I am a regular customer of Cafe. Out of all the coffee chain cafe, its my and my friends go to place.One and only draw back point is, i alway found dirty table. I can understand in the busy time, but most of the time i found it bit mess, which makes me decide to take away one star. Hope to see some changes in future.

Popped in today while out shopping and found the cafe to be a really lovely place. The decor is really nice and gives the place a cosy, welcoming atmosphere even though it's big enough to guarantee a feeling of privacy wherever you sit. The staff were friendly and helpful and the (soy) vanilla latte and carrot cake delicious. I tried the Colombian origin blend and it was well worth the extra 30p. And the toilets were clean, too! An excellent overall experience and one I will be very happy to repeat in the future. Recommended

I just popped in there to get a coffee and something to eat while on a break and had I know the local cafe only takes cash payments I stopped in here, the place was very clean and the service was fantastic, the coffee was fantastic as was the toastie I had. Now I know wear to go next time I'm hear, and it was all very reasonably priced so bonus

Food is overpriced and dull, coffee made by the women is great and consistent. They seem to do everything in that shop, never see the men doing anything. Decently clean and organised. Way too expensive for what you get, and they constantly raise prices.

I've always liked going to cafe Nero over the years! It's a great place to have coffee. Staff is very friendly. Francesco in particular is amazing! Always makes us feel welcome.

Visited cafe Nero today, me and the wife had a luxury hot chocolate (Not very luxury) very very dark in chocolate flavour, like it’s made with dark chocolate, not very nice for me and the wife far too rich, toilets disgusting needs deep deep clean, sausage roll was to die for and staff where friendly. Needs improvement.

Nice place to stop for a coffee. Close to all the shops. They also have a place where you can order a coffee and pick it up on the go. Large car park nearby and places for disabled drivers. Also this is a pedestrian area which means there are no cars while you are shopping making this a nice place to shop if you are disabled person. Just the place for a chocolate drink.

The toilet I used (nearest to the seating area) was grubby and poorly maintained. The underside of the seat was stained and/or dirty, and its hinge area clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time. Copper pipework to the basin was covered in verdigris. Generally out of keeping with an otherwise pleasant café.

Long wait to get served, sticky toffee cheese cake was stale.

I love this place, is like at home and my favorite summer ice cherry latte with coconut milk is one of the best. I am on keto so none of the food served here is for me but I’m for coffee and atmosphere. My the best place in Huntingdon.

Pretty good Nero, I'd say the simpler you order the coffee the better it would be. Nice selection of food which is not the same stuff you find in other chain coffee shops.

Lovely set up for a coffee shop.ucj better than the dark dingy places you normally see. The open airy feel was welcomed. There was plenty of seating and different options for what you may need. The service was great and pleasant. The coffee and cake was lovely. I would love it if all the coffee shops were like this one. Keep it up Nero.

Reasonable place for coffee in town but can be long waits at times. Wish had more vgn options too, very little really and then sold out. Surely a better way operationally that just queuing in a dreary slow queue in 2023?

Coffee was great, as were the staff members. Unfortunately the tables were either dirty or sticky, the disabled toilet had no toilet roll, was not clean & the toilet seat was held on by one fixing. The disabled toilet really could do with a revamp.

My daughter placed an order from Caffe Nero (Huntingdon) through Just Eat today. The first she knew something was wrong with the order was when a very angry delivery driver rang her saying they'd had a wasted trip and had been waiting around for 10 mins to be told by the Nero staff that the order didn't exist. My daughter checked her order which had been accepted and charged for (she confirmed this to the driver). He then passed his phone to a staff member who was very blunt and unhelpful, denied receiving the order from Just Eat and hung up without giving my daughter the chance to query it further. A couple of minutes after this my daughter received a text from Just Eat saying that the restaurant (Caffe Nero Huntingdon) had just cancelled the order - leading us to believe that they did have the order in the first place, if they could eventually cancel it!!! We have placed a lot of business with Caffe Nero Huntingdon in the past but sadly this has completely put us off ever using them again - we will be avoiding in future! The abrupt and rude manner with which my daughter was spoken to by the Caffe Nero staff member was completely unnecessary especially as we had no control over what had happened!! I shall also be leaving a negative review with Just Eat (we are sorry that the delivery driver had a wasted journey and understand why he was upset, although he too should not have taken his frustration out on my daughter)!!

Vegan cheesecake and coffee. Was very good. Wanted to sit outside but the area was full of vapers and smokers and the seating area is enclosed all the way round so even though outside it retained the smoke. Not pleasant. Inside was fine.

Cafe Nero is a nice, relaxing place. I love to see the dogs. The staff is very friendly & take time to make the drinks with a press. Two concerns are (1) Smoking on the patio and (2) no outside space for non-smokers. Smokers come to smoke. They're addicted. The smoke ruins enjoyable weather. I am surprised a company allows secondhand smoke. Secondhand smoke has been proven to lead to health difficulties. I am hopeful company policy changes on both of these issues.

Decent coffee and teas. Good cakes and pastries. Bit slow service.

Staff are friendly but this place needs a refurb or a deep clean. Toilets are absolutely minging, reek of wee, even though they are apparently checked hourly throughout the day.

