Caffè Nero in Uttlesford

Very friendly staff with such a welcoming vibe. Excellent blended iced latte. The peaceful seating was a much-needed reprieve from the busy airport.

As expected, caffeteria with high price for average quality beverage.

We were constantly moved from our quene. Had to wait at each line and arrived only after 15 min to order and pay. Honestly no organization. Coffee was OK. Food ok

I’ve just ordered a coffee and the lady asked me if I wanted a new sort of coffee shot. I said yes, not knowing about the extra charge. NOT HAPPY!, it’s ok to offer new stuff but always mention the cost to clients, otherwise it’s called SCAM.

Jessica was very rude, and her attitude stank. She didn’t even take our order properly. She ruined our morning coffee. Very bad. 👎🏽

Very sorry to say but the coffee was poor and not worth the money it looked a cup of milk & tasted like a cup of milk. Nero beans are quite strong so maybe the grinder requires cleaning. If you want weak coffee this is the place.

Convenient stop for a quick coffee or snack while on the go. The coffee is reliably good, and the pastries are fresh and the sandwiches tastes good. It’s a busy location, but seating isn’t limited, the staff manage the rush efficiently. While the atmosphere is less cozy than other branches, it serves its purpose well as a pitstop. Perfect for grabbing a drink before heading to your next destination!

The pastries tasted like cardboard and gosh knows how many days they’re sat on that grime shelf. The speciality coffee was sugary garbage. Very nice book selection.

Unfortunately the coffee was not good here at all. Had Nero many times and usually fine but not today. Flat white and americano were not good and service was very poor

I asked for soy milk in my coffee whilst I was there today because real milk sets off my acid badly. The server agreed although tried to get me to agree to have cream on my coffee? When she gave me my coffee she said she almost ‘ forgot ‘ and almost gave me real milk but it was soy. So I drank it and anyway, I had an absolutely awful experience by the time I got on the plane my acid reflux had flared up terribly and my stomach was absolutely awful. And I spent the whole flight suffering and in pain. The acid burnt my throat like it does so now I’ve spent my first night of my holiday just in absolute pain. They need to train their staff better to take things more seriously. It wasn’t even ridiculously busy. Bit of a shame.

The staff couldn't even be bothered to separate the toasty...see picture. I asked for brown sugar for my cappuccino, your one looked like I'd asked her for something highly important, she huffed then went and got some from the drive through window, proceeded to walk past me at the til area put the sugar in the area and then pointed me to it. Absolutely diabolical, customer service skills = nil Time for management to check the camera and confirm would have been just after 8am 24-11-24.

Are u kidding me? I ordered ice americano but staff gave me hot americano so I told him that I ordered ice americano and he gave me hot americano with some ice hahahahaha Wow. So I complained it again. However, he just filled an empty cup with ice and poured the Americano into the ice cup. Don't you think that it would taste bland? If you don’t want to work, don’t do it.

@04/06/24 I've received excellent service from a trainee barista at the Stansted bus terminal station branch. Salted caramel&pistachio Frappe Crème (with oat milk, espresso shot and whipped cream) made to perfection💛 Nice texture and very flavourful refreshing drink, I'm very impressed! Lovely staff all the time here👍 I can recommend this branch, it is my favourite spot where I chill and relax before I dive into the airport madness.

Nice and quiet place that remains open at night when the airport is closed. Primarily serves hot and soft drinks and baked snacks. Both indoors and outdoors seating.

More than just coffee, there is always welcome smile from the team. Clean and inviting shop, excellent and consistent service all the time. Ella is super friendly and polite. My favourite store so far.

I can understand that for a quick operation they don't offer regular cups but only take away cups. However when I asked to leave it with out the plastic lid, I have been told that it was a company policy to serve it with. Keep wasting

They do not have cups for the coffee , only paper glasses, even not plates for an expensive sandwich, only a lot of waste everywhere, paper and plastic. They have some pictures about how their "good" coffee grows up etc...very hypocritical

24h open, a wonderful sandwich with melting cheese, warmed on the grill, and good coffee! Really love the place

The lady Barista in training with the red t-shirt it's been amazing! She was lovely and kind on the service, please make her an effective team member right now! She makes for me a perfect soya latte, (and I'm usual very demanding about the quantity of foam or milk, but she simple done it perfectly) in addition she proposed me a new limited coffee blend that I really liked. Coffee was good, cookie was fine...the only thing is that people comment on this store as if it was the one in the main building so I expected sofas and nice place but it turned out that this was only express with limited seating area (one table with normal chairs and few barstools)

I had amazing experience in coffee Nero Stansted airside. One of the best coffees made by lovely Monica, I think the best cappuccino I ever had. I can see the shop is very busy but the guys were able cope under the pressure. Best place to have coffee at Stansted airport and I only can recommend for anyone travelling from there.

