Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster

People working here were nice to they remade our sandwich when it was burnt

I went recently for a coffee and ended up having a lot of bargains. I'm a regular Nero's costumer but this one I think is the best. As a Spanish speaking person I found a place where I got the best costume experience. baristas called Sophie and Camilo are truly the best. I had a great time and this kind of service should be recognised in this city

Standard Nero as far as decor is concerned. I got a can't be bothered attitude from the baristas, one was on his phone and the young lady was put out because I had the audacity to ask for a tray. You know what next time I will carry things on my head then 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Good place to visit before going to the theatre. The staff were very good.

No frills good coffee before heading to the theatres

The safe are rude the toilets are discussing. Not been cleaned for a long time. Can't believe how badly I have been treated. My advice to anyone wanting a coffee go somewhere else.

Disgusting rundown toilet, for a big chain like cafe Nero they could something about the toilet Dirty tables full of cups that I had to clean myself I think I will start voting with my feet.

Treat staff like absolute garbage; I wouldn’t touch this place with a mile long barge pole. Seeing how bosses(?) talk about and to their colleagues whilst in the cafe has made me never want to step into another neros ever again

No coffee at 5pm on Sunday in a "Caffè Nero". But the shop is still open. Lol.

This place really need redoing. Outside seating area so filthy, actually awfull. Staff, matching the overall mood, unfriendly and clearly don't care. What is even more shocking, this is prime location, next to London Coliseum.

Great service from both staff and extremely accommodating even in the Christmas rush. Harry and Maciej helped me with my order and provided great service and everything I needed.

They ran out of coffee beans, but the frappe milkshake was free 😄

I ordered my usual Luxury hot chocolate. It is normally just poured straight out of a carton and heated. Here they diluted it with milk so it lost all its chocolate flavour. It was so bad I threw it away. Not sure if I got a bad barista or if it is a new money saving policy.

Same Caffe Nero experience you get anywhere else - disinterested trainee staff, lack of space/seating, long waits for your drink. Also, why don’t you have a toilet??

The worst coffee place experience ever. The asian barista is crazy, she should stay away from customers! She started yelling at me as i asked for whipped cream missing on my ginger latte that btw was advertised on the picture. On top, after i paid for my drinks with intention to sit, she said that they close in 5 minutes. She really went crazy yelling me that Its not her fault that there is no whipped cream and Its not her fault that they close… ok fine but Its your fault that you are rude to customers!!! Dear manager hope you read it and can do something about it. Those who read, stay away from this place and there are plenty others around

Not as impressed with the service at this branch compared with others.

This place is an embarrassment to coffee bars. It was filthy, no clean table, chairs dirty. Pastries out in the open. Server wiped froth off my cup with her thumb. Took my drink back twice as it tasted awful and was told by a young male server that he couldn't make it again. No apology. Him and his colleague muttered something under their breath. He was very rude and told me to complain online if I wanted. Have been a loyal Nero customer for ever but will not give them my money again after this. Pret are a thousand times better!

The barista was really lovely! We ordered take away drinks and they were so refreshing after watching a show. There was downstairs seating in addition to the entrance floor seating area. The toilets were better than previous reviews. Recommend this location.

Staff are always wonderful and drinks are perfect. If you're looking for a quiet spot to regroup in central London, downstairs is usually quite empty and chill, in a good way <3

What must tourists think! Comparing my Caremelatte to the one in the picture on the wall was one reason to complain, but going into the only toilet for both men and women was quite another! It made my skin crawl and left me wondering what the Americans (who I was sitting next to) must think of the UK being so close to the world famous Trafalgar Square. When you go somewhere that sells food and drink, you want to be sure that they care about hygiene - the pictures should tell you all you need to know!!

Staff pleasant, premises in dire need of a refurb and the most disgusting and unhygienic toilet I have had the displeasure to use! No full toilet seat, tiny cubicle, graffiti over the walls and doors and unsanitary. If EVER there was a place to catch a virus, it would be in there and I expected better from such a large company.

Friendly staff and great coffee

It’s small and pretty understaffed, which is probably why the poor staff seem so unhappy (they were never rude or short, just clearly tired). There’s no WiFi or power outlets. It’s the only casual cafe of its kind on this street. If you have extra time, walk to a local coffee place a bit further.

Toilet was a little cramped and the shop isn't the most accessible, and the toilets seem to be inaccessible to anybody with mobility issues (unless there was an upstairs locked disabled toilet I missed?)

Wonderful! Spacious, lovely sandwich and lady helper.

Fab little Nero tucked neatly next to the Colluseum. This is a well located coffee shop serving all the usual Caffè Nero favourites, but is often quiet because of its slender store frontage. Have no fear - there is plenty of seating inside the long store with a downstairs, too. I don't recall this store ever playing music, which can be a welcome relief from the din of the city.

A nice centrally located coffee bar, when I visited however the coffee machine was broken, and no coffee was available. So that loses a star.

Average Caffe Nero. The speakers in the basement were emitting a static white noise type of pinging that made it difficult to sit in peace.

