They make good coffee here. Food good but expensive, service is great.

Not even ONE vegan pastry or cake. Shame on you- it’s 2024!

Had only one of the red wine choices available and not one I wanted. But the Dauvignon Balance was fine if expensive. Friendly staff and service in a nice environment (newer members room. The original one too rammed to get a seat).

Just avoid. Waited for half an hour to be told "We only do small plates and desserts". Unsurprisngly the two clearly rich, white blokes after us were given seats for "just a couple of cocktails". Everyone else in the line was told the same thing bar them. Read into that how you will, I know myself and my Jamaican girlfriend did...

You must get a meal to stay and chill out there, 3 months ago you could just drink and stay but right now, it’s not allowed, it’s not fair to force people to buy a menu

Very slow service. Dingy environment, nasty music. Real shame they got rid of the public cafe which was here, it was much nicer

A very nice experience! I highly recommend this coffee! The prices are more than reasonable and the drinks are delicious!! The decoration is very nice and the clear view over the Thames is very pleasant. Stop by for a coffee after your visit to the museum, you won't regret this moment!

I'm a member. I go about once a, month. I've booked lots of their tours for the first time. Really enjoying them. The Yoko Ono tour really gave me a full appreciation of who she was.

Queued for a long time while staff sat around looking bored. When we did get to the front the staff were uninterested and rude.

Fabulous views of the Thames, St Pauls and the City from floor-to-ceiling 6th floor windows, this narrow bar usually serves up a good wine list and menu. I’ve been coming for 15years. Unfortunately, when I took my children here the week before Christmas, the manager in charge of seating was really rude and suggested we hadn’t queued and couldn’t have a drink unless we ordered a dish per person. I politely stood firm, but she embarrassed me in front of my children and a line of people. We ordered mocktails and charcuterie from a lovely waitress and had an enjoyable hour overlooking the Thames, but the menu and prices are now pretty punchy. Be aware that this little gallery bar/restaurant has lofty aspirations.

TERRIBLE! This was the worst food experience I've ever had in London. Bland or overly peppery. A shame. Do not bother to come here; you have better views and food from the Oxi Tower.

Tolle Aussicht über London und die Themse. Sehr modern. Man scannt einen QR-Code an seinem Platz und bestellt und bezahlt dann via Smartphone. Sehr praktisch. Toller Service. Wir hatten nur Getränke und haben sofort einen tollen Platz bekommen.

Sold my wife a doughnut for our 3 year old then proceeded to demand it back as it had been sold to another customer. Our 3 year old already had hold of the doughnut so was traumatised as they took it back. Staff extremely unsupportive and unrepentant, leaving a toddler in tears. I sent complaint email and received no response. Do not spend your money here and support this appalling service.

It's good a little pricey but I am mad THERE IS NO CHEESE ON THE BLOODY CHARCUTERIE BOARD WHY WOULD YOU MAKE IT HAVE NO CHEESE FOR 13 POUNDS Other than that it's a fantastic view with good drinks

Superb view. The service and food wasn't great. Slow and wrong items. Amazing window and good vibes. One of our favourite views. No longer serving hot drinks either.

Went to Tate Modern today. Tried to have a drink in Terrace Bar. We were seated immediately at 2 of the window seats with marvellous views. Given menus and told to order by scanning. We were not able to do that so asked for member of staff to take order. Waited 15 minutes then walked out. Went down to members area and spoke to Host (Rasna Hussain) about our experience. She was so apologetic and asked if we would like to go into the members area for a drink which was perfect. Considering we were one of the first to be seated in the Terrace Bar we should have not been over looked because we were not using our phone to order. Something is seriously wrong if this is the case. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

Aunque no tengan café, el servicio es muy amable y las vistas impresionantes. Es un buen sitio para tomar un chisme y picar algo con vistas a la catedral de St. Paul.

