Vinimos por el té de la tarde. Nos sentamos y unos 10 minutos después, otra pareja entró. Después de 10 minutos, se les sirvió nuestro té, pero esto se rectificó rápidamente. Sin embargo, ¡entonces recibieron su comida 40 minutos antes que nosotros! Finalmente, un camarero vino a preguntar si pedimos un té sin queso / huevo. Le explicamos que no y que debió ser la otra pareja. Pasaron otros 10 minutos y alguien más vino con nuestra comida y nos ofreció una bebida gratis cada uno para disculparse por la espera. Aceptamos esto, pero luego descubrimos que todos nuestros sándwiches eran de jamón y mayo (que ni siquiera es uno de los sándwiches en el menú!). Después de esto, lo encajonamos todo y nos fuimos porque ya no estaba de humor. La única razón por la que le di 3 estrellas fue porque el personal era educado.

This is the first place I tried fish and chips during my trip to England. Dipping it with salt and pepper was my style, and the beer was delicious.

Me & a friend recently visited for afternoon tea. Sarah the manager was so helpful in helping me use my voucher, we were a bit late & the staff were still accommodating. The actual afternoon tea was perfect very traditional which I love. The setting was really nice, was one of if not the best afternoon tea I’ve had. Thanks guys

My Sister and I had an Afternoon Tea , for my 70th Birthday here , and what a great Celebration for me . The Food and Cocktails were delicious , and the Service from Sarah , Chjairima and Tom was excellent . I would highly recommend this Novotel . We will return .

The service at this venue was outstanding, especially from Tom. He was welcoming, attentive,and very professional, making our afternoon tea truly special. The venue itself is also lovely, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Firstly, the staff here are very attentive, friendly and efficient. They’re a credit to the restaurant. The food, wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. Overall the portion size was small, usually a gammon steak is bigger, it tasted fine, albeit a little too much fat on it. Im fairly sure the chips were oven chips, slightly dry and tasteless. The waffle was actually really nice and felt fresh. They also offer vegan ice cream which is good to see. Get some bigger and better quality cuts of meat and make your own chips and that would have been a much better meal.

Had a dinner with wife there. She ordered a pizza and I had a gammon steak and sourdough as side. Both dishes were over-salted. A bit disappointed.

Food is alright and expensive for what it is, saving grace is the awesome, friendly and professional service from Maurizio, Leo and Shirley in that order.

I came here for dinner before a show at The Globe. I got a drink, an appetizer, and an entree salad (needed something lighter). Everything I tried was absolutely spectacular, the service was superb (they checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was up to par too) , and the atmosphere was so comfortable. I will definitely come back here when I’m back in London. I’m looking forward to trying the other menu items! Thank you so much!

Después de intentar reservar el té de la tarde en este hotel no menos de 3 veces por correo electrónico y teléfono, en el intento final nos aseguraron que la reserva se hizo y no habría problemas. A la llegada, esperamos en la zona equivocada. El personal estaba señalando y notando claramente que estábamos en el lugar equivocado, pero nadie vino a hablar con nosotros. Después de hablar con recepción nos dirigimos a la zona correcta. Nos dirigimos al bar donde se llevaron los datos de nuestra reserva. Después de mucho hojear los correos impresos de las reservas no se pudo encontrar el nuestro, pero se tomó una foto del correo electrónico que habíamos enviado 6 días antes. Luego alguien más fue llamado para echar un vistazo al mismo correo electrónico. Después de confirmar que teníamos una reserva, nos señalaron a la zona de estar. Tomamos asiento y luego nos dijeron que el té de la tarde se sirve en la parte trasera del restaurante en la esquina. Nuestro servidor era educado, y trajo Prosecco junto con el té. También quitaron los sándwiches de huevo con anticipación, ya que este no es uno que comeríamos. Los sándwiches estaban muy secos con un relleno muy mínimo. Los pasteles son producidos en masa que no coinciden con el menú. Los bollos también eran pequeños y muy secos. En general, la comida era muy pobre y ambos acordamos el peor té de la tarde que habíamos tomado, incluso peor que algunos lugares por los que habíamos pagado mucho menos. Se ofreció té extra, pero nunca llegó. Nuestro consejo es que si estás buscando un capricho en Londres y quieres el té de la tarde, mantente alejado.

We had a wonderful evening with good drinks and very tasty food. The restaurant looks very modern and the waitresses are very friendly. Absolutely recommended and we would come back at any time.

Great place and great service specially from andrii.

Maybe we hit it on an off night since other reviews are so good...but our food was just ok. Two menu items were not available and the menu isn't terribly large (this was at 7pm, so it wasn't very late). I had the pumpkin tortellini and it was chewy and hard on the edges like it had either been undercooked or sat out for a while waiting for someone to order it. The hostess was so attentive and so kind though. I think if we went back it would just be for drinks and the really yummy fresh popcorn they give you with the drinks.

Had afternoon tea here and more than anything, we enjoyed the lovely nature and great customer service. Rasa was one of the lovely team members that we met and she was such a kind person. Would come again, especially if Rasa is around.

I've been working from here once a week for a few months, it's a lovely calm spot, the coffee is great, and the staff are always wonderful. I was especially impressed with Maurizio, his customer service is always remarkable! A lovely, happy and positive person who always goes the extra mile for me and other customers around!

