Caffè Nero in City of London, Westminster

My coffee was knocked off the table. My fault. The staff witnessed this and, although I'd only just sat down, they did not offer me a free replacement. Zero empathy. I know they don't have to do this - but I'm a regular customer and have been for years, and this is very poor customer service. Easy decision for me - I just won't come here any more. There are lots of alternatives nearby.

Nice place for quick coffee catch ups. I ordered Tiramisu Latte. At first it tasted well but a bit later started to taste a bit too much milky milky. The dessert, Pistachio mouse, was very good.

Extremely amazing professional staff . Always greeting us with a smile. My son with autism absolutely loves this place ❤️the best Nero branch in London ❤️ highly recommended

What a nice atmosphere there was here! You feel safe, warm and you completely relax! I thought it was such a nice café that I came back again. Definitely recommended!

My favourite Cafe Nero in the area, relatively quiet vibes most times with a lunch rush around noon/1pm. Good for people watching and just hanging out. Lovely and very helpful staff.

The guy running the place (Patrick?) is brilliant. Very charismatic. Good coffee too.

Patrick and the rest of the team are amazing any time I get to speak to them my day is made better, the customer service is unmatched and the order is perfect everytime. This is probably the best cafe Nero in the whole of London and the staff definitely are the best xxxxx

Great Starbucks alternative, they have Carmel and White chocolate Sauces as well as the common syrups.

Cake not tasty. They even blocked an electric outlet so customers cant use it. What a greedy business this is.

I purchased a coffee today, but accidentally took a coffee that was not my order. I apologised to the barista who was sympathetic and re-made the drink for the client whose coffee I took. The other person working there (who I assume was the manager), looked at me and my friend and raised his voice at me, stating that I showed no respect, shouted in front of customers and made a complete scene out of something that was an accident. It made me feel embarrassed, and I feel like there was no need to have spoken to me this way for something that was an accident and that I apologised for. I expect better customer service, especially as I am a loyal customer and have been going here every week for the past 5 years. I will not be returning.

Right after purchasing my coffee, I saw a stack of tissues before me. I decided to take one and asked the person behind the counter if I could. This person pushed my hand away in a very shockingly rude manner, telling me no. I was very saddened by his behaviour and replied, " It's okay, but please, no need to touch me or rudely state your point he replied very rudely, telling me I don't care to get your tissues from the other side. I asked him again politely, please don't raise your voice at me and speak to me in this manner and asked him to calm down. He raised his voice more and made a scene out of it in front of all the customers. It made me embarrassed and distressed. I replied that's fine. May I speak to your manager, please, he replied I am the manager. At this point, I was more shocked that a manager behaved this way; I replied I had no choice but to make an online complaint about what happened. He replied that I didn't care. I looked at him in disbelief and asked, "You don't care? Is this how customer service is handled in your store? He replied yes, I don't care. So, I took my coffee and decided to de-escalate the situation. He looked outraged. There should be more professionalism, kindness, and politeness in dealing with customers. I came to purchase a coffee and have a good experience. Instead, I got humiliated and disrespected and told off.A manager should have more patience, scale situations, be professional, and never humiliate a customers.

Their spicy chicken roll is quite tasty and it has a kick with real red chillis. Caramel latte was nice. I tend to go for extra hot drinks because I find they get cold so quick.

We had a chai latte which was pretty nice and a cappuccino which was okay. But the coffee got cold pretty fast. We also had a “Belgian chocolate fudge cake”… we are Belgian… the taste of that cake was not even near Belgian chocolatey. So I would not recommend the cake. We also had a pork roll and it was okay. The coffee was still pretty good. Service was good too! For atmosphere: there’s a lot of loud beeping and it kind of echoes.

Worst service ever, looked at my phone for one minute at the counter and was ignored by the staff, the reason I looked was a personal medical reason. I apologised but was ignored, really poor unfriendly service. I feel sad for this man and his life

The service wasn't very friendly (which isn't unusual in London) but was somehow acceptable. The food we had (chocolate cheese cake and tiramisu) was quite good, though.