Great view but expect to wait 20 minutes for even the simplest bar snack. My 3 year old fell asleep waiting for the food lmao.

Very disappointed in the terrace bar. Went in for a drink and enjoy the view over the river and were told ( despite it being almost empty) that we had to order food to enter. Left, and bought our coffee's outside the Tate.

Es una cafetería muy bonita y con buenas vistas. El servicio es muy amable, los dos camareros que nos atendieron fueron muy majos. Tienen variedad de tés y el café está bueno. Precios un poco caros (3,20£ café o té)

The Tate Modern Building is a great place to explore arts. A unique experience in the heart of London, this place is worth visiting with friends and family. There are some restaurants outside the Tate as well as some breaks pace inside the Building too.

Tea was decent tho coffee was abit bland. Very disappointed that all drinks were served in disposable cups. Expensive.

Most normal people would go here for a bite, a drink, and to socialise. Being largely unfamiliar with the latter, I went in for the view of the Thames embankment, very nice too.

Salad was divine! As was the excellent tea. No tea bags here!

Lovely place to chill meet up and relax

Tasty food however the service charge was calculated on the price we had prepaid for both the exhibit + the lunch hence we ended up paying a £10 service charge for 2 coffees. Not very transparent or honest, similarly we asked for water and were charged for a bottle of water.

Yummy chai latte available here and oat milk

As a vegetarian, I had the choice of an egg mayonnaise sandwich or a beetroot wrap with hazelnut granola, aside from a more expensive savoury tart with salad. I chose the wrap and it was delicious. I was on my own and easily found a seat at a long table. I loved the decor, and service was very efficient.

Nice cafe with very good view, if you are lucky enough to find a seat.

The view is fantastic, however the coffee is just terrible! I’m not sure what they did to the coffee beans but it tasted like burnt soap! Better stay away from it… Everything else we had was fine.

mother and i came here Thursday for jubilee celebration after we were at the tate modern's spring terrace river pop up pizza alfresco we had a pizza then went for drinks with a view and boy what a view funny the same lady that served me at the alfresco pizza was also on the till at the cafe in the tate modern when i went to get a drink so funny mother needing to go bog seemed to take us to the best places on thursday as we celebrated the jubilee the spring river terrace pop up pizza had buskers by it singing old favourites and we sang along and i wasnt expecting such a sensational view great food great service great staff oh and great art there were some oriental ladies doing art with broomsticks moving sand around on ground floor we went first floor to take a look at it from above as it should be seen tate modern is great much to offer great staff food and drink thanks

Delicious drinks and food with an unbeatable view

The view is magnificent. The food is shockingly bad. Dry stale cold bread and pickles.

Really good bar with a selection of decent beers on tap and in can. It's just a shame that they close at 6pm almost every day!

Great view but that's all. It is always busy with people to have a nice view. But it's worth to wait to enjoy the view.

Climate emergency? Not at Tate. Keep going with single use plastic cups 👿. There is a recycling bin but without clear information what goes there.

Nada wow. No vale la pena. Buenos tragos y la comida anda bien pero no es nada especial. Lo mejor es ir al piso 10. Aprovechar la vista y después seguir para otro lado.

Prestigious building but the bars layout gives it a slightly cramped feel. Loud and busy on weekends. In the summer the terrace is a good place to catch the view of the river though.

The terrace is really nice, the view is perfect and at 360°. It is free and you can see all London from there. Much better then the shard in my opinion.

Amazing views over London from the 10th floor. A must do for anyone visiting the Tate Modern Gallery.

Very nice spacious street level café/bar with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in Tate Modern. Nice outdoor seating area with good urban views, including Shard. Tables with umbrellas outside, so its is suitable for rainy weather. High chairs are there also. Self help service. My friend and I, both enjoyed our cakes and coffee there after exhibitions. It was peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff. Cakes were great. Alcoholic drinks are served there also. Located next to a book shop, on a street level, which is level 1.
