A hidden gem at the back of London Bridge

Thank you to the two guys who served me and my brother last Thursday. Both were friendly and made us feel really welcome. Keep us the good work, you don’t know whose day you will brighten with kindness.

The staff were kind and welcoming to me this morning 18/02. I'm impressed when I experience true customer service these days! Keep it up.

Terrible service that prevented me from tasting the food but UPDATE : client support team is exceptional. I bought a « Too good to go » surprise bag from this shop and arrived 5 minutes after the collection slot due to delays in public transport. The barista refused to give it to me although he had the bag because he said the app would not accept the collection. He said I should have arrived on time and he was going to throw the food away. I pointed out the stupidity of the situation and I offered to pay by cash, and a homeless person was sitting next to us as we were talking. He maintained his position without an ounce of humanity, and said he could as well give it to me for free but that would be « unfair ». This « man » didn’t have any problem saying that to the face of a homeless person with a storm going on. This is horrible and unacceptable. The barista was a young man with blue eyes and an Italian accent. UPDATE : I referred this to the client support team, who were very kind and comprehensive and even sent me a voucher. They seem to care about client experience, and this was just a located bad experience.

I visited this Caffè Nero today and encountered issues with my usual order. The barista suggested alternatives for both me and my daughter, despite her intolerances. I politely declined, but the barista continued to insist on options with alternative milk. This was frustrating, especially since my daughter was already upset. I appreciate the effort and I’m fully aware of upselling policies, but please respect customer choices without pushing. Your branch lost a customer.

Excellent strong blended coffee and friendly service. There are places to sit though this branch is tiny but it’s a bit dark and given it’s in the station there’s a rushed atmosphere

Today I came after a 27 hour no sleep to Caffe Nero on Joiner Street to grab a peppermint tea because it was raining so bad outside that I got cold. Iulia the front of house team member served me like a real team player and full of professionalism. It was such a pleasure to get served by her that I enjoyed my 30 minutes at Caffe Nero, so make sure if you pass around here enter and say hi! She served me with the smile on her face, making my tea delicious and even adding some cold water to my request. We'll done to Iulia! ♥️

It’s all about the vibe and atmosphere. Very cosy and intimate vibes, whole store designed keeping the recycled / refurbished warehouse ceilings. I appreciate this type of coffee shops so much, highly recommended for a quick stop

Great little Caffe Nero inside London Bridge station. The queues can sometimes get very long but the baristas are very speedy at making the drinks and the line moves very fast. All the staff members are so friendly and helpful! The upstairs seating was shut off when I last visited annoyingly, but usually it’s a great place to get some work done and plenty of plug sockets for charging phones/laptops. Downstairs is mostly bar style seating with high stools and the few tables they do have are uneven and move.

Nice staff and the guys who served me were very attentive. Only downside is the tables weren’t emptied in between customers as some people don’t dispose off their cups/wrappers.

The staff are friendly and polite and served me a perfect cappuccino and also it was really fast so I haven't missed my train! Thank you!

Went in yesterday evening and ordered a coffee to take away, people who ordered after us were served but we had to remind them about our order after they served two customers who had paid / ordered after us !!!, Felt ignored and did not have a good feeling about this.

Great coffee and service, air conditioning on in winter was not too fun

Not the most cheerful barristers. They also have none customer skills or maners. Ordered a hot panine and a coffee thinking I would be enjoying it in a warmer and cosy seat. However soon I sat down I have been told that they were closing that area. Nevertheless to say that the other area which basically has 3/4 tables were fully. So I ended up eating and drinking standing next to a hall. What's more apaling is the lack of empathy or can I say common sense from the female barrister . Couldn't I be told when ordered that they will be closing soon ? Or couldn't I be told to eat my nice and hot panine sat down for 5/10 minutes?? I mean all they need is having common sense and extraordinary customer services .

Great location and decent coffee made to order. Staff were friendly and charming. Though for the late morning shift appeared to only be one member there (late Nov/ early Dec). So order took a while and people started to get frustrated and left the queues.

Best coffee of the big chains, I think. Service is nice and efficient. Shop is old and tired with upstairs closed. Several Nero cafes have closed down in my area. Maybe because few of them get refurbishments and so don't look great.

Good for a quick coffee but don't expect a trained barista or high quality products. Usb ports as well as wall sockets are available.

When you let kids who don't want to be there run your business you get attitude and rubbish coffee

I was happy that they made me an iced chai. Plenty of seating options and a place to charge your phone.

Coming to work early isn't easy but having the cafe open before 7am makes things better! Especially when you're trying to wake up still

Amazing service. The lady who served me was friendly, welcoming and made me aware of dairy free products that I did not see advertised. I appreciated it because I had a bad experience at another branch. The store itself was clean also. Thank you :)

So many Cafe Nero’s around London Bridge! This one on Joiner Street, pedestrianised and underground is tucked away around the corner from the Western Arcade (links the rail and Underground), Retail Arcade towards Shard & St Thomas Street. Don’t go too far or you find the other Nero 🤣 Small shop but was served promptly from friendly staff. Coffee was hot and tasty. Convenient location to grab a coffee before jumping on the Tube.

