Caffe Nero in South Somerset

My husband and I frequently visit many Nero coffee shops But out of all the many we do Yeovil shop the staff are very rude unfriendly not helpful at all We will not be visiting it again even tho it's most local to us

Great place for a hot drink & chat with friends or even staff...Staff are wonderful with a great sense of humour. Everything very reasonably priced

Efficient staff, friendly and helpful. They bring drinks over which is kind of them. It was busy when we arrived. Good atmosphere.

Always use cafe Nero in Yeovil, they guys here are perfect in every way possible, have reviewed them previously on a number of occasions but my old account was hacked

Wednesday 11th January and we visited this branch of Cafe Nero along the High Street in Yeovil. This was not our first choice, we had intended to go to Costa, but they were only doing take away sales, it was not the nicest day to sit outside drinking coffee. We found an empty table by the window, which we had to clear before we could sit down. Once settled at the table we went to the counter to purchase some food and coffees. We purchased 2 flat white coffees, a BLT and an egg mayonnaise sandwiches, which cost just under £13. The egg sandwich was definitely lacking some seasoning, the BLT was not too bad. The coffees were flavoursome and well made. The window ledge need a good clean, it did not appear to have been done in a long time. The floor was also in need of a clean. The furniture was rather worn, tatty and in need of some refurbishment. In fairness it would be reasonable to describe here as a bit grotty. The state of the toilet added to the general rundown condition of the place.

Every so often, I'll order from here and have it delivered to my house. I do it to treat my siblings and mother, and every time it's always their favourite day of the month. The food is always deliciously made, just the right temperature too. It's always reliable, they never mess up my orders. The Chai Tea Latte here is truly one of the best. I love how secure they pack everything too, nothing is ever spilled, food or drink. The care in the packaging too. It's incredible and honestly it's worth the money. Love buying breakfast on those special days.

What a disgrace the service is in this branch. We called in today then went to take a seat and it was obvious that the table had not been cleaned. I approached the two male staff and asked if they would wipe the table for us. One gave me a dirty look and the other bent down to get a cloth and spray. The extremely rude guy bent down next to him and they began to whisper between themselves. I asked for a frappe, the one advertised in the window and was asked if it was the caramel one? I said it was the one the other side of the poster in the window to which he retorted he didn't know what that was. I said it was the pitstachio one. He began to prepare it and asked if there was anything else? My reply was a skinny cappuccino please. He repeated a frappe latte and would I like cream on it? I repeated a skinny cappuccino please. He had already picked up ice and a blender jug which he then threw on the side. I told him to forget it and that I was unimpressed with his attitude and service we then walked out. I would given this venue no stars if I had a choice. The young man needs to learn some manners and customer service skills. We went across the road to Costa and though again had to request that the table was cleared and wiped the girl did so with a smile and even came to me at the counter to say she had mopped the floor too.

On occasion pop in Nero for a very nice coffee. Great location and ideal to relax after shopping work etc. The staff are highly motivated and are a credit to the young guy who leads the team. There’s always a nice selection of confectionary and drinks. All in all a great venue and well worth a visit. 10/10.

Always greeted by friendly staff, who give it the personal touch making you feel at home rather than going for a coffee. They pay attention to what the customer wants and offer prompt service always a great selection of pastries to choose from. There are many coffee shops in Yeovil but WE always support Nero’s , No Contest ... They are simply Thee Best....

Great vegan offerings now at Cafe Nero. I had the tomato and pesto toastie, lovely! They had no oat milk left today though 😔 but I could still get soya milk 👍

We been here many times now always we enjoyed our coffee’s very nice place very helpful staff and quick service place to go .

Friendly staff and very quick service for my takeaway coffee. I also love the free tap water this sets it apart from other coffee shops

There's nice lodge above, so you may really enjoy this place watching the High Street from above, also customer service is on high level. I will definitely order a coffee again at Caffe Nero.

Having soft furnishings in a cafe is all very well and good, but fabric is quickly and easily soiled which is not a good thing for new customers to see. The initial feeling is of disgust. The tea and coffee and chocolate cake was nice, but I do think the staff could make a better effort at keeping the upstairs area clean. For example the tables were not wiped and there was some food on the floor. It's not good.

Coffee is always good at Cafe Nero and this was no exception. Dog friendly which is a big bonus and some comfortable seating. Staff friendly and helpful but toilets poor!

Best mocha EVER !! Lovely, helpful staff. Wonderful selection of cakes and yummies to choose from. Can be busy, but there is seating upstairs. Lovely place for everyone including families and dogs. :)

We were in Yeovil so called in for coffee. As usual the service was good and the coffee okay. We had cakes and they were fresh and tasty. We use quite a lot of Nero outlets and I do feel the layouts are a bit naff and the tables in line like in care homes.