Good restaurant, however the cooking of the meat is not requested, the fries are not salty and Calories are not displayed, so it’s complicated to eat when you suffer from an eating disorder 😭

Disappointing visit - wish we'd gone elsewhere and not believed the reviews. Pleasantly modern decor let down by terrible service and mediocre, expensive food. Waited to be seated at the entrance and were ignored for a good few minutes as the staff milled about. Eventually we were shown to our table and left to peruse the limited menu. We ordered from both the main and kids menu and while the drinks arrived in a timely manner, the food took a good while longer. The Bao buns were tasty if somewhat lacking in filling. The rack of ribs were tough but the sauce was nice. The kids burger was dry and lacking in taste. The adults burger was ok. Nothing special. Kids pasta was simple and to be fair, hard to mess up. The brownies had an odd floury taste and texture. What really disappointed us was the service. Nothing really stood out until the deserts were served. A forgotten desert left one child without until we complained. The forgotten desert to forever to arrive and the subsequent bill took 2 attempts to get. Avoid if you can and go to one of the smaller family ru places nearby.

We stayed at the Novotel for a week and were actually in the bar/restaurant every evening. The location is super cozy and thanks to the nice waiters we felt very comfortable. Our little highlight was the waitress Laura. She made our vacation even better with her kind and sunny disposition. Thank you Laura! Thank you Gourmet Bar!

We popped in on the way to the Marcos New York Italian for drinks. The very helpful, polite, friendly and smartly dressed staff greeted us, led us to our table and brought our drinks over to us. It was a very comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere, the decor is lovely and there was some sort of a diffuser spraying lovely scents into the bar area which really added to the ambiance. We will definitely return next time we are in the area

We met Vera the Supervisor / Teamleader at the breakfast room. She explained how it worked with the Buffet and where to find your things. She welcomed everyone with a smile and treats each customer attentively. A very good host, one can see how she likes her work. Well done.

We usually don’t stop at a hotel restaurant when traveling, but when a party of 5 is hungry and one is 7 years old - you go for an interesting posted menu. So in we went and we were glad we did. The food was quite good, the service quick, the atmosphere relaxing, and the price reasonable. Everything was delicious - pumpkin tortelloni, Caesar salad, BBQ Pizza, nachos, burgers, and a kids meal along with a glass of milk and some beers made for an enjoyable and relaxing end to a wonderful touring day in London.

Novotel London Bridge hotel restaurant, with a very pleasant atmosphere. Very friendly staff, especially Laura the Spanish waitress, who treated us especially well. Varied menu, with children's menu. Correct quality-price ratio.

I recently visited this bar, and I must say, the staff here is incredibly friendly and accommodating! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. As for the food, it's so delicious that it makes my taste buds do a happy dance – it's like they hired a team of gourmet comedians for the kitchen! Overall, a fantastic experience that left me with a full belly and a big smile.

Hemos comido fenomenal en este restaurante junto a London Tower al que llegamos por casualidad. Khan fue muy amable. Gran variedad en carta a precio asequible. En nuestro caso comimos pasta y postre. Muy buena elección y el local muy agradable 👌

Restaurant de l’Hotel Novotel London Bridge. A peu de carrer, Terrassa i integrat al lobby. Obert a tothom, client allotjat i de carrer. Carta variada, menú infantil, ideal per a menjar alguna cosa ràpida però ben preparada. També fan còctels molt elaborats. Alguns dies música en directe. Personal molt atent i el local és molt acollidor .

We had “full” breakfast here which was a buffet style with many healthy choices. Lacking was smoked salmon but like very much vegan croissant and all the fruits and nut choices. More vegan protein choices needed. Kids under 15 free. Adults 21.75 pounds each. Would come again.

First night in the city and we were tired. We'd had a reservation at a local pub but were never served a menu or even acknowledged, so we left. We were wandering around near our hotel (not the Novotel) and came across this place. We were seated right away, given a menu and had our drinks to us in short time. The food was delicious and staff friendly.

Today I was there and it was my worst experience of eating out. Although an interior of this restaurant is nice and cozy, a Buttermilk Chicken burger (£16,50!!!) was absolutely horrible. The burger bun wasn’t fresh, the chicken was oily and the salad had bitter flavour. Chips were extremely oily as well. And one more thing that shocked me, none of the waitresses asked me if I liked it or not. However, they didn’t forget to include the service charge 10%.

However it was very disappointing, we have had a few afternoon teas in the past which would knock spots off this one .! The sandwiches were very bland , and the scones seemed theyd been quickly heated up in microwave so by the time we ate them they were quite stale. As for the clotted cream, it was all flaky as if it was off and not like a cream at all . The other little cakes were okish but nothing special . So if you’re purchasing one of these voucher gifts for the Shard and afternoon tea think again . The view at the shard however was lovely but I would choose somewhere else for the tea .

Absolutely awful DJ here. Plays boring music I could have fallen asleep. She also will not take any song requests and pretends she doesn’t have the song or YouTube. Not sure why you are paying for a DJ when I can play better music off my phone. Very boring atmosphere, don’t visit unless you are forced to, I won’t be returning.
