Caffe Nero in Eastleigh

I always get a takeaway coffee from here when I go into the office (two or three times a week). All the team are very friendly and efficient but a special mention for Issy who is particularly friendly and always tops my mocha up right to the top (I have a bit of a thing about this!) it is a good start to the day! Thank you

I arrived about mid morning when I noticed a lone male barista handling a queue of which he was patiently serving a customer who's first language wasn't English. I was wondering as to why there was no one else working with him at that moment but I commend his efforts for soldiering through with no mistakes and making the drinks hot enough to actually enjoy. Actually this is the first Nero where an extra hot drink is actually extra hot. I'm coming to this more than the winchester branch. Would recommend again but hopefully this store gets more staff :)

As I catch up on reviews, I find myself reminiscing about my frequent visits to Caffè Nero in Eastleigh, a place my sister and I used to visit religiously—many times a week for months. Sadly, some time ago, we noticed a decline in drink quality, particularly with the coffee. It seemed to be burnt more often than not, resulting in an overwhelming bitterness. While coffee naturally carries a hint of bitterness, there's a stark difference between the norm and the unfortunate taste of burnt coffee. Given the price of a coffee at a café compared to what you can make at home, one would expect a higher standard of quality, not a drink that needs to be masked with sweet syrups just to be palatable. The tipping point came when, on a fateful day, I ordered my usual drink only to find that, in addition to the recurrent burnt taste, the member of staff had evidently added less syrup than usual. This alteration further diminished the taste I had grown accustomed to. When I pointed out the difference, I was informed that I would need to pay extra for "more syrup". It was a simple request—to have the same amount I always had, for the same price I'd always paid. This encounter left me disheartened, feeling that the customer service did not match the standards I once valued. That day, I made the decision that I couldn't continue in this pattern—dealing with poor coffee standards, prices that didn't align with the quality, and on top of it, customer service that demanded more money for maintaining the same standard. I opted for a coffee pod machine and my preferred syrup, allowing me to indulge in good, reasonably priced coffee at my convenience. While I miss the social aspect of the café, the consistent quality and cost-effectiveness of homemade coffee have won me over.

Not a long wait to be asked for are order’s and quickly got them in about 2 minutes after ordering which is really good. A really nice mocha frappe it was amazing I’m really pleased with the service and the cleanliness with this establishment and how friendly the staff are I would really really recommend coming if you’re needing a drink and I would definitely come back to this establishment again if I could

This Caffee Nero is perfectly located in the centre of Eastleigh and it offers the same high level of service that I have come to expect from the chain. On my last visit to Eastleigh I used it for a short business meeting, but on other occasions it has been a follow-up to lunch, or simply a place in which to recharge my batteries. I have never been disappointed.

Stopped here for a mid morning Lastte with my Wife. Nice ,friendly ,polite staff. Nice clean cafe. Tables spotless and non sticky ,nice odour free toilet. Prices very fair.

Ever had to struggle with a child and a push chair? Nero could not been of more help with warming bottles, making space and helping. Other coffee chains locally, huff and tut at you inconveniencing them - their loss and Nero's gain, they have great service. As a Dad with a small child I need all the help and sanctuary that I can get whilst being run ragged over the years by a 6 year old. Kevin, will be sadly missed along with the velvet cake but their great coffee and service makes all the difference when you need to relax and have that break. Occasionally, we throw a dog in to the mix and they are welcoming to well behaved mutts. An oasis amongst the turmoil of chaos that is shopping!

We visited on a Saturday morning as another well known coffee shop was too busy for us to queue. The staff in here were delightfully friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. It was a pleasure to sit down and drink my coffee in peace and quiet. Will definitely return and not sure why I haven't visited before.

Used this Nero a lot in 2015. Had to get reports processed and sent back to employer on those occasions via their wifi. More recent visit, June 2017, did'nt disappoint, a great Nero with help full staff.

I go here most days, never had a bad coffee, staff are lovely and it's a really calm and happy, chilled out atmosphere.

Went here for quick coffee with friends. Always have chai latte. Not as well made as costa but nice enough. This is a nice branch considering its in Eastleigh. Eastleigh isn't the nicest of towns so this is a welcome relief from some of the bad parts of the town.

イーストリーの鉄道駅を出て駅前の道路を左に数分歩くと、スワン・センターというショッピングセンターがあり、その一階に位置し ています。複合施設内ではありますが、道路に面していてガラス張りなので明るい感じです。この辺りは、日本人観光客も（おそらく住んでいる人も？）少ないのか、近くのテーブルにいたお客さんが「日本人？これ、何が書いてあるのかな？」と話しかけてきました。日本語の写真・図解の多い本を手にしていて、日本語は読めないけどこの本は面白いとのことで... 意外なところでちょっとした日英交流ができるのも田舎町ならではの経験です。コーヒーは他のカフェ・ネロと同じ、普通に美味しいです。

Called for a coffee before the remembrance day parade through the town. Good coffee and comfy seating. Happy to recommend

If you are after a quiet drink with comfortable, easy chairs this is the ideal place. Staff are very friendly and there is a good atmosphere.

The coffee as usual is very good. The location is brilliant if you want a speciality coffee to take to the cinema without paying cinema prices.

This is simply the best coffee shop in Eastleigh. The staff are extremely friendly, the coffee is good and food choice is varied enough for lunch or a snack. Can't recommend it highly enough for time with family a business meeting or just time on your own

Went in on a Friday morning for coffee and pastry with my parents. Coffee was good and the pastry was it's usual high standard. Definitely helps that it is freshly baked each day. The staff are always very friendly particularly if they recognise you as a regular. Definitely a friendlier service than witnessed at Costa.

Went here on two occasions whilst on a weekend visit to family.There is a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are polite and chatty.The coffee is excellent

Enjoyed a cup of coffee and mince pie in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable value and I was able to use the wifi to complete some work. This was better than many Cafe Nero's i have frequented.

A lovely place to have coffee and watch the world go by. Although a fairly busy place Neros has a very calm atmosphere, the coffee is good and made to a high standard. The service is second to non, nothing is too much trouble for the staff from carrying trays for those of all ages who can't manage to just giving a kind word to the lonely.

Well located at the entrance to the Swan Centre. It's my favorite place in Eastleigh for good coffee,and a comfortable relaxed place to sit.Well done, keep it up.

I have been here before, and actively went back because they are just so pleasant, and the atmosphere so nice. I don't know anything about Italian coffee, but the waitress was more than happy to explain to me in simple terms and even offered me a lower strength latte (okay so I'm a wimp!). But now I know what a capucino is (even if I cant spell it). Good coffee, great service, excellent atmosphere, and a lovely caramel chocolate slice!
