong strength latte. I went to buy another as our mistake the Batista remembered that she had just served us and advised what happened went to pay declined, offered again declined. Just like to say thanks for the excellent service.

Brilliant coffee and fabulous chocolate muffin. Warm and cosy coffee Nero. Like the place when I come to donny. Comfy place to chill. Always make you welcome. Thanks

Always rely on a good coffee,very attentive staff, if you don’t want to hear the hissing of the steamer go to the back of the coffee bar, the Paninis are good, The Manageress always remembers everybody,with a smile,

Had a flat white which was decent enough, and ordered a really nice looking slice of cappuccino cake, when it came the slice was considerably smaller than the ones shown in the glass cabinet and it was hard through. Cheap trick, if it’s stale chuck it out at nearly £3 a slice you are making way more than enough profit.

Friendly and pleasant staff all the time! This is our go to spot for a coffee and people watching opposite Frenchgate. I find it more enjoyable and cheaper than Costa Packet and I like the staff much better.

Nice place to drop in for a coffee , good quality coffee served at the correct temperature unlike many other high street coffee shops which ive found in my personal experience tend to rush through the heating process when patronised at busy periods

I like the Caffe Nero of all the High St coffee multiples and this ione is well positioned and staff seem well trained. good job.watty