Lovely, the space upstairs is really nice and relaxing, just perfect for a good cup of cofe with my best friend, its like you are in your living room - 5 stars. The service was also very good.

The Google maps is wrong - shows wrong pictures. No sitting area. Waste of my time trying to find it. Shame, as I used to love café nero. The other place close by closes at 9pm. So not happy.

Go upstairs for the relaxed oasis away from the hussle and bustle of London Bridge

It's a hidden gem within the London Bridge station. Most people are unaware but the upstairs is peaceful and comfortable. A comfortable lounging environment with privacy. However, no toilets or signal upstairs was a problem , wifi was a good way to make up for it. I will be back for meetings, saving me from running around finding a cafe that isn't busy or small. Please also note it's a little dark upstairs.

This is one of the nicer neros I've been to. It has a really nice seating area upstairs. Not great mobile phone signal but it doesn't matter! It's nice to just switch off and enjoy a coffee.

Caffè nero per un italiano è l'unica speranza per bere un caffè decente a Londra! Io preferisco sempre il macchiato o il moka, molto buoni entrambi, e su richiesta, con latte di soia. Ambiente molto carino, al piano superiore divanetti e lampade che lo rendono ottimo per rilassarsi, leggere o lavorare al PC

The one inside London Bridge station is nice and Cosey but had a slight funny smell in it. Didn't particularly enjoy the flat white but could have been my taste buds....

Wonderful staff! My 9 month old knocked over my chai and they immediately cleaned it and when I went to order another they didn’t charge me! Thank you very much!

Nice and cosy place in this cold weather. It is tiny but ok. Aesthetics are great with a blend of modern and old style. Combining old bricks and new ones, is a nice touch. Regular Latte and chocolate muffin cost £4.75. Counter people were courteous and friendly.

It's actually called Nero Express, but there many seating options both down- and upstairs. A cosy place near The Shard Exit from London Bridge Underground Station. Clean coffee shop with friendly staff.

Normally like this Nero, but just bought a toastie (with a mince pie) cost me over 6 quid... Toastie isn't even toasted! It's cold in the middle and not melted at all. Quite annoyed as I can't go back, as I am at work on my lunch break. Just wanted a nice warm toastie, but instead got a half warm and cold in the middle sandwich! Also, it says 'ask staff if you have any allergies', but on a couple of a Occasions I have asked what certain drinks contain dairy, and the staff do not know and are unable to tell you. :( disappointed. I prefer the nero above! They are always very helpful and on top of things!

Souless little Nero next to London bridge station. Given the amazing independent coffee shops in the area it is such a shame this place has anyone in it!

Really convenient for those whop want a drink or a bite to eat before catching train. Relaxing & quiet lounge upstairs. Good coffee. One Improvement, small departures bored for National Express Trains in the lounge.

Grest hidden little den. You could miss this if was looking for it. But has a great seat section again hidden upstairs.

I had to go for one * due rude staff. I'm loyal customer and most of the time I'm serviced by nice and friendly staff (few asians , one Lithuanian guy) however today, Eastern European lady was extremely rude. There is more Caffe Nero at the Shard, and I believe next time I will avoid this store. Only 1 person shame the whole team. All of them is amazing and only that lady makes shame for the whole team and brand itself. Unprofessional behaviour, rude and unpleasant service...

Typical Nero although rather small which is why it is an expresso version. Not great for coffee with friends if you are more than 2.

I absolutely hate this branch! most of the staff are grumpy. I have just bought my coffee and asked for only one shot! the person who got my order was dealing with another customer as well and he insisted that I should give my order! I do not understand why they need to take order whilst dealing with another customer! that is the main reason he got my order wrong! Shame how your staff can ruin your business! I wont get my coffee from here anymore and prefer to walk a bit more and get it from Costa!!!

Rubbish staff. I'm sitting, enjoying good coffee and great book and suddenly a member of staff a girl is asking me (and other people) to go and sit somewhere else because she has to clean the tables in this room, where I have been sitting for 20 minuets?! Usually alright but today the two girls working were messing around, completely forgot to even take my order and left it up to the poor barista who took my order, made my chai and then continued to take everyone else's order. It's just a shame that, for some reason, in every Nero I go to, they always ask if I want cinnamon, I say no and then they PUT IT ON ANYWAY. Honestly terrible service except for the guy working today who had to do everything himself

If you respect yourself and actually enjoy 'flavour', then find somewhere else.

The staff are always happy and if I feel down I go to my ultimate place for a soya cappuccino and the staff somehow makes my horrible homeless world less down. The staff are fantastic I couldn't get any better baristas such as the staff on duty at this Nero's, they are irreplaceable.

Not much to choose food related, however, on the two occasions I have purchase a coffee here, it was well prepared
