Stopped off for a cup of tea whilst walking around London. It has a nice atmosphere and the lady running it was nice too. It seemed to lack the number of staff needed really. Good tea which made for a much need break. I will call again.

I entered the store, and redeemed my free loyalty drink being a “luxury mocha”. I made small talk with the employees, and was polite as always and took away my drink once they had made it. My girlfriend initially tried the drink and said “this drink is not tasting normal, the coffee ratio to chocolate is way too high”. I tried the drink and agreed. I went back to the lady (who seemed to be the one in charge on the day), and said “I do not believe there is enough chocolate in this; something is missing”. The staff member laughed loudly in my face and told me to order a hot chocolate next time. “I said you can smell it, it just is a coffee”. She then rolled her eyes and dramatically said "It is fine, I will make you the EXACT same drink and you can watch me do it.' I did ask why she was being rude and became flustered, the lady could see I was upset and annoyed with how I was treated. The drink was created with no love and thrown into my face within seconds. I asked the lady for her name and she said "Luthia, why are you going to report me?" and began to laugh. As I turned away she laughed and complained about me to a customer "they do not think I can make a drink correctly." To prove how appalling the service was, there was a young man who was in the store at the time present of the altercation. He came out, explained that he actually works for Caffè Nero and apologised for the ladies’ behaviour.

Estas cadenas de cafeterías como Nero, Starbucks, etc. están bien, pero no para cualquiera que aprecie un café realmente bueno. Aquí estás a solo unos pasos, a la vuelta de la esquina, del Delaunay que habita en un mundo de café diferente, sin competencia. Ok, por supuesto, son más caros, pero valen cada centavo extra. Mi última visita a este Nero fue hace unos 2 años solo porque era invitado de otra persona.

Mi consejo para la gerencia / empleados en este sitio es simple. Escuche lo que dicen sus clientes, intente que su visita sea agradable y brinde soluciones cuando no estén contentos. La marca es la gente que la representa y me decepcionó que una cadena tan grande como esta no funcione para garantizar que cada cliente tenga una experiencia agradable.

Gran café como espero de Nero, personal agradable con servicio rápido y excelente sabor, agradables asientos al aire libre para ver trabajar

Decided we needed a new coffee place as Costa really wasn’t cutting it. Discovered Caffè Nero and we haven’t looked back. First time in this one, but as with the others I’ve visited, great coffee, great staff and a very comfortable welcoming place. Can’t wait to visit more Caffè Nero’s. As a coach driver I can see that happening. Keep up the good work.

The one thing that makes Caffe Nero the best option among the big coffee shop chains is the seating, with comfortable sofas and armchairs. I had two hours to kill, so spending that time on an upright hard wooden chair wouldn't have been great. I was able to relax here, do some work on my laptop and read a little. The peppermint tea I had was fine. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The interior is spotless and the ambience is relaxed. One little complaint: the free wifi isn't the fastest. Uploading or downloading data takes quite a long time. But I really enjoyed spending time here.