Wasn't our only visit to a caffe Nero. Unfortunately our batista was a trainee. No one was watching over him when he took our order. We believe both our drinks were incorrect and a child could add whip cream better. Food is way over priced for its quality. Glad I'm only a tourist.

definitely one of my favourite neros. staff always so friendly and coffee is always exceptional. training staff sometimes slow and you can be waiting longer than usual, but they all share lovely polite spirit of the rest of the team and make a beautiful coffee. your toilet is always a bit nasty and i’ve noticed a few times the toilet check sheet hasn’t been completed but i love you nero!!!

My friends and I stopped by your place today at 3:30 p.m. to serve a cappuccino and a cake, the boy who served us said he was alone, so he couldn't serve us the cake on the plate and capp in the glass cardboard, because he doesn't have time to clean 😢

Staff is super friendly and efficient. Apricot and raspberry croissants were delicious.

Love this cafe. It has a nice atmosphere, the staff is friendly and dogs are allowed.

They are understaffed, for many times they would be closed with a be right back sign!

My wife and I stopped by here at 6:30 am this morning having just woken up while waiting to see the Queen lying in state. We were searching for some breakfast but more importantly some toilets, as there are none available to the less able-bodied when waiting in the queue. The store was due to open as 6:30 am but the manager shouted through the door that they were not opening until 7:00 am due to staff training. I called the manager back to the door and begged to use the facilities before my bladder imploded. He was most keen to open the store and let me in when he was confronted with this latest development. After having refreshed, the manager said we were more than welcome to wait in the store while they prepared it to open. We made introductions and Patrick regaled us with his tales of woe in relation to his training issues and that since the world had descended on London to view the Queen he had been working 18 hour days, he did look tired though, bless him. We ordered two hot chocolates and a pain au chocolate and double chocolate muffin, which went down a treat, my blood sugars were getting low and the tasty treat topped them up nicely. We entered the store as desperate individuals but left having made a new chum.... Thanks very much Patrick, you're an awesome guy and don't forget that :)

Patrick was very helpful, opened up to allow disabled persons to use the facilities before they were open. Top marks deserves a raise

I used to enjoy their bitter coffee. I’ve not had it in ages. Today it’s tasteless, weak and poorly made. I had the single origin americano. Bad enough to make me move to tea

Nice welcoming staff, It's ludicrous how expensive is a cup of coffee, a small cup of latte for £3.50, and half of it is froth, what's going on

Good service but hard to find a seat despite it being a decently sized premises. Tables very close together but was nice for a quick pit stop but uncomfortable for anything longer I think.

When I visited this Nero, the barista was so cheerful and full of joy. Even though it was closing time she went out of her way to make me a triple shaken machiatto with caramel drizzle and sugar free cinnamon on top (no cream). She was so understanding and also made me laugh when she saw I was having a bad day. I think her name was EERIE. She deserves a promotion💕💕

One of the best Caffe Neros in central London - placed a minute's walk from the busiest cafes so is very relaxing during evenings and the weekends. Staff are another plus point, with the cafe regularly cleaned and well presented. A superb space to sit outside on sunny days too.

Somehow we always end up in confusion when ordering a drink. Not the most patient bunch even when the place is empty. Maybe its me.

Very friendly staff with quick service and great coffee! I know that Nero isn’t an independent outlet, but the familiar staff in there always make me feel very welcome and the cafe is always clean and well kept.

They close the cafe at their own sweet will. The closing time on Sat, 2nd January 2021 was clearly written as 4pm on the door however the barista conveniently locked the door at 3:25pm and disappeared inside. Shambles.

Nice little Caffé Nero directly opposite the Home Office building on Marsham street. Combination of easy chairs and dinning chairs with tables make it a good place to sit and relax or sit and work. Friendly staff that work hard though queues can get quite long at peak office coffee break hours.

Fine for a chain style coffee shop. Service was ok. Half of the tables needed to be cleared. Cold brew was a bit watery. Toilet was clean, seating was comfortable and the a/c was nice and cool. I sat next to some people having a work meeting at a large table so it seems like a good place for that

Un pò di coda prima di essere servito in cassa, ma accettabile per la zona di uffici e per l'orario intorno alle 9,15. Buono il caffè espresso (1,80 sterline ) e anche l'americano (2.45 sterline la media misura). È da provare.