Arrive after a long flight, got to wait 30 minutes for bus and the only member of staff is on break for 30 mins with a handmade sign. Taking the Mick, 24hours, not when he is on break it isn't. Losing money, customers and my patience. Thanks

The staff, Qaasim ghafoor, was a nice chap. I ask him for a free re-fill as my water bottle was empty and he kindly agreed. He had a jolly demeanour which was quite warming to me. Shout out to him.👍

Rubbish literally everywhere. Look like a rubish dump inside. People sitting with their feet on the tables. Seats are dirty. Took the two men working over 7 mins to make 2 coffees. Single shot cappuccino runs through a double shot sieve so one shot runs outside’s the cup. Amateur coffee place with not exactly amateur prices.

Got coffee here at 5am. Was cold tasted horrible. A trainee Barista left on their own. Other stores I've visited are so much better, disappointed.

Decent coffee, decent food, absolutely disgraceful service! I was standing at the counter waiting to order a coffee, instead of the employee taking my order, he just stood there looking out the window. I asked him if he could take my order, he fully ignored me and turned away. There was another employee there too, just watching a 2min timer on the toaster. Four customers including myself ended up walking out.

Beautiful store inside Stansted airport. The dining room for customers is really beautiful, full of books arranged side by side to form a large semicircle wall. The store is well cared for in every detail, very clean, the girl often came by to collect the cups, with great respect. The staff very kind and helpful. The manager is a very good person, ready to respond to customer needs with a smile and kindness. I was on July 7, 2023, in the morning, and it was a wonderful experience. Whenever I fly from Stansted I will always stop at this Caffè Nero as it is well worth it. It relaxes you a lot.

Nice place to kill the time waiting for your bus. You can see your bay from the window. Coffee good and strong. Very small selection of snacks at 8 p.m.

Buono il caffè e cortese lo staff. Il caffè qui è probabilmente il migliore in tutto l'aeroporto di Stansted e anche nel prezzo.

I had a really good barista experience and believe their team should be recognised for all the hard work they do. Oli in particular was excellent. They should give him a raise.

Unfortunately, latte was too hot, latte is a latte and should be made properly and temperature checked, couldn't even hold the cup :(

4 members of stuff just standing around chatting when people were in the queue. When attended I’ve asked for warm late I got super hot instead and my crossiant after made was left in open toaster which certainly doesn’t make it warm after all, but pleasant experience

I'm giving the five stars for the decoration, all good books and atmosphere. That's a real chance to have a nice place whilst you have to wait at the airport. I always drink my coffee, eat some sandwiches, and charge my phone, and every time. I feel so good to sit long hours without any question around these books and drinking my coffee.

In sorry to leave this review, But someone has to say it! The worse Chai latte ever!..it’s basically water,I even tried to ask for a strong one!..luckily I did!I guess that otherwise would it be a very clear water!..it doesn’t taste chai at all..and cinnamon on top?!why even ask if I wanted if it’s not there at all!!

While we were eating band drinking the service started to dust the lamps above us causing all the dust and dirt falling into our plates and cups. The manager was standing next to her and was pointing finger where to dust... unbelievable!!

I recently visited Caffe Nero near Stansted Airport for breakfast while waiting for my bus. I just had a double espresso and a blueberry muffin, the muffin was definitely not fresh as it was too dry. The coffee was alright although I had to tones of sugar in it so I can drink it. I strongly suggest that when travelling it’s better to have snacks from home and not waste your money for bad quality of food and drinks.

Just landed at the airport, the airport was incredibly busy, however this Caffe Nero by the coach stops closes at 4pm!

Stayed in the waiting area to wait for recovery for my car for a few hours. One door wasn't working and stayed open the whole time and everyone inside was freezing.

4 stars given - not a fan of the products myself (unpleasanntly bitter coffee) but the service was great and friendly.

Perfect place to grab a decent cup of coffee. The drinks here are always great and I’ve never had a bad one! The staff here are friendly, polite and efficient. The seating area isn’t the largest, but if you’re only wanting to grab a coffee to ‘take away’ - then this is the place! Quality beverages and friendly staff.

Idk if this place closes at night at all. Nice food but I think that the food in Poland is much better. A crazy guy works there, he shares "lizard are running the world" theories and seems very serious about it.