Upon my visit the service was very poor. I use caffe nero alot and this is the worst I've been to. The service was incredibly slow for a lunch time. Only one member of staff on the counter who was only able to make one drink at a time. It took 15 minutes for me to get 2 drinks and I was second in the que .

A small cafe with some ground and basement seating. The service was speedy.

Quite convenient and staff are attentive and efficient. It's a bit down at heel for a capital city location.

A cosy and comfortable Nero. Staff were really welcoming and attentive to a slightly alternate order! There was a lot of indoor seating on two floors and the cafe was clean and well managed.

Slowest place on Earth. If you are in a rush before work or for any reason, avoid.

Really poor experience! The waitress/barista wasn’t friendly and smiling at all. She pushed for us to take the frappe late from the fridge instead of preparing a fresh one. Definitely not customer oriented. (Besides, to remain quite positive, the quality of the products was ok). Really disappointed compared to the other ones where we’ve been before.

I am so sorry to have visited this branch of Cafe Nero. This has to be one of the most depressing cafe neros I think I have ever been in from the decor to the staff who were probably the most miserable, unfriendly people I think I have ever witnessed. Can’t really say much else, other than sorry to have bothered you.

Did not like this place much. Not sure why. I went there as they actually use cups rather than disposables which all the other places were using. However the coffee was not up to their usual standards.

I ordered an oat latte and the girl gave me a whole milk latte, I told her that mine was oat, she looked angry and gave me an oat latte at 200 degrees, it seemed like I was drinking hell, I will never go back to this place

Miss was alone in the most busy time on the whole café. The toilet was appalling.

This used to be the Caffe Nero that made the strongest, richest coffee in the chain. I think it was well trained staff. I came back here, I used to work nearby, and I was disappointed. Now the coffee is ordinary. The tables looked like they had not been cleaned recently. It's always sad when a good place disappoints.

The sole toilet was utterly vile, tiny dirty and if I'd seen it before eating would certainly have left the place immediately! Whole place is dirty. May be ok for a quick takeaway... Seemed to have only one staff member, he was good, really helpful but a bit too over-stretched to be able to give really great service.

A rest stop for coffee and toastie while on a walk around Highgate and Archway. Not too busy, plenty of space and a relaxed atmosphere.

イギリス国内にたくさんあるカフェ・ネロ。今回はウエストエンドでの観劇前に立ち寄りました。どこのお店でも同じようにコーヒー やお茶を楽しめるので重宝しています。ただし、今回は平日夕方という時間帯のせいなのか、ロンドン中心地という場所柄なのか、出入りする人の流れがやや早かったように感じます。自分もそうなのですが、皆さんこの後の予定があり、その前に化粧室を使いたい、ということなのでしょうか、一つしかないトイレは常に誰かが使っているような状態でした。通常なら、店内の様子を見て、今は誰もいないな、と思ってから自分の席を立ってトイレに行けば使えることが多いのに、ここではトイレの前で立って待っていないと、次から次へ使う人がやって来る感じ。 それでも、カフェ・ネロがあちこちに出来てとても便利です。プレタ・マンジェは店によってはレシートの番号を入れないとトイレを使えなかったりするけど（もちろん、何かを注文しますけが）今のところ私はカフェ・ネロではそういう店舗に当たったことがありません。ありがたい存在。

Good place for you to chill and relax after a long hectic day with a cup of hot coffee or cholacate. I can't blame it as sometime full floor you can't find where to seat.

Regularly too busy for the staff to cope. Tables are often full of mess and empty cups and plates, I’ve even seen tables cleared by customers and the floor become a storage space. Service can be verging on rude when busy, but understandable when obviously understaffed. Take your coffee to go!

These are all over the place in London (like Starbucks in the US). This one is a great location with kind staff.

Quiet place with enough available tables even though it's close to busy tourist areas. 2 separate electrical power outlets (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs behind the sofa;) so you can charge your phone or run your laptop.

Not sure if they were having an off day, but I normally like the bold flavour of Caffe Nero, but on this day I found the coffee quite bitter. Service was good and I would visit again and give them the benefit of the doubt.

Esto es todo lo que espera de un Caffe Nero de muchas maneras. Se siente como si estuvieras sentado en un pasillo y tiene toda la atmósfera de la sala de espera de un hospital. En esta visita solo había un miembro del personal y parecían un poco inexpertos, por lo que largas colas se acumulaban y la gente salía sin ser atendida, afortunadamente superamos la prisa.

Small. Very central, but quiet. Has a downstairs to be more secluded. Want a vibe, go elsewhere. Want serious conversation, or a quiet place in this area, then this is for you.

A friendly place noted for the wide variety of coffees available. The comfortable chairs tempt one to linger.

I love Nero, more than any other coffebaar in London, but this one definitely needs refurbishment, the toilets were very very dirty.

Molto buona la colazione. Molto ricca la scelta. E' una catena per cui non e' niente di particolare. I prodotti pero' sono di qualita' e freschi.

I enjoy going here because the staff are nice and they serve good coffee. It can get busy during lunch but not crowded. It a good stop after a walk around the National Gallery or away from the buzz of Leicester Square.