Slowest service you will find, 2 staff just pottering about with no urgency at all. There was 3 people in the queue in front of me and it took 15 mins to get a coffee.

Visited the store a number of times, the general staff are nice overall, the female manager is lovely when she's working. Other times when I come in, the Hispanic male manager seems to treat the other staff very poorly, speaking down to them and bossing them about and not helping out struggling staff, affecting their morale. How he speaks to customers is fine but seems very false and disingenuous. The lattes are good but quality of service varies depending on which managers on. I'd consider retraining the male manager, perhaps studying under the more competent managers.

No surprises, coffee and snacks up to their usual standard.

As someone else said, had to sort my own table… literally EVERY single table in the entire place had dirty cups etc, yet only about 3 customers were in there as this was around an hour or so before closing - 2 young members of staff more occupied with other things than making the space the customers were sitting presentable. As a paying customer in a coffee shop that is practically empty I shouldn’t have to remove dirty cups and plates from one table to another just to sit down. Not a nice environment. Better management needed.

Had to organise my table to be cleared and cleaned. No offence, but two youngsters running the cafe on my visit. Time management needed here. Yes, I'll be back as I like the coffee

Great coffee, as always, nice decor inside, friendly staff. Outdoor seating available, not much of a view but handy nevertheless. Dog friendly inside and out. May 22 nothing much has changed, the location is still unprepossessing, still dog friendly and, most importantly, still the best coffee in town. They really need to get around to fixing the broken glass panel in the outdoor seating area that has been cracked but has remained in place for months. 12/22 Glass now replaced, mince pies available!

Used my three+ for the time and enjoyed the white chocolate and strawberry frappe

The dirtiest cafe I’ve ever been to. Floors are filthy. Evidently not swept from previous day. Dog hair everywhere. Toilets are disgusting. I was given dirty spoons to stir my hot drinks with. which were replaced with yet another dirty spoon. When complained to staff I was given an excuse that it was a permanent stain on the spoon. The sofa also full of stains. Dirty tables and not wiped after customers have left. Staff looked stress out by the massive queue of people waiting to be served. Having worked in this industry myself many years ago I found this place disgusting and would be ashamed to call this filthy cafe my workplace. I didn’t even finish my coffee as the dirt everywhere put me off and didn’t want to end up with upset stomach. I will never visit this place again and I hope not many people will after seeing my photos. I will be reporting this place to environmental agency.

Currently on crutches after a bike accident. Staff have always offered to carry my coffee to my seat without being asked. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice quiet coffee house. Busy but you can still have a conversation with someone

Nice cafe Nero but slow service and the coffee tasted burned, milk way too hot and in general not a good tasting coffee for the price.

Tense atmosphere. I think the 3 women staff had an argument. Coffee luke warm, muffin stale. Didn't complain, I just wanted out of there, away from the dreary energy.

Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs. Despite accepting our order, they delivered an entirely incorrect order, together with a note saying they had been unable to fulfil it so had substituted items. The items were entirely unrelated to what we had ordered, however e.g. 3 bacon ciabattas had been substituted with 3 sausage rolls (pastry). When calling them, they were very unhelpful and said they were too busy with customers to call people if they weren’t able to fulfil orders, and would always substitute things with other things similar in price - even if they weren’t similar?! They completely overlooked the fact that we were customers as well, even if we were having it delivered to us and not going into the cafe, and in fact had spent over £30 on the order. If you order from here, you have to do so in the knowledge that you’ll get whatever they want to give you, and not what you ordered.

Unfortunately, due to the size and layout, it can become very restricted and bustling during busier times like lunch. The food and coffees are good though - and the service is mostly very friendly.

Waited in line for about 20 minutes as they were training staff, but wasnt too bad. Drinks were good.

Had a chai latte which had hardly any flavour and I might as well have had a mug of hot milk.

Good food, good drinks, and clean place. Service is horrible, half of the staff are very unfriendly and no smiles whatsoever.

I don't usually write reviews but the service I recieved from Fran today was excellent! So polite and nothing was too much trouble, a credit to the team🙂

The coffee is always lovely, as well as a nice selection of food and cakes. Staff are very friendly :)

Good drinks and cakes but hygiene and cleanliness left alot to be desired. Staff stroking dogs in the cafe and then serving customers without washing their hands. Toilets were disgusting - went to use the baby changing station and after opening the table, wasn't prepared to place my daughter on the table as it was so filthy. Trainee Barista was very polite and service was good, including helping us with drinks to our table as we had no spare hands. However I felt for her as she was left to deal with a long queue on her own, whilst another staff member was out the back and then talking to someone she knew in the cafe.

Lovely space unfortunately staff extremely unwelcoming, very chatty amongst themselves resulting in slow service. One waitress was particularly unhelpful, being a barista myself, being lied to about the drinks shows the lack of knowledge about their own products.

Cake selection is abysmal,it never use to be!! One member of staff's attitude is atrocious,unhelpful & No social skills whatsoever & seems to sneer each time , a product question is asked so much so we dread being served by him

Good food but to the guy serving today, when a customer cleans their own table and brings the tray up to you, don’t scowl at them and walk away. It’s bad customer service! Smile, say thank you, and either take the tray or politely ask the customer to leave it on their table because you are too busy at that moment. Get some customer service training!
