Friendly, good coffee. They rescued my Jack Wolfskin jacket I had left there.

Fast service and strong coffee with a good choice of hot snacks. The branch has plenty of nice seating inside.

It's an absolute must when we are in Wells. All the staff are so very friendly. Always busy and customers seem very happy. Food is excellent and though friendly the staff are always busy. Other Coffee restaurants can be empty but yet to find that here which goes to show how good they are.

Excellent coffee, good location.

Have been going here for years but its getting increasingly dirty. Rearlydo we see tables being wiped . Dogs are allowed to sit on furniture and we have had to ask for cloth to wipe dirty paw prints off before we can sit down. Have seen dogs lick crumbs off tables and yesterday even saw one drink water from customer glass!!! Weekends particularly staff rather chat behind the counter than concentrate on customers. All in all its filthy and noone does anything about it

Good Coffee Shop on the High Street in Wells.

Same coffee as every Caffe Nero obviously which is average in my opinion, tiramisu was pretty good. Quite nicely decorated, clean and the staff are very friendly. The music was a bit loud to be honest.

It was a very cold day so we went in for a coffee to warm us up. Great service, options, prices and warmth! Thanks

Disappointed to ask if I can pay for an extra 'shot' of chocolate in a hot chocolate - in the same way as you can ask for an e tra for coffees. Then asked if they could make it as chocolatey as possible. But the result was just like an average watery one anywhere! Why isn't it possible to get a hot chocolate that actually makes you go 'yum' literally anywhere? Whichever party promises chocolatey hot chocolate in their manifesto for the next General Election gets my vote.

Lovely Nero a great coffee and staff

Decent enough coffee shop but very small inside and feels quite cramped, staff are alwaya very nice but on each visit it seems to take a very long time to prepare 2 drinks.

Really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the appear to enjoy their job. Staff also have a sense of humour which in this day and age has got to be good. Worth 5 stars all day.

Unfortunate experience here today. The Barista who served me was obviously not having a good day... She told me that my selection only comes in one size to which I replied could I have it to take away, which was met with well it still only comes in one size! The coffee itself was extremely bitter, not to the standard I have come to expect.

The best Nero, staff are so friendly, great coffee, nice pastries.

The tomato and mozzarella toasted sandwich was awful. A soggy mess with no discernable trace of the mozzarella. One to avoid!

Excellent food. A nice place to stop for a bite to eat & a drink. Staff are friendly.The toilet leaves a lot to be desired.

It's not only about the taste, and to be clear the coffee/hot chocolate was very good, it's also about the overall experience. This coffee shop was very loud with cups being cleaned next to the coffee making stations. It was so loud that the cashier could not hear what I'm trying to order. After that I received not exactly what was ordered. For places like this I'd normally go to sit and while enjoying my coffee do some work or reading or have a conversation with someone, but that wouldn't be possible when so loud. Additionally, the toilets are out of order and everyone needs to use the disabled toilet which is not very convenient.

Something lacking - maybe staff. Little bit busy on a nice sunny Saturday but service slow, tables not wiped or cleared. Please get your staff some help

So much better experience here than the 2 in Bath we visited yesterday. 2 trainee baristas keen to please and very welcoming. We came back for a second visit because we so enjoyed the first. This is what we expect from Nero. First visit in Bath yesterday seemed a bit chaotic the second we seemed an interruption on their day.

Good Cafe Nero branch. Nice decor, good service from Amy, coffee excellent, toasted panettone excellent too. Not too busy in a small, honeypot city like Wells with lots of cafés and visitors. Clean toilet. Good seating. Worth a stopoff!

Espresso and Caramel Frappe Crème was exceptional! Lovely lady serving let us have the extra iced milk for a child. Usually open later than the other coffee shops as well.

Bright, clean and airy feel to the place. Air con going which was a bonus the day I went as it was 31degrees outside. 2 members of staff on shift, both friendly and polite.

Good, friendly service. Staff seemed very covid aware and safe - checking customers checked in on app for example, though unfortunately not much social distancing from custoners in queue.

Didn't seem to be on the ball today. Had to tell them we hadn't received the teacake twice and by the time my husband received it, we had finished our coffees.

A large Caffé Nero's ideally situated in the very historical City of Wells that has plenty of indoor seating, that sell a good range of hot & cold beverages, as well as hot & cold savories plus delicious cakes, I ordered a flat white from the very friendly server which was made to perfection. Unfortunately it does get extremely busy most of the time due to its location, but there always seems to be plenty of staff to serve you as quickly as they possibly can & clear the tables.

Always try to call in here when we go to the Saturday market, such nice staff!

Popped in for a coffee and a piece of cake. Really good flat white but a very disappointing cappuccino cake, it had hardly any flavour at all. They could do with some more staff, the place (including the toilet) was more than a bit grubby.

Very busy when I went table's not being cleaned at a quick rate meaning I had to improvise. Also my coffee was very sickly I'd asked for a Xmas one but didn't expect this.

Hello. I am a regular customer at my local cafe Nero’s. I go there often and it brings me heaps of joy. The baristas are lovely ladies and know my order off by heart! They know more about me than most of my family. Thanks guys keep bringing me comfort. Lots of chair space and skinny baristas. Masses of cake choices and drink options. Thankyou so much for always serving me the tea. Sis.

My favourite coffee shop. This one is inside one of the oldest buildings in Taunton - known as The Tudor - and has an atmosphere to match.

Good coffee in wells main high street. My decaf soya latte was well made, ok it's decaf and soya but believe me it's easy to get wrong and cafe Nero made the best one I've ever had. Gluten free crumble slice was tasty. Lots of comy setting.

Always a friendly welcome,use these coffee shops whilst holidaying in our touring caravan and also dog friendly in majority of them.....I always have a gingerbread latte and they're not stingy with the syrup