Popped in for a quiet relaxed coffee while watching the wprld go by outside, value for money,polite staff and clean tables

Stopped on Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat and a coffee. As visitors to the area it was the first coffee shop we stumbled upon. Toasted cheese and ham sandwich was lovely as was the salted caramel cheesecake but the coffee was awful. Very bitter and luke warm. Why do these places take an age to make a cup of coffee and then it’s always just warm? That’s why you don’t complain at the time - because by the time you get back in the queue and they make another one you’ve lost another 20 minutes.

I was in Yeovil with my grandson and we decided to have a well deserved coffee and snack, so called into Nero. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and it was good to see our old friend from the Street store who now manages this outlet, George. As always the cakes were really fresh and the coffee just perfect. Nero is a must for your coffee in Yeovil.

I been in this place many times and always was lovely staff and lovely coffess but today I been here with 2 friends and we received lovely service from very good gentleman Jorgos he was very friendly with everyone and was he's first day in this place good luck

Went to café Nero weekend of the snow (02 & 03/03/2018) and was very pleased to find it open both days on the trot as most other coffee shops were closed due to staff shortages. Warm & friendly staff & customers, delicious hot chocolate orange perfect for snow days!

I have tried caffe nero first time the coffee is good and strong . its not very spacious but its okey the food and drinkS are good anyway.

I am beginning in loose my like of Nero, staff do not listen, make assumptions about your order. I could not be more pissed off with the service.

Stopped in here for a couple of drinks and the service was polite and friendly and the coffee tasted delicious, would call in here again 😊

El día fuimos en la principal máquina de café no funcionaba- así que en vez de desastre el personal hizo que fuera una experiencia fabulosa e hizo una gran positivo de la situación. Filtro de café gratis y personal profesional y muy servicial y comunicarse perfectamente.

Drinking areas are ok but sadly I had to use the loo. My advice to you, just don't use it, disgusting. It had been marked off as being cleaned that morning but clearly it hadn't been touched for weeks, now off to bathe in bleach!

I was served by such a lovely lady. I had my hands full with baby and she put the sugar in my coffee for me and came and held the door so I could be on my way easily. Really brilliant service thank you.

Café inusualmente fuerte para un Nero, no es mi taza de té, pero mi esposa me dijo que me gustó más fuerte. Me voy de aquí sólo un par de veces al año, cuando visita familiar, su más libre que la mayoría de Nero's vamos...

Tuve un café o un bocadillo aquí con mi marido y mi madre - fue una agradable cafetería en la calle principal y muy fácil de encontrar una mesa, incluso en las ventas de enero cuando había mucha gente fuera.

Cafe Nero en Yeovil es el proveedor más coherente de café de calidad que me he encontrado, cada vez que tengo café la calidad es la misma, excelente. El personal es siempre muy acogedores y conocen el café 10 de 10.

Nos encanta venir aquí para tomar café y tarta para almorzar. El personal es muy amable y eficiente, y el ambiente es relajado y agradable.

As we were only passing through Yeovil and didn't know what to expect, it was good to find a familiar Caffe Nero for our lunch stop. The staff were really friendly and service was prompt. Everything was clean and the food was tasty. The granola slices were really scrummy, better than I've tasted elsewhere! The premises are quite large and airy but, and this is the only negative, the tables are a bit close together downstairs so it was difficult to have a private conversation. We'd recommend this place certainly.

Visited on a cold afternoon on my tea break. Ordered two regual hot chocolates, the order took ages to be made. Staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. Sat at a table up stairs, must tables were dirty and need cleaning. Our drinks were cold and we were able to drink them easily. The whole shop looks tired and is in need of redecoration

Michelle and all the staff at Nero's are amazing, brilliant coffee topped off by the fact they all know your name, your favourite drinks and what cake you like. Glass fronted so fantastic for people watching and a lovely friendly atmosphere

Not only they serve nice coffee but they also close at 6 during the week and 5:30 on a Sun, so many times we have managed to pop in just before they were closing :) Nothing beats a soya latte after a busy day!

Delicious coffee excellent friendly staff and an ideal place to sit and people watch. Go there often and would have a coffee anywhere else in Yeovil.

Lovely coffee and a wide variety of different drinks, pasties etc As ColboySomerset said, the staff are friendly, cheerful and very helpful, can't fault them. Best place in town for coffee.

The coffee at Caffe Nero is always good and so is the choice of other drinks, light snacks and pastries. The outstanding feature with this Caffe Nero is how pleasant and helpful the staff are, particularly if you as a customer have mobility or carrying difficulties. There is always a vibrant atmosphere here.
