Caffè Nero in Exeter

This was a cafe Nero in the centre of Exeter while on holiday, it was a nice experience pleasant place to have a coffee/tea plenty of seating indoor and outdoor

Lovely place but needs new chairs they are filthy lime green canvas chairs really need cleaning replacing put me off drinking in there staff lovely friendly shame about the chairs let’s the place down big love the coffee which I ended up taking away as couldn’t sit In Dirty chairs

A very nice smaller Nero on a quieter street. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the new more recent additions. I like that it is now open later again! Thank you, staff.

Went here for a coffee and was absolutely disgusted at the state of the seating , also told I could only have a paper cup even though cups where above coffee machine , did not give any reason why , I will no longer be visiting this place for a coffee

Needs a good scrub interior and exterior. Always rubbish or vomit at front door. Taste of lattes is not consistent. Sometimes good but other times just flavored milk. Haven’t been back in ages since I realised this and will not be returning.

The quality of the coffee and mocha is inferior compared to the other cafe nero in town. In particular both mine and my partner's Mocha missed half the ingredients listed on the menu and the flavor was bland

Reasonable prices. Always stop by for a pot of tea - highly recommend peppermint! Staff are always friendly and the seasonal mince pies are delicious as a sneaky treat. Very welcoming atmosphere, and plenty of seating to accommodate guests even when busy.

I go regularly to this café just for their great customer service. Friendly and attentive even when short staffed. Won’t go anywhere else. Thank you 😊

My favourite coffee shop.. Great service with very friendly staff and always polite.. Not many coffee shops are like this one.. Always helpful and a friendly vibe.. If you are in the city centre they are worth a visit.

I went there for breakfast and I was very impressed with the food and service there. I ordered a chicken and pesto lattice, raspberry cake and coffee cake with hot chocolate. Each of the dishes had a very fresh flavour. Moreover, I was able to use my taste card app as well and get some discount here. Highly suggested place for a cup of coffee.

This was my 1st Cafe Nero coffee stop..... The girl serving was friendly and helpful and I reckon I may well continue to use cafe Nero in the future

Usually use the Taunton Nero so friendly there especially towards my little chihuahua in Exeter Nero today very different experience won't be coming in again looking forward to going back into the Taunton Nero again the staff at Exeter could do with having some training in Taunton Nero

Staff and coffee great but place could do with a refurb. Grubby below stairs, toilets could do with a spring clean!

Got there at around 3.30 , thought would sit down for a coffe and food , ordered then was told we couldn't sit in and no seats out side , so I wasn't happy , then sat in the chair by next Caffe , there were no customers and we got told we were being cheeky and had to move , would have gladly moves if there were customers but no one around

I'm a fan of Cafe nero. Many of their coffee shops have very comfy seating and no loud music. The Nero on the High Street of Exeter has an upstairs with plenty of comfy seating and no loud music. In fact they would do well to play Strauss's Waltz music and other top ten gentle themes. With total respect to Whitney Houston not everyone wants to hear, 'I will always love you' blasting at 9 on the Richter scale while sipping coffee and a panatone cake.

I really have to share my coffee experience at this Nero. Out of all the coffee venues I've been to, this is easily the Winner. Josh and Ellie were so friendly and good humoured, it was an absolute pleasure meeting them. I look forward to meeting them again, and experiencing their first class customer service. What lovely people. Well done, Ellie and Josh. You're the best ! Keep smiling ! X

Never been before, nice quick treat. Had a pigs in blanket toastie, surprised how good it was. Staff a friendly and service as expected. Need a tea or coffee and snack worth a visit.

Upholstery desperately needs replacing/repairing. Too many people sit around after finishing their drinks, they treat it as a resting place. Quite often young children running around, a serious health and safety issue.!!!! Coffee snd cakes very good.

This coffee shop i have been twice and i have to wait for 20 mins at that 2 times because staff been away and then they have not got my favourite cakes. Feel nearly close down? Hope not but i wouldn't coming back anyway.

Lovely staff - this venue is the best one in the city centre, which there are two. Always a great coffee and 2 particular staff members are SO FRIENDLY - great customer service. The other venue polar opposite!!!

Of course Cafe Nero style food/drinks (which I personally enjoy very much) but wonderful serivce and more seating than most local coffee shops considering the space.

Exellent cup of coffee as usual, tried the salted caramel and chocolate cheesecake, very yummy! No time for a photo, didn't last 30 seconds with the grandchildren!

Extremely diligent staff, fast service and quality drinks. Tired seating and the door doesn't shut so can be cold in windy weather. Head office need to invest in refurbing this branch!

Standard cafe Nero with the usual prices and choices available. Quite small, so not a great amount of seating, feels a bit cramped, however staff lovely, clean cafe and toilets available.

Small branch of the chain and looking a little shabby but coffee fine and the tomato and basil soup and sourdough was good

Like all Caffè Nero stores it serves good coffee at a reasonable price. The staff are always welcoming and the food is good.

Coffee always excellent a very loud female member of staff bellowing so you couldn't hear yourself speak. Furniture a bit tatty and a bit dirty. Obviously only go there for the coffee which is really good

Sat having a coffee with my partner after a day of shopping- we arrived at about 5.30, the shop not shutting til 6.30. Started drinking our coffee and a member of staff bought an arm chair from elsewhere that must've been moved by a previous customer and slammed it down at the table we were sat on in the corner without a word. Following this the same staff member proceeded to begin noisily sweeping the shop, starting by the door then moving towards us. She swept the 2 tables by the window next to us moving the furniture loudly, and then started sweeping around us and under my partners chair whilst we were sat drinking our coffee! Such rudeness/ignorance.. no need as still had 45 mins before shop closes!
